I use it ever since Repulsa stopped working on the S9 Port ROM. It's very good, give it a go. :good:

have you tried going to recovery and then only wiping cache?
if all else fails then go to recovery and wipe data and cache. if it still happens on a fully reset phone then it might be something g to report to samsung.
reset can also be achieved in the system menu too.
Thanks for reply. I tried cleaning my cache from recovery. Also tried cleaning cache and data of Launcher but problem still not being fixed :/
No problems with Viber and WhatsApp notification..so I assume It's SMS bug.
I really don't want to do factory defaults (too many apps to set-up) including my bank apps (need to go to bank for verification etc)

Hello. I finally found a solution
adb shell settings put global heads_up_notifications_enabled 0
Now, the problem is gone :victory:

I've noticed this problem also, glad to see its not just my phone. So this command is just sent via adb? No root correct? Does it affect anything else or just this bug?

LoL, I'm also glad that it's not just my phone.
No root needed. Just adb command I wrote on previous post.
It didn't affected anything else...
You can always use same adb command enable 1 to restore previous settings.
Best regards

Thanks for the tip. Does that involve rooting? Would I still be able to use Google Pay etc?

Hello,
Root is not needed. It's optional.
Google Pay works as far as I know, however, I don't use it so you better do some research before flashing. No issues with Google Play, banking apps or anything else from my experience.

Hi,
I'm trying to install pixel experience, I put the rom on sdcard when connected to pc on TWRP recovery mode, after flashed the phone doesn't boot.
Same thing when I've tried on Parandroid.
Nothing, why?
I wrong something?
You must flash vbmeta.img and disable dm verity.
Find firmware patched with vbmeta, flash in recovery and the phone should boot. The img has about 90 MB.

Which file are talking about?
Will I find it inside the .zip of the rom?

I guess you did format data? The one with "yes".
What is the actual status of your phone?
If you are still in bootloop on Mi unlocked screen just flash the zip file in twrp. No need for new fastboot flash and to flash aosp rom once again.
It's a zip.
11.0.9.0 firmware patched with vbmeta.
Usually about 90 MB.
If you have Telegram you can find the file in Mi9 groups...

I'm just reflashing with Miflash Pro again to this stock rom version : cepheus_eea_global_images_V11.0.8.0.QFAEUXM_20200212.0000.00_10.0_eea

Yup, that's the one. You flash it in fastboot.
Second option is patched firmware to be flashed in twrp.
The result should be the same in both cases.
