hello,
how can i install the market enabler?
can somebody help pls
Download from http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/
Some guys haven't any will of reading..
i tried that solution but still i can not paid applications.
I installed market enabler via appInstaller by Gregory House
http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-iqbs-android-appinstaller-pxEn.aspx
why still i can not see the paid applications?
1. Install and open the Apps Installer application from the "Android Market".
2. This opens a view showing *.apk application names in the sdcard root directory.(note, if no AppNames are listed you have no .apk files in the root directory of the SDCard)
3. Touch the app name to initiate installation of the app.
4. The app is now installed

1. You must have root privileges
2. Reboot your phone or terminate Android Market before starting Market Enabler and then fake T-Mobile US
i have an other probelem now when i try to change setting from market enabler it says "we got a problem houston" and market still can not find other applications...
why does it give that message
Do you have root?

Before starting this thread, it's impossible that you didn't saw the posts regarding rooting.
Rooting is the process by which you regain administrative access to your phone. It opens up otherwise impossible options to your phone.
Just like windows, you're only guest now on your phone.
This could help
- Why root?: http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=Why_Root
However i dis-advise you to root your phone unless you have some spare time and the will to read all the requirements and how to's

Yes I know reading can be sooo hard for other people... be respectful to the forum by doing a little research first... there are multiple threads on the first page about rooting... even the 1 click solution.
Do yourself a favor and read carefully before attempting to root... every step counts
thanks for the replies.
i think i need to read the topics carefully before rooting my phone
thanks to everybody...

LOL! Wicked mate!
Btw my phone IS rooted but market enabler won't install
http://uploaded.to/file/en3pg4
I'm going to ask the devs why
What do you mean by "won't install"? How do you install it?
I mean that I downloaded the .apk and tried to install and I get a generic error while "analysing the file" (I don't know how it sounds in english)
hello,
i rooted my phone it does not give "we got a problem houston" error now. but still i cannot see the paid applications.
I installed the market enabler before i was rooting the phone. Can it be the reason. Do you advise me to uninstall market enabler and install again?
And can somebody can tell me how to change the setting.
I go to settings tab from the market enabler and click on German O2
Later go to the Actual tab and and press save current settings. And exit
Is that right?
What is the gsm.sim.operator.numeric in actual tab. There is a number...
thanks for replies
I installed Xposed Installer and followed the instructions now my phone keeps restarting itself.
Any Idea how to fix? I rooted following these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066390
and followed these to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727372&page=2
What do you mean by restarting itself? Deinstall xposed again and check if you actually have root access (there is an app called root checker)

Just did that. I do not have root access according to root checker. before i installed xposed it said i was rooted. I was able to restore it in recovery from a backup i did. any Idea how I can get this going. I really just want to root to use the Dot View Case Hack.
I always recommand a toolkit of ome isnt that familiar with rooting and this stuff. Go take a look at wugfresh toolkit. It helps a lot!
But your bootloader is open, right?

Lol now if I can only get the xposed installer to install without issues ill be golden.
Thanks a million for the help. First time on this site and nothing but awsomeness :good::good::good:
Open supersu. Is xposed listed under apps? If no, then just reinstall the xposed app. To install your module, go to http://repo.xposed.info/module-overview, search for dot view hack, download and install it. In xposed you supposed to activate your module and do a reboot. Finish!

Ok. So I DL the xposed app and installed it. I select framework then Install/Update and reboot, when i power it back on and open it says the following message
"app_process version 58 has been installed previously but version "---" was found now. If you didn't expect an old file to be restored, you might want to try installing via recovery auto or manual"
Should it say this?
Try to follow that suggestion. You seem to have a device that resets /system on a reboot.

