that facebook apk work?

So far it is a very nice rom in my use of it. Tested camera, flash, gps, speakers, notification lights, many apps (including installing facebook app and logging in, but not actually using it more than that), etc. So far so good. Everything seems to be working. Thank you very much msfkonsole for making it available.
(Edit: backlights on soft buttons are working fine; no problem.)

For 5.6.5, the edge touch bug fix kernel is the default, but for 5.6.6, it is a separate zip ?

Fantastic ROM. I have been using CM 12.1 and post that I used CM 13. But this is better than all of them [including MIUI 7.1]
But Facing the following problems:
1. No Transparent Status Bar
2. Weather not working - neither on the status bar, nor on the lock screen
3. Cannot change the Lock Screen Wallpaper through settings
Please help to fix this

1. The Status bar is definitely transparent on my phone. (Did you do a clean install?)
2. I also haven't gotten the weather to work.
3. Lockscreen wallpaper does not change for me either.
I'd also like to be able to adjust the soft buttons backlight brightness like I could in CM12.1.
But all those are only very minor problems, and this is proving to be a very good rom for me.

Edit: I just installed latest 5.6.6 using Philz Touch with rom in root folder of external SD card. No problem.

Try this to get the newest version 5.6.6: https://basketbuild.com/devs/resurrectionremix/dior You will also need this kernel patch: https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Msf_Console&dl=Msf_Console/RR/kernel/edgefix_20160403.zip. Just flash the patch after your flash the rom.

Another little bug. Flashlight not showing up in the Quick Setting Panel in v5.6.6 with edge touch bug fix kernel update.
Edit: reboot solved that problem, but I don't know why it happened in the first place.

I can't give any "official" suggestion. I first just installed and wiped cache & dalvik cache. But then I had some weird things happening (strange lag), so I wiped it and started over with a clean install (wipe, flashed 5.6.6 rom, flashed the patched kernel, reboot). YMMV, but that's how it worked for me.

The link is from post #9 on page one by nz_mincemeat (https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Msf_Console&dl=Msf_Console/RR/kernel/edgefix_20160403.zip). You just download that zip file, and then flash it from recovery just like you would do with a new rom. It replaces the boot.img ("kernel") and one file, and that solves the edge scrolling problem with the 5.6.6 rom. No need to wipe or do a fresh install when flashing that patch.

Hmm, strange. This file, edgefix_20160403.zip, right?
I'm using CWM based Philz Touch Recovery, but I don't know if that is the issue or not. If you were able to flash the rom, I can't see why you can't flash the edgefix update.
I'm having a few weird troubles though. Twice today I had the screen freeze for a time, and then when it came back, it was jumping around as if an invisible finger was touching all over the screen randomly. I had to force a reboot both times. That's not a minor bug. Also, I've had it turn on in my pocket and start to do pocket-dialing. At least I can hear it when that starts. Is there a setting to eliminate pocket dialing?
Edit: Ah, I see that 20160406 is released. Maybe I'll give that a try and see if it still has those problems.

I try but camera didn't work and get over heat it, then I wipe and install over android 7 and not says that the is no is installed after installation . Some one get success installing the Rom

Just swipe to right , don't worry about warning no os installed . You have to be on Android 7 firmware of course . I installed it on zui 3.1 . Everything looks good , camera works as on stock zui . Several Chinese apps which I couldn't uninstall even with uninstall system apps . When I back to Los 14.1 I had some issue with storage in TWRP ( about 10 GB ) . Format data solved it . Google play works good . I installed it by Google installer

u need to install stock zui nougat

[6.0.1][All Z5 SERIES] Miui 8 ROM

To bypass nianrom checker screen only z5 users install this, https://mega.nz/#!f1RClYiY!bTOBS1KKvQj4BR2Eu4HarETyEKiR5aacI9QeBTDpO7A, then setup rom as usual then apps etc...
then after install source link for device then with the setup rom you have just done on the other file (mega) u can unlock your screen go to taskbar then force stop nian rom checker now in order to do that press the green plus button on the pop up then go to task bar again then slide down on app go to app settings press force stop it will stop bothering you till you unlock screen again. Then install playstore magisk etc now install system uninstaller then uninstall the chinese letter n download symbol next to it app that (nian rom checker) it will not bother you again forever however you must not restart device as it will look for nian rom checker which you have deleted n will not boot so you will need to restore it then reboot do what you need to do then boot up again n delete (same process)........all of this just so you dont have to pay four dollars

Ok so first of all download and install the rom From mega.... and setup how you would usually do with a rom forget the SIM card not working...after you have linked your account and installed everything now download and dirty flash the rom from Google drive, now that's it SIM card should be fixed then you will get a rom.nian.checker pop up you must in the app press the green button so it doesnt cause issues for the next part press the recent app icons whilst on that and slide down or up to app settings then disable it or force stop it

I did what you said. When i flashed miui that i downloaded from MEGA it flashed rom like in 1 minute.Then i pressed reboot. It stuck on sony logo.

Why is it constantly rebooting?

My Z5 E6653 stuck with SONY logo(rom from mega)!!! How to flash the boot.img? I copied the boot.img to the flashtool-x10flasher_lib, and "fastboot flash boot boot.img", said okay, but then it's still stuck with SONY logo

I have flashed with put the boot.img in the folder flasherx10_lib that is in disk C, Flashtool, then keep pressing volume rise in the mobile, connect the mobile to computer, blue LED, keep shilft in the folder, right click in mouse, open powershell here, type fastboot flash boot boot.img. when it says okay it's flashed
but that did not work for me, it's still stuck in sony logo

I felt like a piece of **** for not thanking you for your hard work and effort. I just leeched . So sorry about that. Been running pretty smooth. However sometimes my phone won't wake up immediately. But that could be edxposed or gravity box or both altogether.

Hey, thank you for putting this together. Does it come with the stock kernel or arter97's by the way?
Also, would you consider making a odex flashable zip as well? I have SuperR’s donated kitchen as welll, but I don’t know if you had to do anything special regarding encryption or anything. If not, I will try to make an Odex zip myself.

I agree Odex is just as important to free up space and optimization I only did this for easier customizing. Just unpack system.img and set option to meta then build a zip.

Is there any way you can make this rom work with substratum? So we can finally have full theming? Thanks again for your contribution.

Idk how you're having difficulty with the cut and dry instructions he has given. TBH if you can't figure it out you shouldn't be rooting your phone.

Step By Step Instruction
Hey Guys, I am new to razer phone 2 ... i just got that 1 week back.
Somebody will please tell me step by step instruction how to boot this rom, Razer phone 2 is onlye device for daily use.
So just want the clear vision how to do boot this rom.
Is this rom is rooted or require root to boot this rom. Please reply me ASAP.

I have had this phone for 4 weeks said I wasn't going to do this firmware flashing this time, I lasted 3 whole days and have flashed every gsi ROM there is lol

I really liked resurrection remix everything works well except Bluetooth audio, it connects but does not play any audio through device
