Hey does anyone have a one click root method for the moto x 2014 (XT1092)? Don't wanna manually root it coz I'd probably stuff something up, thanks.
Currently, there is no one click root method for moto x 2014, and as I can see, there won't be any.
The ONLY way for us to root is by unlocking the bootloader, installing twrp and root using supersu or something like that.
Kingroot brags about that they can root android 5.1 but when you try with our phone, you get failed/there is no strategy method available.
As far as I know, you have xt1092 so you are able to unlock your bootloader. I have verizon's xt1096 and I can't do that , and probably won't be at all.

Have you tried getting Motorola to unlock your xt1096? It seems there have been quite a few people successfully unlocking their carrier branded Moto X 2014. I can't comment on whether or not it is true since I have XT1095, but I'm just saying......

Well, I've done that already a year ago... Motorola made it available to unlock the xt1096 bootloader.
I moved to Galaxy s7 already so it's not relevant for me but thanks!

This is a thread for rooting the xt1944-2, but due to the similarities between the two variants, you may find this beneficial. https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e5/how-to/root-magisk-moto-e5-xt1944-2-norarow-t3824856

Has anyone been able to successfully unlock the bootloader on the Motorola moto g6 forge? I know it is a variant of the moto g6 play but for cricket wireless. My ex has the exact same phone and hers already has android 9 on it. Mine is still stuck on 8 and the security patch is from may 2018. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to unlock the bootloader see

Is the only sure way to know if it can be unlocked.
