Hi all!
My problem is not so simple.
I used my A2 with the september i got bored with it then I flashed benzo gsi rom.
For the october update i wanted to go back stock but MiFlash could not flash the phone succesfully with stock rom, so I flashed the september stock rom back with fastboot. Now i have a stock rom but wi-fi isnt working. Tried to flash persist through fastboot but it cannot be done always throws back error messages.
Is there any way to get back wifi using stock rom? Thanks for the help in advance
Flash stock system image just like you flashed benzo. The best way to return to stock is flashing from edl mode...

Since Last year January when my phone got bricked , i have not updated my phone even the OTA updates..
Some how managed to unbrick it..since than havent installed any updates..but now if i wish to install OTA updates what do i need to do?? as it seems my bootloader is still unlocked and if i try to download the OTA update will the phone get bricked again?? BTW i have TWRP installed still.....
Thanks
go to miui and download the latest rom and just install it with TWRP.
There are currently no Android Nougat versions without bugs expect the official miui rom
Agree
Downloaded latest miui developer rom.. Flashed via twrp.. Now stuck in boot loop... What to do..
You probably didn't download latest TWRP that is necessary for Nougat.

finally restored the previous back up from twrp..but even now same issue..cant boot the phone....have tried everything now.. Flashed twrp for nougat via fastboot.. Could get into recovery after that.. But than tried flashing the nougat miui developer rom again.. But same prob boot loop.. Tries restoring the backup with twrp but nothing same boot loop.. Plz help..
Where did you find twrp?
When I first flashed the twrp that was on eu miui first nougat for Mi Note Pro it didn't work. I then installed twrp that was linked from one of the reply which lead me to Miui Hellas it then worked.
I have flashed every version from that point very easily.
I did a find the link to twrp from one of the forums.. After flashing it.. I can atleast get into twrp.. But nothing else is happening.. I mean I tried flashing the latest developer rom but got bootloop.. Tried restoring the previous rom.. Got bootloop... So.. Got fed up and have downloaded the fastboot rom now and will use the mi flash tool in the evening after I get back frm work.. Hope it will work...and I forgot to mention that when i tried "fastboot oem device-info" i got bootloader locked.. After that i did unlock the bootloader frm mi unlock tool... Plz help..
Before going to nougat you have to put latest lollipop which is I think 6.12.22 then twrp for nougat then unlock bootloader then flash first nougat then I think you can flash latest nougat.
Hey guys, I've got some problems with my Mi8.
After flashing a zip I wasn't supposed to , I got stucked in Fastboot bootloop.
I tried to flash the stock ROM and it turned out to work, BUT just the android 8.1 version. When I try to update it to android 9 or try to flash it, I get stucked in fastboot bootloop again.
Do you guys have any idea of what could I do?
Thanks! :good:

Update your firmware through official roms
It's the same problem of this topic:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/help/help-stuck-fastboot-t3942798
I did the same process and it worked.

just download twrp flashable stock .zip for jasmine. Flash with recovery like any rom. Afterwards *enable* oem unlock and adb permissions... connect to pc via cable ...reboot to recovery ..if you still have twrp flash stock recovery ...
if you have stock recovery ..enter fastboot mode and use to lock bootloader
alternatively download a stock fastboot image amd flash it using Miflash
*just use a tutorial
* i suggested using first option because this option sometimes causes a soft brick if you use the wrong options
Hello
How I can go back to stock rom? Can you help me please?
assuming you're on a custom rom, i'd flash fastboot stock rom via mi flash tool and backup the data before flashing.
Thanks

While flashing the fastboot Rom, there is an option to lock or keep it unlocked.
Just flash stock recovery rom via twrp if you want still unlock your bootloader, more simple
My bro's girlfriend has old mi 5x and still have stock rom then she gave to my bro and he get twrp recovery and install google custom rom. It work very well, yesterday he gave it to me and i have a stupid movement: install stock rom again. My phone recovery got destroyed, i follow some help on web and my os isnt there anymore so it got useless with fastboot only. I research web again and fount edl mode i have succesfully install stock rom again, it got some error: my wifi and bluetooth dissapear old mi account gone too and my device got locked bootloader so what can i do now?
