Hello friends:
I'm looking for tweak the stock kernel to get better battery life without sacrifice performance. Anybody know settings for the governors?
Thanks a lot!

New to tweaking these settings. Anyone care to explain or suggest settings that are a good balance for batt and performance.
bump ! i would like to know more on this too.
HI there People, I´m now using the Zeus V3.2.n by Huexxx, and I would like to know which Governor and I/O shedulers it´s the most proper for performance and battery life. I was messing around on the OB and i think i changed them...How do I know which governor and I/O are now on my OB? And how do i change them?
Thanks in advance for you ansewrs and big thanks to Huexxx who did such a wonderfull ROM like this one.
Go to a terminal, type su, then type zeus and voila, you can change the settings and also see whats set at the moment
Standard governor is InteractiveX as far as I know
Scheduler should be deadline as default. You can find some information on the different governors and schedulers all around here in xda, just search for them, also knzo once made a thread about it, it explains all pretty nicely
Thanks N00BY0815 for your quick answer. Just one more thing, I saw a thread here in xda about the ICS transactions for ALL ROM´S, and as far I remeber, that is one thing that Huexxx want to put in his ROM. Do you know if he knows about that or we can´t do that? Once again, thank you.
well, I use Savagedzen for governor and Noop for i/o... I Think it's best for performance and battery if you are not using any 3d ui and play various game...
but I use SPBSHELL 3D for launcher and if I play Angry Gran I got this lag in my games...
So I change to Smartass V2 and Deadline... I never got lag in games... but battery is draining fast if using eg. wifi, internet and GPS at the same time... maybe like 1% for 2 or 3 minutes ...
If I sleep, switch off the wifii, gps, I got 1% batt drain for 2-3 hours
Im using battery drain indicator from the market to measure my batt drain every percents...
I use Zeus v3.2n by the way....

so you don't need battery life ?
overclock cpu to 1.9ghz and put it to lagfree or smartassv2
gpu to 0mhz and put it to ondemand
disable cpu hotplug(mp-intelliplug)
Do as mentioned above, just change CPU governor to interactive and GPU to performance and you can kiss goodbye to battery life
Or make a profile of the above settings and just use them when its needed.
I know that default cpu governor of note 5 is "Interactive". It gives snappy performance but high battery drain.
The most thing I care about always is the battery drain so I want to change the cpu governor of note 5.
I had already rooted my note 5 and I am looking for some possible way to change the cpu governor of note 5.
Anyone has ideas?
Thank you!
I just tried to use "Kernel Tasker.apk " to find out what I can tweak for the kernel.
Only "userspace, Interactive, Performance" these three cpu governors I can choose......

Hello guys.
I'm currently on superior os running Android 9 pie
I need the battery to last as long as possible... SOME performance sacrifices can be made.
I'm currently using the Lionfish governor to increase battery life
Here's a list of governors I have available on this tomorrow ... (Not to keen on flashing a custom kernel, but I will hear you out non the less):
Lionfish
ElementalX
Impulse
Alucard
Interactive
Despair
conservative
On demand
Userspace
Powersave
bioshock
Lionheart
Performance
I use kernel aduitor to change tweek the kernel
Any and all kinds of tricks and tips, even if it's not governor or kernel related are also are appreciated!
Download L speed and use the battery profiles
how much screen on time you are getting?
