1) Change the region to Indonesia, some regions have restricted max volume (like most of EU)

[Q] Battery/Sound Problem CM7 Apocalypse

IF YOU DONT LIKE TALKING TRASH , DONT WANT DETAIL ! JUST LOOK AT THOSE RED WORDS ! THOSE ARE MAIN PROBLEM NOT TRASH!!!!tHANKS
Hello...
I've Been installed the first custom ROM which take my eye thats cm7 Apocalyse Final Two Weeks Ago .
I've wipe all data , dalvik cache , and everything else the tutorial on the thread tell me to do . Seems i'm a begineer to Custom Roms
But ,
It was a nice success on the install .
Then i install those apps ...games (HVGA) , and social apps ...with my charger plugged in .
I Unplug the Charger Then i Open Facebook or browser internet for some apps ....the battery drain from 100% -64% in just 2 minutes . I've focusing on the battery percentage on the icon , the battery seems really decreasing ! 99-94-77-76-75-74...and so on
Either , when i'm playing games like PES2012 it was more worst , after 30minutes or 1hour turn up to be 64%
And I Found those Percentage Of the Battery Drain are certainly same everytime i unplug the charger , meaning the drain rate is same ?
Next , The problem is regarding to sound , when i plugged in charger , no sound , when a facebook notification no sound ..when i play some song or play game , i have to press the vol+ button and set to the highest volume so that i can hear , let me give you an example :I was playing BIg Bang - Tonight ....i was on 4/10 Media Volume , Then i can't hear , I increase to 8/10 barely 9/10 still barely 10/10 too loud , loud and clear. WTF?!
Even the Ringtones , people call me , and the phone just infront of me but on a Towel , i can't hear ?!
Then my friends call another friends beside me telling tht i'm not picking up the phone !
So i had to set to Largest volume tooBut the StoCk Rom sound would be loud or even too Loud (DONT ASK ME TO GET STOCKLITE WTF , I DOES'RT LIKE GINGERBREAD LAYOUT !)
Here are My Problem ,
I 'm not here to Complain regarding this ROMS , Seems this is a really perfect ROM , i just asking for solution or whether guys from you are having the same problem like me ? Then i'll give up .
Somebody PLS?

Let me get this straight, even at the lowest volume it's too loud for you? I'm not sure if anyone would make an app to make the volume go lower... here are some links though..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=opotech.finevolumev2&hl=en
PowerAMP has a pre amp slide to tweak the volume.
Hope this helps.
Return it and get a different one. Make sure you test it before you actually take it home with you. On my own device, everything is just fine, maybe a slight yellow tint, but nothing a little bit of white balance can't fix, and it's far better than my sister's yellow tint Nexus 5.

Open up the equalizer and turn down all frequencies, it will help decrease the overall volume a bit more.

[Q] Nexus 6 Audio Questions....

I just recently bought a Nexus 6, and not to long after I bought it my phones volume started to get very low. When I was on a phone call and switched to speaker, the phone starts the audio off as low, but then gets higher after a few seconds. Now when I listen to music or watch netflix, the audik starts off high at full volume, but then goes very low as if the phone had a Automatic Leveler. Is there anyone way to fix this ?

you are on stock? i didnt experience it on stock, but did on aosp. on aosp its a bug, that was fixed by a few developers.
Im pretty shocked by the nexus 6 speakers.
1. Speaker phone only works on the top speaker.
2. Anything from the lowest volume till about 2/3rds is nicley scaled then it just jumps in loudness in the last 3 to 4 clicks.
3. The stock sound is shocking bad ! Sounds like they forgot to balance bass and treble.
4. My headphone jace only seems to work with some jacks, an aux lead refuses to work in all 3 of my work vans and my old HTC headsets but works with iphone headsets and some of my aony headsets ( these all worked in my N5 )
5. Where the freekin' EQ ! Really google cant make a EQ letalone a good camera app !!!!
I am on stock. No root, no unlocked bootloader.
The funny thing is, when in place my hand over the front camera lens, and curved around the front, the volume goes back up as if there was a auto level function. If I take my hand off of that speaker, it goes back down because I am in a quite room. Something's not right with that..
I'm not rooted and I have similar issues. When I get phone calls or texts the volume starts out really low then gets high and I can't stand it. Seems to have just started doing this. Same thing when I'm talking to someone, I get a call, I answer it and I can barely hear them then 1 or 2 seconds later it's fine. Driving me crazy. Would love to get this fixed.

