Nokia 7 Plus TA-1055 Supported LTE - Nokia 7 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi all, How are you?
Sorry for the basic question, I could not find a reliable source to verify Nokia 7 Plus model TA-1055 supported LTE Bands.
I am planning to travel to UK, and I need to make sure that model TA-1055 supports my country LTE Bands.
Please, May someone know supported LTE Bands for model TA-1055?
I appreciate any help you can give me

Look for "Nokia 7 Plus" on wikipedia.
Go down to reference no. 3 and click on link.
It will show you all supported bands.

Wikipedia suggested reference says that TA-1055 is a Dual SIM model, which is wrong information - TA-1055 is single SIM model.
Therefore, I think It has incorrect information about TA-1055 supported LTE bands as well.
Please, Does someone know a reliable reference to check supported TA-1055 supported bands?
This is the Wikipedia Suggested reference link:
http://phonedb.net/index.php?m=device&id=13305&c=nokia_7_plus_android_one_dual_sim_td-lte_in
Thanks in advance

Please, May someone help me?
Does model TA-1055 supports LTE bands 7 (2600),3 (1800), and 28(700)?
Thanks in advance

LTE Band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41 (Full band 41)
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA Band 1, 2, 5, 8
That's taken from the Get Started guide which was bundled with my TA-1055.

Please, Where did you find this information?

Yeah, the North American version will work on the four major in the U.S. with full LTE support.
Carriers will likely still lock the device (except Verizon which keeps their phones GSM unlocked)

Oh no I'm sure AT&T and the like will lock theirs but will the one sold by Google and Moto be fully unlocked and able to be used on all major carriers including sprints? [emoji39][emoji39]
when you say "global model" is that in a sense like a Nexus phone can be bought from any shelf and have any sim inserted into it and work?

Yep. It'll have the bands.
T-Mobile will likely remain unlocked, they have in the past with the N4 and the N5, I do not see any reason why they would start doing things differently for the N6.

There are 2 versions of the Nexus 5. One that Works on most of the carriers in North America. Another that works on most of the carriers, everywhere else. Typically called "international". The 6 will be similar.
The US Model will also work with MANY international carriers.

AT&T VoLTE

Does anyone know if the Nexus 6 sold through Google Play will support AT&T LTE, and VoLTE for that matter? I am in an HD Voice market and my mom's iPhone 6 can make calls over LTE. Of course AT&T's website says only the 6/6+ support this. I also can't seem to find any information about whether or not the Google Play Nexus 6 will support AT&T band 17 LTE. I am sure it does. If it does, what is the incentive to buy directly from AT&T?
Hopefully someone can clear this up for me. This looks like a great device.
I believe I saw B17 in the list. I'm sure it will connect for ATT. The VoLTE is unknown right now, as far as I know anyway. Hopefully the reviewers getting them will include that information. The hardware could certainly handle it. The question is if the carriers are letting it connect up. I don't see any reason not to, VoLTE is good for them. But they ARE carriers...
The chipset supports VoLTE, but whether it is enabled or not in the ATT firmware IDK. Lots of devices have supported VoLTE already, but almost none have the feature actually enabled.
B17

B17 is listed on Motorola's N6 Site under Specs: www motorola com /us/Nexus-6/nexus-6-motorola-us.html#nexus-6-specs":
Code:
Americas Model (XT1103)
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
CDMA (800, 1900, secondary 800 MHz)
WCDMA (1, 2, 4, 5, 8)
LTE (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 29, 41)
CA DL (B2-B13, B2-B17, B2-29, B4-B5, B4-B13, B4-B29)
Currently there are only a few devices that have VoLTE enabled (and only in a couple of markets), not to mention that both devices (calling and receiving) have to support (and be enabled) for HD Voice to work.

