Dust particles are everywhere even in our homes. It is perfectly normal to see them in videos filmed using HD cameras.

Light bleed

Noticed when I was on tapatalk if I applied any pressure to the sides of the screens like by squeezing that there was noticeable light bleed. Anyone else have this issue? Not gonna return it over it, unless it gets worse or becomes distracting, but just wondering.

A tiny bit on the left side of screen when in portrait mode.

4X HD - Double ard bstard!

My missus dropped her fone getting out the car without realising under the car. Then when getting back in and driving off the fone got run over by the car and pinged off into the middle of the road!!
The screen is cracked badly so needs sorting on insurance but the fone itself works fine and the only cosmetic damage is the screen!!

I take at least 20 photos and few videos per day with my mobile. But with this many out of focus photos and dark videos. So no, not much.

See i have an Xperia S and the picture quality is brilliant on it. And I don't think quad core is even necessary really

If you like taking pictures, you should check out lumia 920. It has the best camera of all the phones.

You have to wait for the speaker cover to dry properly.
It will come back to normal once its dried.

Are you sure? It's been 2 hours now ..
Have you had a similar experience?
It can take a while to dry. 2 hours is short.

The manual says to let the speaker dry for at least 3 hours before using it again.
Although, it's fairly obvious that hardly anyone that has the phone has even glanced at the manual

See no sweat it just takes a while to dry. Sony here in Germany Berlin said to me that if it isn't better after a day so like 24 hours then there is problem.

Z1 build quality

When I tab with my index finger to the upper right corner I can hear that the glass is not fixed plane. Can anyone of you confirm that??
Every time I pull down the pull down menu I hear this annoying click noise telling me I have a bad build quality. Unfortunately that won't be a reason to send it to Sony for fixing it.

Must be just yours, my Z1 don't do that, send it back to Sony

Do you think that's enough for sending it back?? The only thing that could be a problem about it is that maybe it is not water proof anymore..
Sent from my C6903 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Best thing to do is ring them and tell them the problem and that you want it sorted, and yes if the glass is not on properly then maybe it won't be waterproof, I think Sony guarantee that so you could have a case for returning it

It's probably the camera that you hear making the noise.
I concur, the camera could be the sound.

Just curious, is the camera lose or why would it make noise?
The lenses of the focus aperture are not fixed and have some space to move when the camera is not in use. That's producing this clicking noise.

I believe its the camera! It comprises of many lenses. I can replicate the same sound by tapping my iphone and of course my Z1 as well. Don't fret! I'd suggest you to go to a nearby mobile showroom and try the same on of the Z1 demo models. Try it on an iphone as well.
Cheers!

so you can confirm that you have the same "sound" ??
If it is like you say everyone should have it right?

Yes, and yes.
But most people probably won't realise it because it's very subtle.
As long as your glas cover does not show any flex when you squeeze it I think you are fine.

Screen goes berserk underwater

So I recently got to try to take pictures with my phone underwater.... But one problem I came upon is that once my screen touches the water, it goes berserk and basically exits the camera app. I know I'm suppose to use the physical camera button but I can't even do that if the phone exits the camera app. How are people able to take videos and pictures under water???

Oh I thought it was just my phone. Mine too goes crazy when used in shower or underwater, the screen starts to have a mind of it's own.

Yes. this is stupud. They make a water proof phone but you cannot use the phone when its wet. Thats why the new mini-app has been released.its called touch block.

I'm not sure what else you may be expecting. The phone can't tell the difference between your finger and water. That's why there's a hardware camera button....
Also, you'll notice that if there is water on the screen and you turn the screen off then back on, it learns to ignore that water and the touch works well. Obviously this doesn't work underwater or with water constantly falling on the phone.

I'm not expecting it to work well under water or anything more. You've totally missed my question, I just want to know how people are able to do this
http://youtu.be/O3k3szQDmHM
Obviously their screen is not going crazy I assume and stays within the camera app to be able to record/ take pictures
