Battery Life in ROM

Hi,
I need some information about battery life on OB with these ROM:
-Zeus
-Marvel
-Suppressed
And please make a confrontation with V20 ROM!

Zeus- great battery back-up

I think yes, but 6.23o ver. and zeus is faster then stock

Zeus has lots of tweaks so it really is a hell lot faster than any ROM out there.

And it's just exited Zeus 6.24!

Im using CM7, only a little tuned at my way.

Look better : like said above, screen is mostly off. But I have to admit that with Temasek kangs, I have a good battery but I never play games on it, so battery is less used lol. ;-)

As you can see, I didn't use a lot wifi and screen is sleep, but 10 hours and 88% is good enough for any one.

the battery life is a lot different for everyone. it depends on your rom and the usage. i need good battery and i concluded on the following steps
1. install a custom rom equipped with custom io schedulers and governors. choose an battery friendly oriented governor (f.e. ondemand/ondemandx interactive/interactivex) and tha right scheduler. you can google for the governor/scheduler combinations but the most important part is the governor.
2. switch to 2g and use only if necessary wifi bluetooth gps connections
3.disable auto sync apps like gmail
4. set the scrren out option to 30secs or 1 min and the brightness to power saving mode
5. i don't know if it really conserve battery but make the rom faster uninstall/freeze the unnecessary system apps link of what you can uninstall http://www.modaco.com/topic/341738-list-of-applications-that-can-be-safely-removed/

Any statistic for Marvel ?

Zeus 6.24 is the best -Low battery consumption . We check now 6.25

Really depends how you use the phone. In stand by very small baterry drain. I think the same like in 6, 24. It is my feeling

I got 2 days of battery time on Zeus V6.24, it's really awesome..
now I'm testing the new V6.25

i'm using zeus but asking in the zeus thread might offend huexxx and his disciples, is mobile standby, i.e. the mobile radio supposed to be the main battery consumer? It's always around 50% of the total battery consumtion. It is the same with 2G only

what is your best kernel?

could describe what is the best kernel for our galaxy notes regarding battery consumption? either in stock or custom rom

Best kernel for me is notecore kernel by gavin. Best performance and yet best battery life.. The OC version is also great cause it is with undervoltage that makes battery life the best. I can get a maximum of 15 hours with regular use..

Personal opinion, no offence to anyone. Keep try the 2 hottest tw based custom kernel available at note forum. Hardcore speedmod k3-13 was the best in terms of stable, smooth and most importantly battery performance at on screen usage was superb.
Please give at least 24 hours to let the new flashed kernel settle down. Then you will can see the real performance.
Once again about the battery drain performance is very subjective issue. Its really depend on personal usage.
Give both kernel a try. Then you can feel the different. Maybe im wrong..

Hi, Imho:
Speedmod is better for battery usage.
Notecore, especially the OC's version is more performing.
Both kernels are superb........however

SpeedMod, no doubt about it. best battery life kernel you can get.
Tried all them speedmod versions.. but went back to the latest version still... Phone's battery life simply wouldn't die.. Played all day graphic intensive games, sync emails,3G, wifi, BT, and at the end of the day... I still get a little more battery juice out of my phone.
Simply awesome dude!

I'll have to agree that the newest Notecore kernel (v13.5?), not OC, has amazing battery life and performance. Really can't complain

Another day with k3-13 to have a reasonable battery sit down ,and i switch to notecore 13.4 to test it.. .

right now I'm with the rom lr6 stock and k3-13's am testing for several days and the battery lasts me all day using Tapatalk social networks and music and some other video, messajes etc
I will test the last notcore for make a comparacion

My phone is giving me more troubles: heat problem, fast drain battery and the new one

Hello again people of this forum. Again this phone is giving me problems related to battery the problem of the heat keeps disturbing. And there r two problems now first of one the battery longs for 4 to 6 hours even in standby idk why in fact I always make a full clean with nq security and the heat problem slow a bit but the fast battery drain keep pushing. Besides this I have new major problem and it's that when I try to charge it a pop-up show saying slow charge due the electric problem and the battery doesn't charge instead start to decrease when I left the phone for charge never get to 100% it charges till 91% sometimes even 85%. I'm desperate I don't know what do I tried battery calibration and don't solve anything I uninstalled tegra overclock since it don't help me and I'm thinking about make a full wipe + reinstall the firmware + wipe again. Van u guys help me here? I will appreciate that

If the phone is hot when charging then you will get the slow charge. You can overcome this by going into the hidden settings and enabling the unlimited temp charging under charge test. Bu you will have to do it each boot within hidden menu. or you could install Iodak kernel and enable the fast charge. Set max 1200 min 102 cpu in trickster mod and remove tegra overclock because that seems to cause fast batt drain and overheating. (don' ask my why but many people have reported tegra overclock causing this)

Hey thx for the quick answer I did remove the tegra overclock I do the hide menu thing about module test charging unlimited but the problem persist always I never tried with customs kernels and idk how to do it in any case I really need a help on this

If you have Clockwork mod installed and a unlocked boot loader its just a case of installing the Iodak kernel. pretty easy just look through the general section on how to do it.

Also if you tried the hidden menu unlimited temp charge make sure you have your usb cable unplugged or it will not work. Plug it in after you select the setting. But remember it does not stick so you need to do it each fresh bootup.

Iodak kernael is the best for your problem, Just try reading the forum under original android development for 4x iodak kernel. It tells you how to install and its not that hard.

Screen Problems in my mi5

For a week ,I noticed some weird behaviours in my phone. If i use an application over 8-10 mins, there's a layer of that remains under my home screen or any app i open later. After sometimes it's disappear. I can't give any screenshot because in sc there is no problem at all. Is my display dead already? Or its the burn problem? What should i do now?

That's a 3rd part issue, i.e what's app issue. Even if you got strong Wi-Fi/LTE Connection! What kind of download/upload speed are you getting ? As there's so many factors involved, why your video call is freezing! i personally think it's got nothing to do with the NOTE-9 hardware! ONE UI PIE9 is so buggy, it’s an software issue!

Anyone else having same problem?