[Q] LTE Band

I read the specs for SM-G925V and the bands for LTE are: LTE Cat6 700/800/850/1900/1700/2100 (Bands 2,4,5,13,26).
Is this blocked in hardware or software?
In Brazil we use others bands and my carrier uses band 7. i got this phone as a present, so there is any workaround?

If it will be the same as on S4 and S5 it should be possible. Please look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
And according to the spec it seems that it should have all listed bands http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=4716
Did anybody get any further with this issue?

Adding Band 71 Support To Exynos S10

So Tmobile's complete 4g band list is as follows; 2, 4, 5, 12, 66, and 71.
According to clove.co.uk, and another spec sheet I found on ebay, the international model s10 will support all these, except for 71.
I ran into this forum below, which claims you can add additional bands to your phone;
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
Whats the likely hood of being able to add this band to the international model s10?
Edit: Band 71 appears to be a 600MHz network, if it matters
Thanks!
Zero to none! That's a 2014 thread that hit a dead end...
T-Mobile's full range is: B2, 4, 5**, 12, LAA, 66, 71, and LTE-U**.
Being that LTE bands require hardware support one cannot create it in software. Sure, disabled bands can be activated on certain QC devices but that's an exception. The Galaxy S1 lacks support for LTE. Even if someone managed to add LTE on an OS level the phone still lacks the antennas, proper modem, etc.

Never heard of LAA, LTE-U**, or 5**. Are those just separate frequencies? I just listed what I found on tmobiles site

Tencent version vs global version

Thinking of grabbing the 12gb ram version. Any reason to get global over china version?
Global not out until late Sept but im waiting re band differences. great site https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/AU/asus-rog-phone-2
Some folks have said that bands 66 and 71 will be supported in the Intl version. I hope that’s correct.

Same here. If I cant use volte, that's a no go for me
It seem the 12gb ram Chinese Asus rog 2 have more bands than the 8gb ram one. Can anyone verify? Has the 12gb ram been release in China yet?

Here's the information for the two Chinese version. IMO the 5999 version is same as intl version except Chinese firmware.
GSM/GPRS/EDGE; WCDMA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+;TD-SCDMA; CDMA 2000;FDD-LTE; TD-LTE Same
LTE Cat13 UL up to 150Mbps / Cat16 DL up to 1.0Gbps vs LTE Cat18 UL up to 211Mbps / Cat18 DL up to 1.2Gbps
DC-HSPA+: UL 5.76Mbps / DL 42Mbps same
LTE DL 5CA same
Unknown vs Support 4x4 MIMO and CA w/ 4x4 MIMO
FDD-LTE band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 adding band 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 28, 29, 32, 66
TD-LTE band 34, 38, 39, 40, 41 adding band 46
WCDMA band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 adding band 6, 19
TD-SCDMA band 34, 39 same
CDMA band BC0 same
EDGE/GPRS/GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz same
And the information on ASUS taiwan website shows that taiwan version have no TD-SCDMA nor CDMA 2000. Other are same with the Chinese 5999 vision.
Thanks. So band 66 but not 71. Ugh, that’s a shame with T-Mobile, especially with the Razer Phone covering band 66 and 71.
Edit: /facepalm. This phone can actually go on any carrier, so just have to see if any make sense.
So then is the 512gb tencent no good for Verizon? I tried Razer 2 but they said even if it has the bands to work on Verizon, they may have deleted support to get ready for 5g. Had to send the Razer back and I really want the rog 2 but I'm tired of losing signal with att where I live so I'd really like to get the correct model, if any that support verizon
I'm on T-Mobile as well, so I definitely need to know if this device supports volte in the states
I contacted Asus North America to ask if the version we get will include bands 66 and 71. I mentioned how it would be a huge selling factor for those of us on T-mobile. They responded that that would forward it to the product team.

They'd be stupid not to. Unless they like losing money. I know if it doesn't support those bands, it's not even a question anymore, I won't be getting it

Same. Where I'm at, 66 and 71 are crucial for me.
Tencent chinese version does not include EU/US bands..
