I started a new device tree from scratch, following my device tree for P8lite and P9... I'll push soon on my github after there will be more feedback about this Rom, maybe I need to adjust something regarding stability or battery....

Oreo 8.1 Booted on Huawei P8
Hi !
Today I started to work on Oreo 8.1 for a few hours ( unfortunately, my free time it's limited in this period ) and I already booted RROS Android O on Huawei P8 :
Apart USB, internal & external storage nothing does to work ( well, I didn't tried to fix something ... ) , even touchscreen seems to have some flickered issues !
BTW, I'll keep working on RROS N for fixing camera and the rest of the issues, and also I'll start working to fix issues on Android O 8.1 .

It says that my device is Cherry and that this is for alice? (P8 lite dual sim version, ALE-L21)

Since video recording is a bug now, we can guess that the camera is like half the quality.

I just flashed it, but the device is stuck on the bootloader screen (Device cant be trusted bla bla...) I followed exactly the installation instructions with openGAPPS ARM64 7.1 micro package.
Anyone else facing this Issue?

I can access the sdcard in TWRP yes.

The location doesn't matter. Even you can flash a ROM located in OTG. Let's wait for Surdu to answer.

Yes.
I flashed the Rom but I wasnt able to register any fingerprints.
I came from RROS with whitepug kernel. I also tried reflashing the RROS rom and then AOSPA on top but still the same issue.

Hmmm ... it looks like you did something wrong, I'm also on AOSPA with stock AOSPA kernel and I have no issue to set a fingerprint

Sorry, this is my last ROM based Android N for Huawei P8Lite ... No MIUI or other ROMs , sorry
Soon, I'll push into my github the source code for Android N, and in this way other users will build for you MIUI or whatever you want !
Starting from now on, I'll continue on Android Oreo, following that all OpenKirin's ROMs will be updated once a month with a new patch of security

The Rom Omni lasts longer than the battery, with normal use it gives me one day.

For my XOS it was very slow scroll and the battery did not reach me at noon.
