Hi, ive updated to Oreo 8.0 . Pleased with it but NFC comes up with an error. Im assuming because of bootloader unlocking?
Any way to fix please?
I have unlocked the bootloader (dc unlocker) Installed Twrp and the image from This thread to recover it after having issues.

for all the Mate S Owners who updated to Android 6.0 with an pushed OTA Update. There is currently no way to downgrade to 5.1.1.
If you upgrade without an unlocked bootloader, your device will be FRP locked. The not visible OEM-Unlock option is some kind of bug. without it you´re not able to unlock the bootloader and rollback.
It´s also not possible to force update with the 5.1.1 Update.app. It will cancel after 5% and abort the update. If not, your device will most probably get bricked because of an update error.
You have to wait for a new update or an official rollback file from huawei
and please stop spamming this forum. No one will help you if you keep going on.

Hi all. So I recently bricked my device while trying to update to oreo.
What I did was rebrand my device from PRA-LA1 to PRA-AL00X(P8 Lite 2017 to Honor 8 Lite) which was required for updating to Oreo. After that, I typed in the command from TWRP to install the update.zip, but nothing happened so I rebooted my device. It boots up as Honor and my eRecovery and fastboot still works, but my bootloader locked when I rebranded.
As I'm typing this, I managed to connect to WiFi and its downloading the firmware, but what I was wondering is will it be possible again to unlock bootloader again? Because my IMEI number obviously changed since rebranding and I didn't save the unlock code so I was wondering if I manage to unbrick this device if it'll be possible to unlock bootloader again with the new IMEI. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi everyone,
i was thinking about going back from Pie to orea to unlock the bootloader.
I know how to revert back but i wonder, is bootUNlock on Oreo still possible when you installed Pie before?

Great!
Wondering if someone could point me to a guide on how to downgrade to oreo and unlock the bootloader on the 7 Plus?
No need to downgrade. Open developer settings. Disable and re-enable it. You can enable OEM unlock

Can anyone explain how to unlock the bootloader and rooting works under Emotion UI 9.1.
Since the Huawei has blocked the bootloader codes and no longer releases them to users, the P10 plus has not been developed.
If I have a boot loader code, how do I go about unlocking the boot loader, how do I root my device and is there any way to downgrade?
Because there is the possibility for me to get a boot loader code for my P10 plus, so I would like to ask in advance how the procedure is.
It could be that I probably have to downgrade my device to the older e-motion Ui version so that I can even root and import custom ROMs. Is that right.
Thank you i hope the Comunity can help me.
My Device is