Headphones volume is extremely low

I have a big problem with the Mi A2 - it's really quiet using headphones (through the stock adapter). It's not headphones problem. Now, the question is, is that because of the software or maybe because of the crappy adapter? I need the people from EU country to speak here because maybe it us because of the stupid EU law.
Noticed this too. You get a slight improvement with viperfx and master gain /xloud , but that's all I found out.
Now, even if I am a pretty solid fan of Jack + high end headphones, we are in 2018, moving to BT headphones with Bt 5.0 is the way to go. On this matter. Having aptx advertised and not able to use it without build.prop tweak is a more serious matter IMHO ??
Still Loving my mia2 everyday more tho. This thing is getting faster everyday and having the governor set to ondemand + touch boost disabled make it fast as hell and crazy battery performance (getting solid 5-6 hours SOT)
Grüß,
H
Same problem.... headphones were pretty loud on my old Mi4... now its really low. :/
What do you mean with "touch list disabled"?
Thanks!

I love my Mi A2 too but I swear I can't listen to the music because the volume is so damn low. While you are rooted, could you send this file - system/etc/mixer_paths_tasha.xml and this system/etc/mixer_paths.xml? I am sure low volume can be fixed by editing these files.
They can be stored in this place too - vendor/etc

Where is this option?
Solution?
This problem is something I struggle with too. Might it be the usb type c adapter to aux which is the problem? Can anyone try with a different adapter and report back? I am using Xiaomi mi in ear pro headphones. I need to use max volume to have a volume which I consider medium.

I just got my Mi A2 and the audio volume seems very low when Bluetooth paired to my cars stereo. Maybe halve the volume of my old LG phone. Very weird since the audio volume thru the Mi A2's built-in speaker is VERY loud.
Stock dongle's output is slow. Get some other 3rd party and sound will get louder. I have bought and its sound is quite louder than stock's one.
Sent from my Mi A2 using Tapatalk
I just got google's newest dongle, it is good. The volume, while not overwhelming, is certainly loud enough with music. Dynamic Range seems quite improved also. I figured for 12 bucks, not much to lose. But turned out improvement for sure.
Mi A2 audio quality
I am currently using the stock dongle and mi piston fresh earphone on my Mi A2 for music. The audio quality is really poor. There's noise and audio is muddy. Is anyone experiencing this and is there a way to improve the audio quality?
I used the headphones of the leeco le Max 2 type c and it sounds wonderful ... but when using the adapter for my headphones Xiaomi sounds very slowly

This doesn't help at all. You'll still end up being stuck with SBC or AAC codec.
I recently converted my phone to Mi 6x and flashed AospExtended v5.8 Rom. Now LDAC is working perfectly with my sony wh1000xm2 headphones and volume output from stock dongle has increased to normal levels. So finally I'm able to use my MI A2 for listening music and I don't need to carry my old Moto X play with me just to use spotify.
I don't think problem is low quality of stock dongle. After all it is just simple adapter and it shouldn't have any or very little difference on audio quality (audiophiles may have different opinions). And I also had very low volume via bluetooth on stock rom.
I'd really love to use the stock rom because the stock camera is much better for day to day use than these buggy gcam ports, but low audio output makes it impossible. Mi a2 is great phone with ****ty firmware and I don't have any high hopes for Xiaomi to fix these bugs. Maybe in the future when development really kicks in we got rom wich is capable for music and photos.

So can someone confirm if this is a problem in the type-c to 3.5mm adapter? If i buy a usb-c earphone or a third party adapter the audio will be loud?
I'm really waiting for someone at XDA to comment on :

Question mi11 pro Ear calling Speaker problem

hi everybody ,
after almost 1 year with my mi11 pro miui 12 , im facing a problem - i cant hardlly hear on my Ear calling Speaker problem ...the top of the item (not the speakers)!
its turn till the max volume , also cheacked on the settings , but i cant hardlly hear .
The problem of the very weak sound only on the ear side , not the speakers .
i didnt upgrade yet to miui 13 , waiting for twrp .
can someone help me with this case?
thnx
So basically calls are quiet? Yeah, my MI 11 is similar. People said, try cleaning the speaker grille.
Or, I've also seen a tip where you turn on Mono audio. Haven't tried that one.
But call volume is also awful on OnePlus.
Call volume in my experience:
Google pixels (3a, 4a): 11/10. Super loud, super clear.
Samsung (s7, note 9, note 10+): 10/10
Xiaomi: 6/10
OnePlus (7 pro, 9r, 9 pro): 1/10 (its absolutely awful)
I had the same problem on an s7 edge and on another low-end cell phone it wasn't loud, so I cleaned it with a child's toothbrush and everything was resolved
