Sharing mi5 Oreo 8.0 base global dev rom download link, features and bug?

I want to share mi5 first oreo base global dev rom link for our mi5! It is close beta rom with some testing features and some bugs! If you don't like bug don't test it and wait for stable release! If found serious problem don't blame me! I mak only sharing and I am not dev.I am only testing user with crazy in news features.Thanks download and test below. Only clean flash! Format system,data,cache nd delvik cache .
Remark: it is oreo 8.0 base so zcx twrp not support this rom and use official latest twrp only! If you do not known how to solve hard brick, bootloop, data encrypt don't test it! Camera interface and some security setting and google setting was update change in this rom!
I face small bug with proximity during call another not found but when install xposed sdk 26 beta 3 devices bootloop!

Good post...I want ask if you can test camera and get video recording in 1080p at 60 FPS...is this Oreo version supporting this feature?

xiaomi eu is custom rom base on official miui with adding some customization and features. Rom share in about link was official from miui developer.

I am not sure bro. I haven't check video resolution. Now i use pixel experience mode.

1080p 60fps is not possible on Mi5. Obviously hardware limitation, as no ROM variant has it.

Why Android 8.0 and not 8.1??
All custom roms and the official pure android are in the 8.1 version, but the xiaomi used the 8.0 version.
I don't understand, the official miui 9 is in the 7.0 android version and not in the 7.1... Why the xiaomi always use the first version of the android with the base and not the currently version?

Because you should say big thank you cause you receive almost fresh factory updates for an old phone, unlike most manufacturers. And you will for some more years...

Xiaomi.eu is based on china dev and have ther own addons.

Before you talk you should get informed because Mi 5 has the same hardware of Oneplus 3 which has already this option. Always abecedarian people I find.

Ok. It will probably get 60 FPS videos in 2025. 240 FPS slowmo too

Now in all oreo roms , there are few bugs.. if you want stable rom then install nougat rom .

If you use telegram then join xiaomi mi max 2 groups . You will get solutions of all your probs. Because all devs are in that groups too .

Well, currently on Globe ROM which is a Custom MIUI nougat firmware , yeah...Oreo isn't stable yet....just use custom MIUI until Oreo AOSP or MIUI 10 came up

Bro I am using AOSP Extended official ROM Oreo 8.1,it has no bugs,and its ****n awesome try it..

Miui 10 with Andriod 8.1.0 ! ( Don't mention poco f1 ported rom here ) Need new rom

Miui makes best of the best rom. everyone loves that there is two feature that everyone want is Google Camera and Miui camera at the same time and Latest Oreo.

Theres no way to get miui 10 based oreo on santoni without porting, while xiaomi didn't release it. But dont expect too much. (As your thread tittle).

Everyone has its own personal preferences. I liked stock Android experience since my LG e400. Miui only has better theming option ( I like it ) but to bloated with usseles app.

Here are two roms that a friend shared.

Plz upload custom rom for asus zenphone max m2 and as I can see above roo havoc and arrow is while flashing gets error 7 but I delete assert code but then successfully flashed and it goes to fast boot bootloader plz help me

All developers are making ROMs for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 but non of them made any ROM for Max M2. So Disappointed and Upset. ? Even Official Pixel Experience ROM is available for Max Pro M2.

Still waiting 60 hour to unlock bootloader

I'm about to try final beta (beta 5) today. I've got System.img and vbmeta.img inside zip. Both to be flashed via fastboot? I've downloaded final beta directly from Google Developers site. It will work right?

Perfect, I think that for the first time it's working well.
I think that developer can do a good job with redmi note 7 and his hardware.

I managed to boot official Q GSI, was really really smooth for what it is, but many things didn't work at all, like Bluetooth, couldn't call anybody, I think even data was not working.
Hopefully someone will fix that.
