Kill Google Play services and performance settings

Hello, I have just installed Cyanogenmod on my LG L90 D405 and I am so happy with it! But now I am thinking about the battery and performance. So I have two questions and it would be awesome if somebody could give me some tips. Firstly, I want to know what is the most effective way to kill google play services, because I want to save more battery. My second question is about the performance settings in Cyanogenmod. What are the bests for battery saving, performance etc, for our device?
Kind regards!
Interesting question about the performance setting! I use the standard, because my knowledge I to small...
In sysyem/priv-app delete Prebuiltgmscore. Then in system/app, delete the 3 apps I have checked off.

[Q] About memory managment and spacecreleted problems in Samsung galaxy ace

My question to all devs that space and memory management is biggest problem in galaxy ace...
So why all devs not create ROMs which along with high space saving Roms...
I test each rom ..cyanogenmod also..it also has space problem my request to all galaxy ace devs that you should work on memory problem also???
There are several methods which basically add space from your ext sdcard into the mix.
Have you tried them?
Some roms offer this in their setup.
L Speed and Link2SD
For a better performance and battery life use:
L Speed[ROOT]
No background process to eat up valuable RAM
Contains tweaks packed in a nice UI
Shows tweaks compatible with only your phone
Regularly Updated
For more internal space use Link2SD
For better battery use Greenify with Xposed Framework

How's P9 memory management?

I had the Honor 7, it couldn't keep background apps open at all. I returned the phone quicker than you can say memory management.
How's the P9 about that? My current LG can keep background apps open for more than a day.
First to say it is depending on your usage. If you frequent a lot of apps during the day it is likely and also necessary that some will be killed on every phone! For me the P9 seems to be a little more aggressive than my old Z3 with the sony concept rom, but still ok. It uses about 2 GB of RAM on average, whereas the Z3 used 1.5 GB. I think this is due to EMUI whereas the Z3 was nearly Stock Android.
it's not ram management issue , it's a software feature . you can choose which application to keep running from battery settings , protected application
EMUI is way better than MIUI in terms of memory management. Plus, you can always lock important applications that you don't want the OS to kill.

General Improving the S21 Ultra

Hi All,
Don't post that often but wanted to post some advice on improvements you can make to the S21 and Ultra, I have the S21 Ultra but recently purchased the S21 as I wanted something smaller.
Was pleasantly surprised how good the standard S21 is, great battery life and photos along with the form factor.
Anyway, I was getting annoyed with a number of things on the S21 Ultra and was close to selling it. I then took about researching some of the settings and the phone is now fantastic, managed all of this without root
Anything not used often put into Deep Sleep (battery settings), this also limits abuse by some apps with background activity like facebook who collect various system information and all sorts of other data to used for analysis etc
Turned off 5g and 4K resolution (Biggest battery hogs) but left at Adaptive refresh
Turn off "Improved accuracy" in location settings (will only drain your battery and gather more info to send to google etc)
Stopped using Chrome as it a battery hog plus a privacy / advertising nightmare - Found Brave which is fantastic, chromium based and a lot faster and stops most ads. You will be shocked how many trackers, ads and non essential cookies are blocked that don't impact the experience . Tweak Brave and it's awesome, I now use it on all my personal and work phones/laptops and synch settings between them. Set as default and disabled Chrome
Debloat - Remove a lot of the Samsung rubbish that slows down your phone using ADB (Doesn't require root) https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/what-to-debloat-from-adb-s21-ultra.4222547/ - Only debloat what you don't need, some are overkill
Switched my launcher to a new one called Niagara launcher - So nice to use and a lot cleaner and less resource intensive the OneUI
The display was driving me crazy - Natural was a bland mess of Grey, Vivid as too bright. Once again with ADB you can change the display to use Android defaults . Adobe Photo is perfect for me.https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/color-saturation-accuracy.4191115/#post-84400787
Doesn't take long to do but this is a different phone for both performance and battery (Accubattery is stating 8 - 10 SOT), will report back in a few days once it's bedded in more.
Battery life after doing this with Exynos is now great, 5 hours SOT with 48% left
A couple of small charges whilst in the car
Great tips!
Thanks.
Anyone have safe debloat list of apps? I don't want to mess...
This is pretty good and what I used: https://krispitech.com/galaxy-s20-bloatware/
