Hi, I just saw when I'm downloading apps from the play store that "accelerating download" or "accelerating" is gone. My download speed now is capped to 200kbps, whereas in CN ROM I go up to 3mbps when downloading apps.
Where can I set that "accelerating" feature by CN ROM? Can someone help me with this. I'm on EU 8.11.15

You need factory reset.
For me its worked
I have a Redmi Note 4 and was able to download the apk directly from Netflix: http://mcdn.netflix.com/us/mobile/android/1142/netflix-3.1-41-1142-release.apk
It seems like this has something to do with new DRM guidelines and was caused by google. Loads of people on the internet with unrooted or unlocked devices (even Nexus phones) say that they can't access the app anymore on Play Store.

If you haven't changed anything from your stock system (like unlocking the bootloader and/or rooting the device), it sure as hell should work. That is no new information, though.

Hello guys,
I just received my brand new Mi pad 4 Plus from Xiaomi store on AliExpress.
I came with Global rom and I can install every app I want, except for Netflix.
Google App Store says the device is not compatible.
I also tried to download the apk from netflix site but after installing and running the app, a message comes up saying "Device not compatible"
How can I solve this?
Thanks for your help.
Hi. I' ve bien trying differents apks and don't work
I have the regular mi pad 4 and I can't install Netflix either, so.. its not just your device.
You need find version 6.8 or earlier to work. I have got to work with version 6.8.0 build 2 8943 28943 do google search for it. Don't forget to turn off Auto-update on Playstore as it will update to latest version and not work.

Hello,
I use k20 pro with unlocked china rom, had the same issue, was affecting apps (chinese playstore) too. Solved it by installing manually, a newer version of google playstore and services, from xda forums (links). Now both stores run fine.
Have a nice day
I have been using a Mi11 with CN ROM at 12.0.19.0 and have generally been happy with it even in North America. There were some rumors a while ago the at the 12.0.22.0 CN ROM update prevented the use of Google Services. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks in advance.