** THIS WORKED ON MY DEVICE BUT IT MAY NOT WORK ON YOURS. APPLY AT YOUR OWN RISK **What we gonna need :
USB Cable
Rooted LG Leon
Necessary files , Can be found on the end of this guide.
First of all , if you don't have a rooted phone follow this Guide to Downgrade and this Guide to root!
DO NOT TRY XPOSED WITHOUT HAVING ROOTED LEON! So , let's start! First of all make a backup and then continue, if you don't want just skip this step.
Procedure :
Install these apps before we install xposed. App #1 , App #2 , App #3
After you did that , Open Busybox and do the latest updates. Go to the end of this guide and download the .rar file.We gonna work with that now.
Extract it, take the 3 files (without the folder) and send em to the Internal Storage of the phone. NOT IN THE SDCARD!
After that , open Terminal emulator. Type
Code:
Su
Give root privileges to Terminal and then type
Code:
sh /storage/sdcard0/installer.bin
.
After that some Spanish stuff will appear, " 1 SI and 2 NO " Press 1 and then Enter. After that many letters are there, and eventually it will say "Fin de la instalacion".When it's over , open the System Cotroll and clean dalvik cache then reboot.
Wait till the load of apps, go to Storage again and install the xposed .apk . Do a soft-reboot then.
That's all folks! Download link is bellow!

If you need help or something like that reply me, I'm glad for helping you ! Cheeeers!
thanks!
I can confirm its working on my device (H340N)
Cheers!

Can you please upload as zip to this same thread instead of rar on MEGA? Thanks!
Well, i uninstalled the xposed framework and then followed your guide again and its seems to be working again..

Gravitybox is fully working on our device?
I didn't search the full program. so ain't sure yet. Xstana is working fine for our phone!
Thank you for uploading it to the thread. After a little travel I'm doing, I'll install it and report.
I don't want to be off-topic, but I coudn't find any answer yet: Is there any way to flash TWRP without unlocking bootloader? I couldn't. It is not actually flashed.
Yay, no problem about that file
No you can't flash a TWRP without unlocking the bootloader. Only the people who have Android 5.1.1 could flash a TWRP! (MetroPCS Version MS345)
Why do i need USB cable

Thank You on Your answer but to be honest that's not my question. I didn't asked about procedure itself, I have asked is it possible to uninstall this APK without "mysterious" error in ADB shell, [Failure -1000] or something like that, when one tries to uninstall those particular APK's?! I don't won't to just disable those APK's, I would like to uninstall them from currently working OS (I'm totally aware that with this they are not uninstalled - deleted "forever" because they are still in image itself and after factory reset they are still there but that's OK, at least they are removed from currently deployed OS). This JAVA application for which You have gave me a link is nothing more but nice GUI for ADB shell and I don't have a need for something like that, but thank You anyway!

Maybe issue lays in currently disabled state of APK?!
Maybe APK must be in enabled state to be uninstalled, not in disabled state (I have earlier disabled this APK because that's maximum I could do in this time)?
Nope!
Previously disabled APK is not the issue!
On most custom ROMs I have tried on s10 series I can't use the bixby button for anything..
Bixby remapper app works only in stock ROMs.
Does anyone know how I can bind the hardware button to actions myself, with root access?
Thank you

it says something like settings/system/keys/menu key or hardware key (I don't remember right now) and you can make the settings you want from there, I've seen this option in all AOSP roms so far
On Samsung Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F) I installed Pixel Extended Android 13.
[ROM][OFFICIAL][13.0][Galaxy S10/e/+/5G] PixelExtended [AOSP][ENCRYPTION]
In Settings > System, I can not find Keys.
Hm, so the file is in /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl
You rename it to Generic.txt to edit the file, and you are supposed to find
"key 703 [function]" (this is the setting for the bixby key). BUT, this entry 703 just doesn't exist in my file. Fault of the ROM developer maybe? idk. I tried adding the entry myself, but it didn't work.
Try and see if you have this line, it may work for you.
(Remember to change the file back to Generic.kl after you edit it, and then reboot device to test changes)

idk if I can post link here, but search in play store: Button Mapper: Remap your keys.
First try free version - maybe it will work - try the "Bixby Button".
If it doesnt work, you need to purchase pro version, and add button manually
Pro version costs 4 euro

I tried that and it didn't work for me. It wasn't a problem to buy the Pro version if I was sure it worked. So it's a Button Mapper.

You can check if it works before buying!
1) Install the free app and open, give accessibility permission
2) Press "Add Buttons"
3) Press "+"
4) Now, press the Bixby Key*
5) If something appeared on the app and the "ADD" button can be pressed, it works!
6) Now you have to buy app to unlock the feature
So try this, you will know if it works before buying.
* If you press the bixby button, and the "ADD" button is still grey in the app, then I dont have any other ideas.. its probably completely disabled in your ROM
