Are there any specific regions I can flash that will let me have samsung pay with paypal support on the latest firmware? Someone told me Germany would work, I flashed it and it doesn't have samsung pay at all.

If you have purchased a N950F/FD you should be able to install a OS from a EU country on it. As they are cross compatible. However if you have purchased a UAE device you will need to reformat the internal storage on your device too.

Yes, I understand that, and have been installing/flashing the other ones fine. However, I am looking for a specific EU Country that has samsung pay enabled, and also the ability to add a paypal account to samsung pay, so I can flash that regions and get those features.

You shoukd be able to install any N950FD stock Samsung OS onto it. Regardless of which country of origin the OS. You might still need to repartition and format the internal storage.... Not sure if you need to do that for Asian devices. But I do know you have to do that for UAE devices as they are partitioned differently from the standard international N950F/FD devices for some strange reason...

First i know i'm an idiot, i thought i knew what i was doing but i had no idea, i figured how hard could it be I've rooted a G1 and a Droid Eris.... but alas i was way over my head.
I have a Note 9 from KSA (Saudi Arabia) i'm a contractor there and it was way cheaper than buy in the states plus a dual sim variant. i tried flashing to the Detonator T-mobile rom, and now i'm left with a phone i can not use, I did not create a partition, i have backup all my personal data, but the original firmware is in the ether. I flashed what i thought was a dual sim international firmware, but all it did network lock my phone so god knows what international network, since neither my T-mobile or STC sim work in it. On top of that even though it has a "stock firmware" it's still rooted so knox has been triggered and even if my sim's worked all Knox linked programs wont work.
So what i need from you fine Ladies' and Gentlemen is a solution to get it as close to the stock version as possible, at this point dual sim functionality or the Wifi calling i was trying to flash on to it are second to having the phone function as a proper note 9 again. IF anyone has the stock firmware or knows of a place where i can get the original firmware, no i'm not asking for hacked version, yes i'm willing to pay for it as long as it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah, I know that Samsung devices purchased in the UAE are partitioned differently than those purchased in the rest of the world. I would recommend that you repartition the storage in your device and reinstall the stock OS back onto it again. That should resolve yoru issue. I don't know how to do this. Maybe somebody else can chime in a help you out.

Look up-thread, there's another person (besides you and I) whose had the problem and found solution.
Hi,
I recently bought a Note 9 (SM-N960FD) from Duabi and went back to Canada. Now Samsung Pay is not working here at all. It gives me an error message that it is unable to connect to server.
I have been looking for solutions around for the past 2 days with no luck.
What I reached is that I have to change the CSC of my phone (which seems to be a much more complicated process than just flashing a firmware with ODIN). And some suggested that this will be of no use as my phone is exynos and Samsung Pass will not work in Canada unless it is a Snapdragon phone!!
Also the model is different here in Canada. It is SM-960W (with XAC as the unlocked version).
What do I do? I want samsung pay to work on my phone. Shall I change the CSC and flash the Canadian firmware? Is it Okay to do that with the Canadian firmware designed for a different model (960W and not the 960FD)
Please advice.
Thanks
sammobile firmware to change csc
hello,
I was in a similar case when i bought my note 9. It was from Taiwan and I am from Spain.
I flashed the spain firmware from sammobile
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/recent/
and now my Samsung pay and other apps work natively. I was told by Samsung Taiwan that flashing other csc can cause incompatibility, so take that in mind because although it may not seem real, the different versions of smartphones have different hardware.
Research a little bit from the forums.
I had the sm-n960f/ds and i installed the software from the sm-n960f from Spain.
Also, install cpu-z so that you know well what chip is installed inside and more info that could help you to fix this issue.
This is only informative, I don't take any responsibility of any damage.

unfortunately you cannot flash different model firmware on different chip.
so ure stuck. the only way id see ure spay working again might be using a vpn and choosing one of the region phone is from. but id doubt this would be a good long term solution. but as a proof of concept, it might be nice to try.

