In all apps like whatsapp, snapchat and instagram the viewfinder is zoomed in and after taking a picture it is again normal. Does anyone know how to fix this?

With the attached apk..
The one on the play store is working for me
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.signalgarden.atomvisualizer
I think ArStickers is only for pixel at the moment unless someone can port it
I managed to get it running but the characters wouldn't display, apparently it's only working on Oreo.

Yes. 8.1 only. So maybe we will get it next Christmas...
With the latest ARcore for Nougat I was able to get ARstickers to somewhat work, I have to delete ARstickers Data Everytime I try to open AR Gcam but that's not that bad of a issue. Can't see the AR previews as well. I'm using unrooted completely stock Tmo Note 8 .
Last one is the actual picture
How to install and use ARcore stickers? I could not find them. Thanks.
Can Install, Can Use, Some wierd Bugs

Works for me on Galaxy Note 8 Oreo(8.0)
I first installed AR Core V2, then Google Camera and an Apk with AR Ornaments (Stikers)
When I opened Google Camera, the menu contains Last Jedi Stickers and three more sticker groups.
Bug: After Installing Google Camera, I couldn't access the share button ( <) on gallery. It force closes. Neither can i set pictures as wallpaper or Profile Pictures. So I have done a reset now everything works fine. I will try intsalling Google Camera once again later today.
Hope this helps

Working with Oreo CRC2 (8.0)

Snapdragon
I have this model COR-TL10 with the latest firmware available and there`s no EIS available in the video settings.
Anyone else with this phone that can confirm that we miss out on this feature?
EIS only works in 1080p & 720p mode. It is greyed out if you select any other resolution/mode.
Here's a screenshot of the option (at the bottom)

Here mine
COR AL00
I have same problem with EIS on COR-L29, I don't understand why it is missing, but in previous version I have this one and work nice.
I had this problem when I upgraded to android pie. I went back to 8.2 in the end to get stablisation back, and since the stable pie version wasen't stable. Just a tip, if you are using Oreo then you should be able to get 3k video stabilisation using Opencamera or Ultracorder (I use the latter). You just have to choose the resolution 3264 x 1840 and enable EIS. In my opinion it looks much better than stablised 1080p.
I still don't understand why it's removed from the camera Setting in Android Pie.

They must have disabled Camera2API or something because it doesn't work on 3rd party apps either. Maybe submit a bug report? I'm glad I went back to Oreo, there was too much stutter on Pie and I had frequent problems.
Anyone that have a working Google camera app port for the note 9 (exynos) running Android pie? Have tried many versions but all of them have the issue of overexposing when taking a picture with HDR enabled. Anyone else having the same issue or if someone have a fix for it?

Hello All,
I have recently bought a global version of MI 9 and everything was fine until one of the updates that I got.
1. I got the MIUI update with the June security patch (Android Version - 9 PKQ1.181121.001, MIUI version - MIUI GLOBAL VERSION 10.2.13 STABLE 10.2.13.0 (PFAMIXM))
2. Google photos shows as last updated on the same day (4.21.0.258856319)
Everything else is fine, but after I open Google Photos and open any photo, the photo just dims. Is hard to explain and hence attaching the video for details. Any ideas ??
Video can be found here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/vBvLXTAQXBiADV7j7
Uninstall Google photo update and check if the problem stay.
My Google photo version is 4.20 updated on 18 July.
I have the exact same issue on Mi 9 Global.
Downgraded Google Photos to 4.15.0.245117517 and the dimming issue when opening a photo went away.
Found the same problem with eu rom, downgrade to be Google Photos 4.17.0.249919200 is also good.
Need to wait until newer Google Photos version before trying again.
In display setttings/contrast use normal, adaptive and boost cause the dimming effect

It's not that issue. I've got the same since the last update and haven't touched anything. Apparently Google screwed up and thank God it's not only me.
Download the latest gphotos and disable any contrast settings and dimming does not accur
Issue is caused from Google Photo's app, not from build.
Just got 4.21 version of Google photo and the issue start like yours,so i decided to change the colors mode in display setting to standard and it seems to fix it somehow but not like as before, still little dimming or contrast adjustment happening.
I have unistalled updates in app settings, then update from playstore and now is ok
Using standard display will made screen look like washed out and not rich colors.
Removing the update + reinstalling fixed it.

I don't use Google photos but I do recall seeing people complain about this on another forum and a different phone... So looks like it's a bug in Google photos not miui.

It's due Google Photos now support Wide Color Gamut including P3 color mode, other android app just support sRGB. Therefore Google Photos can now differentiate more colors than before which is good, but our android versions don't support it now. It works flawlessly in Pixel phones but causing Yellowish/Green tint or dimming or contrasty in others. Don't worry GPhotos may roll back this update temporarilyhttps://www.xda-developers.com/google-photos-wide-color-image-support-buggy-photo-viewer/
You can find further about the news in above link
is there any way to have the stock camera app in the custom roms? i like using the stock cam app sometimes
This is what keeps me away from custom roms basically...
try installing miui camera app, i've seen in the magisk repository miui camera app for mi a2 and etc... give it a try and post feedback.
the next time i install a custom rom i'll try myself these options.

Did anyone tried anxcamera for redmi k20 pro? Which features are working and which are not.
Thank you
Tried this: https://github.com/XEonAX/ANXCamera.../ANXCameraUnity_133.WeeNecessarySolenodon.zip
and it worked exactly as intended. All seems to be working including 48mp feature, even the front cam filters. Lol check this in-door night shot.

Does the 3 camera swapping work? Also is there mechanical noise when swapping between the front and back cameras on custom roms with this camera?

As stated, everything works the way it should. All camera modes are accessable and no, it doesn't make mechanical sound. I'm on PE anyway with the immensity kernel august 8 build.

It can do 960fps slowmotion, unsure of 4k60fps I can only find 1080p60fps
Also trying to bump thread, after a good camera app with no force close issues is hard these days :crying:
Does anyone have a more recent experience with anx? Have the issues (force closes) been resolved? Is the quality comparable to stock on miui? Or does everyone use gcam instead?
Thanks in advance.
