Hey forum hope all of you are fine. I need a suggestion. I am using honor play and EMUI version is 8.2.0.131. Build no is COR-L29. I am facing an issue regarding notification panel. When I optimise the recent opening tabs by swipe up and hold gesture, the notification appears i.e your phone is in optimal condition or some MB of memory is free now. At the same time after some delay i. e., 1 sec, when I scroll down the notification panel it sometimes stuck in the midway of the screen and does not completely open. But when i scroll down the notification panel after > 1 sec delay then it works fine. What can be the issue? I have factory reset the device but the issue is still there. I think it is a bug specially when optimization occurs with the built-in memory manager. It should be resolved in the next update. Moreover when i optimise the memory using optimiser shortcut that is available in the widget, it works fine.

Hello,
I've just bought the P9, and so far have been happy with it.
One thing that I haven't been able to fix, compared to my previous Galaxy S4, is that the LastPass quick-access entry on the pull-down notification bar aren't permanent. On the S4, when I started the app, it installed a quick-access entry on the notification bar. On the P9, when I start the app, it is also installed on the notification bar. When I press the power button to put the phone into standby, and then use the fingerprint sensor to regain access to the phone, the quick-access entry is gone.
I suspect that it is a security feature, but I can't find a way to ensure that the quick-entries are not removed. I don't know if it is an Android-M or Huawei feature.

It's the derp huawei UI, you can either lock it from the recents display by pulling it down or going into the device manager and set it from there
You need to add the lastpass app to the ignore battery optimization and allow it to run on screen off. it's buried in the settings under Apps if i remember correctly.
Thanks PsymonDK,
That was the problem. The battery optimization was shutting down the app.
1) No notifications show if I close application, I have the reopen the app in order to see the messages. On other phones, the messenger app didn't have to be running in the background in order to receive them.
2) if I receive multiple messages from someone, eg on messenger, it only shows the latest message, on stock android 4.4 it showed

Now it's just the very latest message, with the number next to it. in all messaging apps, it's annoying, how can I fix this? It's something to do either Android 6 and miui, because there's no issue on stock 4.4
1. This is an issue with MIUI in my experience. You would need to add the apps in the exceptions of battery saver, auto start (in security) and lock the app (pull the app down in multitasking screen and tap lock). That should resolve it.
2. Have you tried two finger gesture on the notification. Pull the notification of the message down with 2 fingers or try expanding the notification horizontally with 2 fingers (move one finger from centre to right and one from centre to left). One of the gesture should work depending on your ROM.
Same issue I got, hope they fix it soon

Hi, I bought my Oneplus 3T, and I have a problem that I also had with my Oneplus One. When I switch off vibrations my heads up dissappeared. The solution I found for my OPO was with a Custom Rom, activating the new Nougat priority feature. The problem is that this feature is not available in Oxygen OS, is there any solution to solve the problem?
I am not sure if this is the exact same issue or not but I did a search and this came up first. Anyway, I noticed I wasn't getting heads up notifications for gmail or textra. The icon would show in the status bar but it would not peek (show the message for a couple seconds with the option to reply). Anyway, I enabled System UI tuner by long pressing on the gear icon when you pull down the notification shade. Then when system ui tuner is enabled scroll to the bottom of your settings and go into system UI tuner. In there enable power notification controls under "other". Now you can go into any app's notification settings and turn peeking on. These are the app system settings located at Settings>apps>gmail (or whatever app you want). By default on my phone gmail and textra were set to "application controlled" (or something similar) which doesn't allow peeking. I just pushed it up a notch which allows peeking or heads up notification and now when I get a notification it will show up on top for several seconds and I can choose to reply whatever.
I am running OOS 4.0.3
Hello, since I upgraded to 4.1.3 I'm getting a strange behavior when expanding status bar in Lock screen to check notifications.
I can't swipe left\right to dismiss them right away or press any action button like mark read\reply on messages or even tap on them, but after some time (not sure if triggered by something else) it suddenly works again.
It's like anything I tap is just ignored, like there is something in foreground which don't let me click them, except for the status bar title which I can always swipe top\bottom as usual.
I didn't install anything new, I just have a classic setup with 4.1.3+Franco kernel+magisk with magisksu+5 tiles quicks\center clock, working fine before.
So in the past couple of weeks or so my notifications have started acting up.
90% of the time they are minimised and cannot be expanded.
5% of the time they are minimised but I can drag down to expand them.
Then 5% of the time they are acting normal and are expanded.
Anyone know how to fix this? I've gone through the notifications settings and can't figure it out.
This is affecting all apps and all notifications.
I am on emui 9.0.0.925.
The only recent change to my phone is that I installed a work profile that is required by my work to access work emails and apps.
I don't think I have updated emui recently but I can't remember.
I get rid of this problem on my Samsung galaxy A7. Hope will help you out too.
1. Go to App Notifications
2. Click on the application which you want to unminimise.
3. You can see different more buttons. Click them one by one, you will find an option notification style.
4. Here you uncheck "silent and minimise" by clicking any other option like "sound" or "silent".
