hi to all, is there any mod that allows you not to immediately unlock the device with your face? in order to have the notification read first and then unlock with the swype, keeping the unlock with the face like on iphone X and huawei p20.
I'm also searching for a method to do this. It would be cool if we have a symbol on the lockscreen that we can push to start the face unlock or that unlocks the device after the face unlock.

The new rom has a magazine unlock screen that must be opened before you are shown the pattern unlock. I want to remove the magazine unlock screen completely so it goes immediately to the pattern unlock.
I have spent a few hours reading and cannot find anyway to do this. Are there new lock screens that can be installed with root access that will remove the magazine unlock screen? it is quite annoying as I have to swipe twice to unlock my phone now.
Could somebody create a module that unlocks all sensitive notification content on the lock screen upon a face match (instead of conventional phone unlocking directly)
This feature is found in the iPhone x and I thought it would be pretty cool of a dev could do it for android users.
There is a guide for something similar using Tasker: here
This will enable face unlock but won't unlock directly the phone (unlocks but you stay on lockscreen). So this should show you notification content on lockscreen.
If you want also to unlock directly your phone, there is a xposed module: here
I tried this combination and works. Not super fast but works.

Well both of your suggestion have nothi g thy can do to notifications. I've been through this with a search and I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist and has to be created.
Read somewhere that it's available on huawei phones with some update but I'm not sure about it and I couldn't find any universal port for that feature.
Hey guys, I'm wondering, does anybody knows how to remove unnecessary swipe on the lock screen after the face has been recognized.
I'm running 9.0 stable and face recognition works but it's really annoying to swipe up every time after the scan.

It is smartlock and it works like this. You can not do anything . Nokia said they are implementing face unlock and for some time the China variant had it but now it was removed.

please make sure that you have the feb update installed on your phone then go to
Under security - > smart lock - > trusted face
to use face unlock. click on the power button then u will find a face symbol and a unlock icon just swipe the screen to unlock. just like iphone x

This is not actually a face unlock function like provided in other devices. It is just trusted face feature which i had even in my moto g3.
It recognises your face and unlocks your device. It dose not swipes up the screen.
I mean the lock screen, not the always on screen.
Notifications from WhatsApp will be shown on lock screen? There is option to answer messages from the lock screen?

You can see messages yes, but you have to unlock to unswer, but i think this is with every android device
No, on a OnePlus Lockscreen interactions work without unlocking.
I#m searching for a possibility to change this too.
Unlocking before being able to answer and the Quick settings without unlocking would be really a great thing.
