Quick questions.

Hello everyone.
First of all, I would like to say that this forum and this community are one of the bests I've ever encountered before.
After that, I've got a couple of questions that would help me finaly buy this Diamond...
1°) Using a lot my email account, and knowing it's a Windows Live one, will it work on the 'Mail' tab in TF3D? Or do I have to go all the way through programs==> Windows Live? Will it work as a standard Windows Live Mail like on my Pc?
2°) Also I would like to know if a French version supports Greek characters for texting.

Edit : Also, being a fan of Microsoft, I own a Zune, & a Xbox 360. Is there any interaction possible? Especially with the Zune Software on my PC (Replaces WMP11 for my Zune device and is a kick ass) ?

Answer 1) I use the Live function of my phone, and it integrates fully with the TouchFlo 3D so yes, it works as normal email just settings are done through the Live application (which is brought up when you go into normal email settings anyway).
Answer 2) I can't say for French roms but I have a English ROM Diamond and the Greek letters are on there, just stashed way down on the symbols list.
I hope this helps. I don't know if you can Greek as a proper keyboard on an English or French ROM, but if you find out you can please let me know as this would be nice for me too.

Hello all X1-ians ,
Me just bought this X1 gadget but the Chinese software was not pre-loaded
Hope there is someone whom is able to help me and tell me where how I can download the Chinese software (read & write) for Free. Many thanks in advance

Yeah, I am looking for this one since I brought my X1 from UK and the CE-Star I got is not the bundle one.

CE Star
I have installed CE-Star program and it works fine. I have the U.S. version of Sony X1, so if I open Opera and IE to view chinese website, it will not show the chinese characters. But once I installed it. I can see it fine.
My main concern is once this software installed. All my other applications like Skype, messenger...etc shows chinese language instead of English. There is no way I set it back to just read english, even though remove ce-star from memory, it will still show the chinese characters which is not cool.
Does anyone know how fix that ?
I just want this problem to allow me to turn it on and view and write chinese characters but not to change the language on the other programs to show chinese.

Just change yr regional setting to USA or UK.

Cut the crap, ChinesePlus.
For viewing, that's good enough.
For writing, use TouchPal, but need to get the license to active the multiple language input.

It's for Korean font, but if you substitute with a Chinese font instead of malgun.ttf it still worked.

languages on Tablet, Japanese, and Samsung Keyboard

Hi!
I got the Samsung Keyboard yesterday for £19.99 and have a question about languages.
My tablet is a UK one from Staples and has English and many European langauges, some that I do not know, but I guess Eastern European, and also Korean.
I know I can add Japanese from the Market and have Simeji and Simeji Classic.
I want to be able to switch languages using the LANG button to the right of the space bar on the keyboard, but add-on languages do not show.
Would the only way to make this key function for Japanese be to flash my tablet with a rom that has Japanese built in? I guess so.
I do know how to change languages by pressing in the input area but just wanted to get full finctionality out of the keyboard.

Not sure if it'll help with the keyboard problem, but try "OpenWnn plus" for Japanese entry - I find it much better than simeji (predictive text especially)

OpenWnn plus is nice but it can't be activated from the Samsung Dock keyboard.
If I install English English, American English, French etc, then pressing the language key on the keyboard dock, will scroll trough the installed languages, but it does not work for add ons.

Help needed with my google hub

Wondered if anybody can help...two members of my family can say ok google and it comes up in United Kingdom British but whenever i say it comes up in American English. How do i change this to British? Had no luck so far.

Maybe their phones are on British and yours at American ? I had min on dutch and when i switched my language of my phone to English , my Google Home went in English....

Try going into the home app on your phone. There is a setting for the assistant language.

Portuguese on Smart Display

Hello,
Anyone knows when Portuguese will be available to Google Smart Display ? I got a JBL Link View and it's messy the English among others Home and Mini in the house speaking Portuguese!
