Hi, I've a 3T model (A3003) bricked
I think had try wrongly with the package for oneplus 3 and now tool think is that one.
now phone turns on but display color faded and dim brightness.
unable to flash OP3T unbrick rom, MSMdownload tool shows CheckHwID Failed! Phone: MSM8996, Image: MSM8996Pro
and in twrp it displays message that , this phone is OP3 ,selected firmware is for OP3T
need help to fix this set
thx :highfive:
Easy If you can enter in twrp you can solve it...
Try this:
1 enter in twrp-->wipe-->format data-->yes-->reboot in twrp
-->wipe-->advanced-->full wipe
2 download last official oxygen os 5.0.6 with your pc
3 connect your op3t to pc and copy the official
rom on phone-->flash the official rom and reboot
---------- Post added at 12:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:40 AM ----------
Don't need tools if you can boot to recovery
no, I can not. if I flash a rom for 3 T it tells me that it is not compatible because the detected phone is a 3.

I've seen this in other threads. There are 3T devices with A3003 as the model number. But checking Aida64 is probably the best way to determine if it's a 3T or 3.

attachement of AIDA64 SCREEN
if his device report non-compatible what is wrong to try op3 firmware
.. Doesn't the compatibility error occur with outdated versions of TWRP? Better try and flash the latest version first.

When it's ready and Huawei will release it.
Very difficult to say exactly when. Stay tuned [emoji6]
Since P9 Plus is the TOTL phone, I hope it receives the N update first.
Also, Aug. 2016 android security patch since I am still on July 1, 2016 level.

If you have P9 Plus VIE-L29 model, you can debrand your phone to C185, and install it from here:
VIE-L29C185B320
Installation guide can be found here on this thread Page 58.
Important points to consider:
Debrand your phone to C185
Install C185 stock marshmallow firmware
Install TWRP (yes, TWRP!)
Flash the B320 nougat beta package using TWRP
IMO, I don't recommend it. It is unstable (bluetooth doesn't work, settings sometimes hangs), and recovering back to marshmallow is another feat. Also, the most important thing is, the Nougat's cat easter egg doesn't work on this build .

I heard there's a problem in the beta version ,like the Bluetooth not working or something like that.

No problem with anything aside from a noticeably faster battery drain even on idle after updating to nougat beta, other than that everything is working fine.
Android 7 here and no problem at all.

For L29C185?
Hello
Sorry if this Q asked before
I ordered Oneplus 3t 128GB from online and its Chinese version a3010
Whst should i do when receive it? I mean did the Chinese version get update from OTA ?
If not wha i can to do how to change the phone from a3010 to European version a3003 to get OTA update ?
Both 3010 and 3003 Bands are supported in my country
Can you post step to move from 3010 to 3003 if that possible?
Regards
You will receive the same OTA's as the a3003 version. My model is a3010 and you can flash the same stock OOS. Just download from the official website or from xda, or wait for the OTA update to appear
As i understand from u a3010 version have OTA update too cuz i read before that chaina version is cutom Rom not stock ?
snowcat said:
You can download OxygenOS from the official download page for the 3T and flash it from recovery without unlocking your bootloader. Note that you must factory reset thereafter from recovery otherwise it will not boot. After you boot up, you will receive OTA updates just like an 3003 model would, given that you are in a supported region for the OTA; or you're connected to such VPN for an update to come early. The main difference with the Chinese model is that you will not have LTE-Advanced, also known as 4G+ or 4.5G in Turkey, but the 4G / LTE will remain.

The region specific data is in a separate encrypted partition from the operating system and cannot be changed. Also the rom is the same on all 3/3t, only difference is the BT, BL and modem firmware between 3 and the 3t. So your solution is to sell your A3000 and get a A3003 instead.

You can, but as it's the same on all versions of the 3 and also all versions of the 3t, it won't make any difference.
What's different in between all A300x is the encrypted factory partition which can only be changed by OnePlus service centers. This partition also stores the IMEI number.
Hey Folks,
I unlocked bootloader on my K20 pro CN.
I downloaded Indian fastboot 10.3.3.0
Ready to flash, just need to confirm one details.
I know I shouldn't clean and lock. But what do I select of the other two options? Clean all or save user data?
Anything else I should be careful about?
Thanks
Choose clean all since you are switching rom version, and don't forget to backup your personal data before flashing.

Thanks for the fast reply. Guess I'll give up nfc payment to flash the Indian rom . This Chinese rom has too much bloatware to deal with.....
With so many rom floating around , can I know where is the link to the official Indian rom that provide ota ?
And no locking of bootloader once flashed....right ??

Yes, you won't have NFC feature on India Rom. You Cannot lock your bootloader (choose clean all. Always check before clicking the flash button since clean all and lock is miflash default setting).
Here is the India Rom link:

Do it! Absolutely worth it, after dealing with CN rom for few weeks I am absolutely loving Indian Global. Lets hope we will get another global rom with Mi 9t Pro release at 20th where nfc will work as well
The waiting time to unlock bootloader is finally over......now that it's unlock. After flashing twrp, doing that power and volume button ...it keep getting to mi recovery page -_- , what am i doing wrong here.
Problem resolved, first boot after flashing twrp will have to be directly into twrp. Miui UI recovery will overwrite it if you dont do that....and after that, i flashed Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_02.04.2019.
Now everything i do that up Power + volume button , it lead to twrp.
