[Q] Custom Power Saving Mode

I set Custom Power Saving Mode auto on when my battery dropped under 20%. However, once it on, I found that if I charged the battery back to 21%-100%, the custom power saving mode is still on and I have to manually switched off and then like those brightness and screen sleep mode time I have to change it manually as well. Is this normal?
No one knows?

Click to collapse
that happened to me as well !! It doesnt restore your previous settings when the profile is no longer in use !!
another useless feature from samsung i guess ! wonder what their software engineers do...
So, I guess the auto function is uselss. Manually is better?

[Q] battery saving app

hey guys, just wanted to know if any of use battery saving apps other than sony's super stamina.
if so what do u use, and which do u think is better.
currently im using lenovo power saving from my yoga 8
Basically battery saving app not only disable your data & wifi stuffs. It also kills the apps which is consuming more power. But android again starts the app which will drain more battery juice. So i wont suggest to use any battery saving apps. You can wisely act to save your battery.
Disable data, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth when there is no need of it. Disable auto brightness, use greenify to manage your apps.
if you have root, use greenify to hibernate the apps. thats the best battery saving app.
ah forgot to mention i also use greenify. thx for the comments
There is a greenify for unrooted phones (see playstore)....
However I doubt any batter saving app works as it should... They only turn off some connections like Wifi and data and thats it... (Same with stamina mode)... There is no app (atleast that I know of) that really helps saving battery.
If you're on stock then stamina mode is probably the best, if you're on a custom rom then I use greenpower and it works nicely as a replacement. It really depends on how you use your phone though as to what will work well, you can micro manage down to specific apps but it will barely be noticable saving power when the phone is in use its more for not wasting power when the screen is off (which is what Stamina mode does) that youll notice the saving.
I have Greenpower to only enable data when the screen is unlocked and to automatically turn off all data and sound for a night period but other than that it all runs as normal.

[Q] Location Services Mode Changes to High Everytime it is Re-Enabled.

Hi guys -
Annoying bug or feature - If you turn the location services mode to power saving, and turn services off and on, it always changes back to High, even when on powersaving mode.
It also UNCHECKS GPS off in the Power Saving Mode options.
Why is this?

Permanent Battery Saver On

Is there a way to permanently switch on the Battery Saver option instead of it automatically switching on at 15% battery and being disabled when charging?
Go to settings, battery, menu, and switch on battery saver with slide switch.
Well, i need it to be on permanently. ^What you suggested doesn't even allow a toggle when the phone is connected to a charger.
BTW this is for the latest lollipop OS.
I have Android 5,0,2 there is no way to have the phone on battery save when its charging (why would you do that anyway) Android turns it off. When you stop charging you turn it back on. I wouldn't know what else to suggest. If you have problems with battery see this thread.

Aggressive Battery Saving Mode Issue

Hi! First of all, thank you for making this available for us!
I have a question that I don't know if it belongs here, but couldn't find anything related to my issue anywhere and maybe someone can help me here.
I've set a routine in which the phone enters aggressive battery saving mode in the night and it comes back to normal in the morning: 00hs to 06hs. The thing is the phone doesn't leaves battery saving mode automatically in the morning, I have to disable it manually. This is a problem because many times I set emails to be send automatically at 6.30hs or so (I wake up at 7.30-8.00), which won't happen if the routine works unreliabily. I've tried to whitelist every app related to routines from battery optimization, so that it can run even in battery saving mode, but this hasn't had any effect...
Anyone has any idea of what I'm missing here?
Thanks in advance!