there is a difference between spay for watches and spay for phones. not everyone has a watch. please read dr. ketan's rom thread title extremely very carefully. and then read the contents of the thread with just as much care.
reading is key.
My old phone is dead and S20 FE is one of the phones I am considering getting. But right now I am very... confused. Here are some questions I have.
1. I have been away from Samsung for a while. I have been thinking that it is easier to root Exynos ver and hard or impossible to root Snapdragon ver. But checking some posts here, it looks like there is twrp for SD and no twrp for Exynos? Is it easier to play with SD now?
2. I see many different model numbers of this device. International, US, EU, Korea, etc. I also want a 256gb model. Which model should I get if I want a rootable 256gb version (and where to buy it from)?
3. How do I update software after I root the device? As I said I have not used Samsung for a while. Should I find a new image somewhere, flash the image, and repeat the root process again?
Thank you in advance.
1. Yes, it's very easy to root the S20 FE 5G, as far as I know only the 4G one has Exynos, atleast here in Europe where I live. That is why you should get a Snapdragon.
2. Make sure your model is G7810, G781B, G781N, G781U, G781U1 or G981W, according to this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s20-fe/development/recovery-twrp-galaxy-s20-fe-5g-t4188991
Edit: I think the G781B has a 256GB version, atleast where I live. I can't tell you where to buy it, but check the UPC/EAN/Barcode number/Product code on other websites to verify if it has a Snapdragon and the correct amount of storage.
3. I am not sure, but I believe you would need to reflash the system partition via Odin.

Thank you for the reply. So I need to get S20 FE 5G version.
However no 256gb version is offered in my region so I wanted to find a seller who sells 256gb G781B and ships internationally, but it is hard to find. Anybody can help?
It's hard to find the phone I want... I may have to get a different phone. sigh
Pretty much, My friend gave me his Note 8, screen was cracked but the phone still worked and whatnot ,I still wanted to use the phone for root use and I tried OEM unlocking thinking this phone was the exynos model N950F, realising the phone is not on the latest version. I was kinda confused why until I saw the error when updating "Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service centre" I realised something else was strange, the current version displayed different numbers. "N950FXXU4DSD1", "N9500ZZH4DSD1", "N950USQU5DSC1". I then asked my friend where he bought this phone from and told me it was from eBay. I then proceeded to install CPUID CPU-Z which says my model is the chinese SM-N9500 (Snapdragon). I also installed Phone INFO and noticed my CSC code is for N9500 Hong Kong (N9500ZZH4DSD1), My bootloader is for N950U US (N950USQU5DSC1) and my PDA is EU (N950FXXU4DSD1). I think what happened was someone refurbished this phone with parts from a Hong Kong handset but then again I noticed this is happening to other people so there might be a chance someone is flashing a bad firmware on this system. I want to try flashing firmware on this phone but i'm still not sure which one to flash

It is definitely a marriage of parts. I have seen a few posts similar to this where people more knowledgeable then me say to get a refund (does not apply to you) and don't suggest what to flash as there is a greater risk of bricking the phone. If it was me I would leave the phone as it is, flash anything at your own risk.
Just bought a new GalaxyWatch5 in China, but it fails to connect to my Samsung phone due to "isn't supported on this phone" issue.
Does anybody know how to fix it?
Are you sure its not a knock off? Are Regions same for watch and phone? Factory reset watch and try again. If still a problem contact seller and/or Samsung support.

The watch are newly bought in China. I'm not sure how to check the region on the phone, but it was bought and used for some time in Russia.
Update: Support operator claimed that Chinese version GW5 are not supported due to the software features caused by restrictions on Google services...
if yr watch is china version you can,t pair phone with google services. the phone paird with watch witch disabled google service.
or try to flash your watch to other regions to pair phone enabled google services witch disguised sim Operatin (remove sim card not sure).
i prefer 2 but will take risks.
in general it is a complicated operate.

Yeah, It worked, thanks.
I had to use a non-Chinese sim card to make it work.
