Hey.
I wanted to ask, is it possible to connect a mouse to the yoga book, considering it only has a microHDMI port and microUSB, how and what, if yes, you do recommend?
Thanks,
The easiest way is to connect a bluetooth mouse. You can also connect a USB mouse using an MicroUSB OTG to USB A adapter cable, which you can find on Amazon or eBay for a few bucks. If you have the Windows version, any mouse will work. Android has basic mouse support, but fancy gaming mice with extra buttons and wheels may not be fully supported.

The double female adapter that I bought did not seem to work so I bought a miniusb to usb adapter. But mice and keyboards still does not work. There is even a setting for mouse sensitivity in the phone. How do you get it to work!?
Thanks.
Seems custom kernel is the only way
Use a bluetooth capable mouse

Keyboard http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Blue...d=1353746562&sr=1-16&keywords=TABLET+KEYBOARD
OTG cable http://www.amazon.com/T-Flash-Adapt...9100+i9100+Galaxy+S+II+2+GT-N7000+Galaxy+Note
Anyone? Please Reply so that i can order
You will get 2 receivers but only one can plug into the OTG cable. Pick up either the keyboard or mouse you linked and pick up a bluetooth version of the other.

I personally use the Logitech K700 Google TV controller (keyboard + touchpad) through a USB OTG cable. Works great and the appropriate android keys are mapped correctly. I also use it as a couch controller for my PC when watching movies.
You can buy one at ebay for about 30$.
anybody know of a decent dock that will serve as a stand and offers a keyboard w/ trackpad? i just got my n7 and ordered one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009WSCW4S/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with it and i'm finding that the touchscreen is pretty awkward to use while it's docked. i've scoured amazon for something more suitable with no luck so i thought i'd ask the hive mind. if no such dock exists i should be able to pair a bluetooth mouse or touchpad at the same time right?
Wow... No answers? LoL!! Um... just in case others come looking, you can pair a bluetooth mouse with it. I was looking at that very keyboard dock today. I want one. LoL!! My plans was to use a USB OTG and a wired USB mouse. I may invest in a bluetooth mouse, though.
One thing I've tested before was using a USB OTG: connecting a USB Splitter to it: Then connecting a mouse and keyboard to the splitter. This works. The only issue here may be power. Sometimes the keyboard wouldn't work, or sometimes the mouse wouldn't work. Other times both work fine. I'm lucky enough to have a USB to USB cable, so I plug one end into a power source, laptop, wall adapter, etc, then the other end into one of the splitters. This will give power to the keyboard, mouse and Nexus.
Just recently i bought a m185 and it works great via usb otg, but i want to use it via bluetooth to keep the usb port free for charging.
I tried to connect it to my nexus 10, but it doesn't show up in the list of devices. How do i get it to work?

According to http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-mouse-m185 the mouse is "Wireless" but not a bluetooth mouse.
You have to use the dongle and OTG cable to use. If you want a cheap bluetooth mouse, try this one: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-6PL-00003-Sculpt-Touch-Mouse/dp/B008OEHPPM/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1381881003&sr=1-3&keywords=microsoft+bluetooth+mouse
I use the Microsoft mouse and it works very well.

So that means they are not using any bluetooth technology in this mouse? Damn now i need a new mouse, again :/
I just bought it a few days ago(to use it via otg ), but i have already said why i want a bluetooth mouse.
Hi, guys!
Do you know if there's a way I can attach a USB Dongle into the port that's in the HDMI end of the Ready-For cable?
I mean, I have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but they will only connect to the dongle that came with them, I have a regular USB to USB-Type C converter, which works on the phone if connected directly to its port, but if I connect it to the HDMI, it doesn't, if there a way to make it work?
I hope I managed to explain myself.
The HDMI's USB is only for charging. And if your keyboard and mouse connect to a dongle they are wireless but not bluetooth, if they were then you would be able to directly connect them to the phone. The solution is to either to buy a USB C hub with HDMI and USB or buy bluetooth periferals.

That really makes a lot of sense. I hadn't thought about it that way.
Thank you very much.
