not possible, at least that's what happened to me, I purchased a dual sim card tray for my note 9 and the phone only reads 1 sim card.

No it won't work, you would need a dual sim variant for that.

SIM card question

I got a new phone and I want to set my note 3 up for my nephew. He currently has an lg nitro. Can I just out his SIM card in the phone and boot it up? Or do I have to take it to an AT&T store and have them change his number to the new phone?

I'm not familiar with the Nitro but if it a 4G lte phone and takes the same size sim you can just pop it in and go.
It is a 4g let and I believe it has a microsim

Dual sim issue still present?

Hi guys, just wanted to check if any of you are using this either in india or in the UK on o2?
Had the mi note (not pro - the sd801 version) and in most cases the dual sim worked but not with certain carriers in the UK,italy and india. Basically sim 2 would just not work - xiaomi advised it was a result of having only one imei. A lot of international carriers don't allow a single imei to be used by two different sim cards (whether the same carrier or different carrier) more reading here

Is this issue still present in the note pro?

Thanks jazz, are you able to use both ee and o2 sim cards to receive calls/data etc without having to physically swap the Sims?

Yes was on holiday no signal with o2 so bought P&G EE and when I was a good reception area could use both without issues that I was aware of.
I used India SIM in India with UAE SIM on roaming. Worked fine for me. Below is observation. Any questions?!
UAE SIM - 1
- Phone worked in roaming throughout - incoming calls & SMS
India AIRTEL SIM - 2
- Phone worked in roaming in another state
- Data 2g worked in roaming in another state - I subscribed only to 2g on first 2 days
- Phone worked in normal in native state
- Data (2g & 3g) worked in normal in native state - I subscribed to 3g after 2g was finished

Does the 920C work with ATT?

I am looking at buying the unlocked 920c variant. Does it work att LTE? All I need to do is pop in the nano Sim from att?
It should work fine according to this website, http://willmyphonework.net
Looks like it works on 3 different bands

You might get some issues with 4g/LTE bands.

enable dual sim?

Hello, somebody know if the model N9600 could use dual sim if I bought a dual sim tray? Or flashing dual sim firmware could enable that functionality?
I check specs and say it's dual sim capable
Is the hardware there for second sim?

So that means you can't simply use a dual SIM adapter.

Why don't you be the guinea pig if you want dual SIM? The hardware might not be there.

Where did you get it from.
Can't seem to see the FD variant anywhere (?)
Possibly no use of FD now, mine is FZ, and it's called a hybrid SIM now

The new Naming is indeed FZ and it doesn't seem to show in my country yet.
Thanks mate

Yep, the specs page doesn't show on the French site but all models are g973fz.....
So I guess the hybrid model is the default in France.
I will call them tomorrow to be sure.
