Hello Guys,
I have been facing a serious problem ever since I updated my Mi3 to latest developer version. My 3g internet isn't working. I have tried all the possible trouble shooting like reinstalling the OS both stable and developer, clearing cache lot of times, reinserted the sim couple of times. I even tried to flash a lower version but it didn't help.
Initially i was on custom LP with extended partition on TWRP recovery and everything was working flawlessly. I reverted back to stock partition and now using CWM recovery with miui 6 developer version.
On the other hand the wifi works perfectly no issues with it. Not sure whether its a bug or i am missing something.
I would highly appreciate if a solution can be found and i can start using my internet data.
Thanks

offcourse, even formatted internal partition and trying flashing using mi flashtool (fastboot rom) give me same result,.
I have exactly the same issue. I tried to install many different MIUI ROMs (China Stable, Global Stable, Global Dev, Xiaomi.eu), but I wasn't able to fix it. I've also recently had my phone serviced and as a result, the screen has been replaced, but even that hasn't solved the problem. I'd like to note that (in my case) the issue started to occur after installing LineageOS 15.1 - I haven't noticed this problem before.
Try flashing the lazy flasher.zip after installing the miui rom.
I first experienced this bug after I installed superior os 25/10/2018 build. The bug was that the network signal keeps getting disconnected and reconnected automatically at random times, and I couldn't set the network manually. So i thought that it was a rom bug, and i went back to miui, but what i found is that bug was now also in MIUI , and i cant fix it. I tried flashing miui 10, latest version of 9 via twrp and also with mi-flash tool (fastboot) ,but the bug is there on every rom, i cant find a way to fix it.
I googled and found that someone else had the same problem in some other xiaomi device and there i noticed the term - "somehow RIL is getting stuck & re-initializing (restarting)" , <- maybe this is the problem .
Can anyone help me fix this RIL thingy please ? :crying:
My Mi5 lately has random moments where the mobile signal is randomly disappearing. The problem start occurring since last week on Lineage OS 14.1. I've look around and found that this caused by incorrect step during ROM flashing or wrong firmware version when flashing.
So i tried clean flash another ROM today (Syberia) using 8.10.18 dev firmware (from the Syberia thread), and the problem persisted, I still get that random mobile network missing. Is there any way to fix this?
Hello guys..as i said on another post i bought a mi 9 lite for fun, just rooting and playing around with customs ROMs etc...
As i was using phone i realised random reboots for no reason and continuously..
That is happening even with custom rom or stock official ROM..
I didn't known what to do.. so i roaled back to android 9 and re installed all updates one by one from mi flash tool with fast boot roms but nothing changed...
Also i tried to flash from twrp persist faulder hopping better results but nothing changed..
Now im using stock rom from Xiaomi.eu..
Anyone faced random reboots on someway?
Is it possible facing a hardware problem?
