Note 1: URL doesn't contain "nokia_nd1_ta104400ww" in its path but when looking at "META-INF\com\android\metadata" inside zip, it contais TA-1044 reference
Note 2: phone was forced to restore factory settings after update (failed to decrypt, even with no PIN or password set up)

Why should i use FF when the build never get approved before builds get OTA anyway?
You can use twrp or there is a modded recovery to force install (see p9 forum)

Hi. I have a TA-1004
i bought it used though in warranty etc.
Phone is on android 8.0.0 with 1 march 2018 security update.
Whenever i check for software update, it says your phone is upto date.
I downloaded the zip file and when i tried to upgrade it from stock recovery, it said you cant downgrade. As that 8.1 OTA zip had feb security patch.
I need help. How to update?
So, here's the thing: I upgraded to Pie using the leaked OTA. When the January update became available last month I didn't try to rollback or anything because it had nothing new.
Now the February patch is supposed to have the missing Pie apps (Digital Wellbeing, etc) and it would be really nice to be able to update, but I can't even update to the Jan one since it gives me error when trying to install the patch.
What's the best way to go to the February security patch? Should I try to flash an official firmware, and how?

Yay, I did it! I followed this guide from here about unlocking the bootloader but only as far as downgrading to November patch.
After that it installed the official December Pie beta and then the January patch. It doesn't find the February update, but I guess it just isn't available in my region.
My new device says october 2018 is latest patch. WTF Nokia and Android One?
I tried factory reset with or without SIM and that is latest patch i got.
edit: I solved problem by flashing OTA files with adb.
