u could try and find the downloaded update files in local storage and delete them manually. then the reboot would not be successful in updating the system.
Sent from my Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (Oxygen) using Tapatalk

Solved, moved my update file to another folder n the update cancelled. Tq

Problems with Android N Preview and Unenrollement

Good Morning Everyone! I decided to open this discussion hoping someone could help me solve or at least understand the problem I have been having on my Nexus 6 with Android N Preview. So, I have the Nexus 6 since April and I got it from a friend who sold it to me. At that moment the phone was already enrolled in the Beta Program, and was running one of the first previews. But here came the problem. In fact I wanted to unenroll the phone but when I enter the Beta Program page, my Nexus does not appear as eligible device nor I can unenroll it from there. I looked at Device Manager and it shows my Nexus 6, but I actually could not do anything to unenroll it. I tried flashing a Marshmallow build with NRT but as soon as I turn on my phone, an annoying notification shows up, saying I can update to the N preview. So, how can I try to uneroll my Nexus 6? My friend says he is not able to do it for me, cause he doesn't see the device on his account anymore. What do you suggest me to do?
Thanks in advance, guys!
Here is an idea.
When NRT is used Twrp-recovery is installed.
Copy a lite stock rom in 'zip-format' to internal memory. Or download it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59561445/
Reboot in recovery and wipe the system partition and caches.
Still in Twrp-recovery - Flash the 'zip' with lite stock rom.
Reboot.

Thanks for your tips, man! I have some questions about: with this procedure I'm going to install a custom ROM, but if I wanted to go back to latest official MM build and flash it with NRT, will be the problem solved in the same way in your opinion or will I get the notification about the preview again? What if I try to access with another different account after that in your opinion?

You need to delete the current account and do a factory reset.
For going back to stock there is a tutorial,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=57063390/
So I managed to go back to android MM after enteting a new account and unenrolling my Nexus 6 from Beta Program. Now everything seemed fine but then after I updated back with the OTA I received, I noticed my device has still July Security patch. I thought Google would have sent me September ones, so I tried to check manually and waited a whole day, but nothing happened. Coukd it be a problem related to bad installation in your opinion? Do you suggest me to restore September build through NRT?
Thanks for all your help man, I owe you and thanks you for your time!

I don't know french but seeing "le fichier zip est corrompu" is enough. As i understand error says that zip is corrupted? I would try to download it from an other source. You may check in downloaded_ota folder if you can open it.

I had try official rom package yes with : " ZIP CORRUPTED " on TWRP.
I had try to download last EU Rom on XDA and Xiaomi forum.
Error is not the same : " BAD ROM ERROR".
Now for this time and future times. What I need to do for update my phone please ?
When we Root phone if I understand we totally lost official Update Support ok.
Now with information of my screenshots about my room version.
What I need to download pleased ? ?
Thanks guys ! Really (I had already brick my fist MI9 when I had install TWRP and delete data and all partitions. The power of noob ?).
?
The last rom you downloaded from the website and not the app was for mi9t from what I can see from your screenshot. Try download the rom for mi9 on a computer and transfer to your phone and see
No we haven't lost the official update support. I have updated over official ota for many times until xiaomi stopped global beta releases. Check your phone model name, for Mi 9 it's cepheus and in official ROMs it in file name. And there is a different ROMs for mi 9, mi 9 pro, mi 9t and mi 9t pro ))) So download ROM for your model and try to open it for example in winrar. If archive is corrupted it won't open.
btw, i have had problems with corrupted archives. So it happens.

You update manually but there is an app that finds updates automatically and downloads them, installing it's easy and can be a dirty flash as long as you remain xiaomi eu
You can either try flashing China beta or xiaomi.eu. On China beta you can have OTA updates (100-300MB in size, either every Friday or from Monday to Thursday, depending on which program you want) but only if you pass the exam on common Android knowledge such as how to enter fastboot or recovery etc. but the whole exam is in Chinese, while on xiaomi.eu you can only download the new version of the ROM and have it automatically installed in your custom recovery. If you really want to use China beta I can send you the answers and guide you through activating the beta program once you pass it.

Question update for mi 11 ultra version 12.5.7.0

i am a mi 11 ultra user, i gought it from China, and i have already unlocked it and flash it to global version Miui 12.5.5.0, now my device shows for an existing update of version Miui 12.5.7.0, which is already dowmloaded to my device, but the device cannot execute it.
i am trying since days to find a way to update my phone to version 12.5.7.0 without success, any body can help to solve my problem.
thank you!
Is that downloaded ROM is fastboot or flashable .zip file ?
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.5.7.0.RKACNXM_v12-11
this is the name, i don't know what kind of ROM!
The update was received automatically trough OTA or did you downloaded the update manually ?
I had to download the full 4GB or so 15.5.7 update because the incremental one wasn't working.
Please let me know if you need assistance on installing the full update. You can find the rom on one of the threads on this forum.
Good luck !

From the filename it's not the Global ROM but the Xiaomi.EU custom ROM.
This would also mean it's an update to be flashed using TWRP.
Sadly for now the update through system settings doesn't work as TWRP doesn't presently support this feature.
So you need to download the update (which you apparently did ), then boot into TWRP and flash the update from there.

Don't forget that if you coming from any other ROM, stock or non weekly EU, you will need to format your phone, so make sure you have access to your data or back up. This due to partition differences between the ROMs. If you don't, you may end in a boot loop until you do.

Reboot to TWRP ( use can use the shortcut in settings, device settings, my device and click on the 3 dots top right for menu). Once in twrp, enter screen lock password press return. Select install, select update zip file and slide the slider to the right to flash.
Once done select wipe cache and dalvik, slide the slider to the right to wipe, then select reboot system. This will not format your data as long as it's the same ROM branch you are updating, IE EU weekly to weekly, stable to stable or stock to same stock.
It will take longer to reboot first time but as long as you see miui and 5g, just wait, it will be fine.

You need TWRP to flash that
here is the problem, i have downloaded the TWRP and followed the instructions but the device booted in Chinese language, i have mixed up and stopped the procedure!
Did twrp boot in to Chinese or the ROM? If it's twrp, just type in your screen lock password, then look for settings and select the globe to change to English.
If your ROM is now in Chinese, you flashed the wrong ROM.

my ROM is global, the phone was in Chinese and i have unlocked the bootloader after waiting 336 hours, then flash the Chinese ROM to Global V12.5.5.0, after that i had a message that there is a new update to V12.5.7.0 and here i have stuck!
Yay done with the Mi 11 Pro, only thing I didn't notice was reboot after installation not sure where that is, had to manual restart but updated none the less.

You can try with Mi flash (dont relock bootloader)
MIUI EU 12.5.4 not EEA but CN version
Set a lock screen lock, then go to twrp and use it to unlock and decrypt the storage

There is no downsize. You are only replacing stock recovery with a different version. It has no affect on your phone, it's and your own data. It just makes it easier to flash custom or even returning to stock if required as well as other tools offered in the TWRP package.

Installing twrp doesn't install root. It just replaces the system recovery. If you really want root, use Magisk but I've not found any reason to root my phone for ages.

I sold a phone yesterday to somebody, doing the full wipe before that. It was on the latest weekly Xiaomi.eu. Now it has this issue. Is it possible that it is the same thing?
