I am korean living here in Austraila and my suggest is not to buy it as Korean version of galaxy note is carrier locked !!. They don't have UNLOCKED version at all.
So, don't waste your money and buy international version of note .
Mustang2012, oke i wont buy the korean model but is it possible to buy the international version sim free in korea or they wont even have that model ?
after reading and watching the "screen issue" on the galaxy note i have decided to not buy the device.

Thank you for the answer. I'm trying to figure which exynos version to buy that I can root and also have LTE from at&t.
You wouldn't happen to know this would you.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm going to try and switch my region to see if I can buy the Exonos version. If I can, through Samsung, all we have to find out is what radio bands it has. I am going to dig around a little bit. If anyone has the answer already, a response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My wife and I are looking to upgrade our phones to the Samsung Galaxy s10 and S10+.
We are considering the Snapdragon US Unlocked version as well as the Exynos Unlocked International version. We have some hesitations on both ends.
1. Will the US version get regular updates like the international? Less? More?
2. Are the reports really true about how bad the Exynos is in terms of battery life? (performance is probably not noticeable to us, but battery is KEY)
Thank you in advance for your help.
(please post any sources as I would like real use cases rather than speculation)
Really depends where you live and where you will be primarily using the phone.
Don't get the exynos if possible. It's really crappy

You're in the US. The only option for you if you want a warranty that will let you walk into any Samsung center and get a repair or replacement then the Snapdragon is the only option. If you want to root and all that, then you'll want the international version what will have no warranty in the US, and even if it did, rooting would kill the warranty anyway.

Will the updates on the us version happen as often as the international? I know that the international gets pushed from samsung very fast...what about the us unlocked version being used in a different country?

The unlocked will get updates after the locked versions in the US, it's the way Samsung does it. I just went through the Pie beta program, and some of the International models did get Pie befire the US models also. We're not talking about months but it was a couple or so weeks.

Is it possible they could be using a snapdragon model because of the region? Normally china and japan use snapdragon.I didn't see that it said it was exynos (using English subtitles) but if it is that is very impressive battery life.

Plus the US version will ensure you have all the appropriate bands for usage.
Hello guys
I am planning to buy s10 next week. It's exynos version. And has android 9 and 1ui old version . I think I will get android 10 and 1ui 2 on OTA. But my doubt is , how I get all the camera patches, finger print sensor patches and other updates that samsung given all 2019 year ? Pls help me before I buy and stuck with unpatched softwares.
I just bought a Snapdragon Verizon (US varient) S10, I flashed the international version S10 software to it and now i have android 10 and one ui2
Terrible battery life on the Exynos.
I don't get ota as I'm TKD, and I still had the patch for fingerprint. the rest you can always update once it is available to download

I am not.... The S20 is way overpriced for what it is... I have the S10+ and it's been one of the worst devices in years I've had... I wouldn't trust Samsung to give a decent device again in particular paying what they want for the S20
