In my Honor play COR-TL10 no any option to select ONLY 2G mode, when i select Auto 2G/3G, phone stay always on 3G.
How can i active Only 2G or 2G mode in network mode options?

Go to settings>wireless and networks, >Mobile Network>disable the 4g of the sim you want to use as 2G> preferred network mode> gsm only.

My phone is two sim support but i insert mmc and i don't use second sim.

Then why do you need to set it to 2G mode? As the card is not being used?

See my attached screenshot, in that app, i don't have that line(hw_network_mode), i add that line manually and set new value, but after restart not work.
Whats your phone model? Is it COR-TL10??

Why would you want to change it to LTE? The S3 Mini doesn't support it anyway.

This is most likely because in some AOSP roms like CM there could be that this menus are disabled.
You need to search for the setting somewhere else or you could try to download pimpmyrom here:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androguide.pimpmyrom&hl=de
And then search for the function "enter device hidden menu". This should most likely work on all roms!

I'm not sure if it's safe to flash another firmware on verizon phones. but if it is, then you could flash a firmware from www.sammobile.com
This will most likely do the trick! then you could access the menu! :good:

Okay here is a thing that will hopefully get you back to your phone
- put the battery out and connect the charger
- insert the battery back inside and wait a few seconds
- disconnect the charger
########################################################
- press the download mode combo
- you should hopefully enter download mode!!
- get the verizon stock firmware from sammobile (for that at least your phone hopefully works like before)
- flash it

there are 2 last options you have from what i know:
- buy a usb-jig and try to enter download mode with it
- return to seller

I got a beautiful blue paperweight :cyclops:
And if i buy a USB-JIG i think is impossible because the phone doesn't have Bootloader or is corrupt

I think if the bootloader of a functional phone give me the .img and i put in in the SD and flash it crazy idea :crying: :silly:

If there isn't a solution now, maybe one day there is. The community is pretty wise in developing many things, porting apps etc. I hope there will be a way soon, if there isn't already!

oh and try searching for things like that for the s3 verizon (not the mini) there are probably things which work for mini too

Thanks Man but no, my phone is DEAD :crying: no one can't fix it because the JTAG (other tool) it's not available for this phone and in my country nobody knows what is a JTAG or a brick (or i don't know somebody)

AT&T purchased/branded N6 are carrier locked. If device is paid off/ purchased outright, then you can request an unlock code from AT&T for free. Otherwise you can purchase from several 3rd party vendors for about $25.
ATT Nexus 6 comes network locked. Once unlocked, should work fine on any Canadian carrier. I suggest WIND MOBILE.

My Update Center shows me that a Update is there.
And i have do it.
Now i did not have H+.
No Internet via Sim only with wifi.

Thanks, but i have find the bug.
The sim Card is not compatible after the Update.
I use a Prepaid Sim and i have buy me a new one, with the same result.
It is the Congstar Sim from Germany.
I have an old T-Mobile Card and there is no bug.
Go over to the gsm unlock thread. Download the hidden call menu apk. Goto the iot settings neaar bottom. Then lte settings. And apn. Here u can add edit and select your apn. Cannot be done in stock settings app or reg## menus without msl. This allows for no root and no msl. Edditing. Lol. About damn time we figured this out

Thank you very much, at last, I get it...My network moved to 2g automatically from 4g while calling though there is 3g network available(don't know why), so I wanted to force my phone to use 4g/3g only mode but all suggestions are there saying to make it 4g only which I didn't want, then I got it and I have what I wanted
