Since a couple of weeks my Zuk z2 Pro turns self off and you only see light blue led. I can turn the phone on and it works without problems.
But sometimes it turns off by them self.
Could it be an hardware defect or can it be fixed with installing another rom?
current rom is: AOSPEXTENDED V5.5
probably kernel panic, try other rom/ kernel
Which rom/kernel I can flash best?
Any suggestion about stable new rom?

Guys....I don't know why but every custom kerNel I tried on my mi4 doesn't work..it always give a black screen after the mi logo...i know it is an inappropriate to post about mi 4 here but the mi 4 thread seems inactive that's why..I tried on cm12.1 miui 7 and metallium ROMs but I suffer the same problems on all of them...if any mi 4 users are able to boot it successfully please help.
I have this problem with stuxnet reborn kernel. I always get a black screen after the Mi logo. Tried using Stuxnet reborn kernel with Mokee, Metallium and DU but always the same problem. On the other hand, Xcelerate works fine. I have no idea why. Maybe its the multirom in stuxnet reborn?
The same thing happens and I have just put the Xcelerate but the first that the second and all other not pass me the logo of miui:crying: (excuse the google translator)
am also facing same problem... always get black screen after mi logo. tried it on EOS and broken rom. can you people please share xcelerate kernel.. please
Let's start off with something simple.
I am experiencing touch screen issues whereby a portion of my screen is entirely dead.
This happens on any ROM (custom or OOS) that uses the Nougat firmware.
BUT this does not happen on ROM that uses Oreo firmware.
Let's say I am using an Oreo ROM that is still using Nougat firmware, my touchscreen still has its issues.
I have tried a full wipe -> did not work.
I have tried the unbrick tool -> touchscreen still gives me issues (aka did not work).
Anyone has any ideas?
Hi Bobbi,
Please tell us your device, the ROMs you've tested with and provide links to the firmware that you flashed for Nougat and Oreo.

Hi all,
First up, I have been running 3rd party ROMs on my old Sony Z2 for years (TWRP with Cyanogen then LineageOS).
So i'm semi-experienced with running other ROMs.
I have a Mi 9 global currently running the latest stable official Global MIUI.
The bloat and calling-home by the Xiaomi stock apps is ridiculous, so want off ASAP.
Ideally I'm after a very lightweight, stripped down version of Android with OpenGApps Pico (or equiv).
All hardware working would be a bonus (losing IR and NFC isnt a deal-breaker. Need BT working though).
So what would you guys recommend I run?
Thanks in advance
xiaomi.eu
I bought my mi 9 before 1 week and yesterday I unlocked the bootloader and installed Xiaomi eu , I'm very happy with it and i got 9h of Screen Time on.
I'm in same position as the OP. Waiting 6 more days before I can unlock and also keeping a close eye on the stability of Pixel Experience rom. Currently using it on a Samsung S7 so that will be my first choice.
Xiaomi.eu or Revolution OS are both great Miui roms.
Pixel Experience isn't stable enough for you I guess. But in future it will.
hello friends I have a problem when I unlock my 9 install the twrp that says on the page xiaomi.eu and I liked the rom and wanting to update to 9.6.13 try to enter the twrp and I can not appear the black screen and restart to the rom that I currently have from xiaomi.eu 9.6.5 someone can help me.

I replied to your other post.
Revolution OS > xiaomi.eu (if you don't like constant Softwareupdates - in case you debloat one of those & install magisk mods).
I don't say xiaomi.eu is bad, but I'd prefere to not update my smartphone unnecessarily ("never thouch a running system").

Try Globe Rom, it can be customized by you. You'll like it ?
Do xiaomi.eu and revolution os have widevine l1?
I have my new redmi 9c 4/128 but i found out that it does not have the same hardware than other 9c's so every official custom recovery is not installing (not compatible), so i ported a twrp no i can install custom roms right ? no i can't because all the roms made for redmi 9c are not working on me because i have a different hardware i think.
I spent weeks searching for the solution and found this. My question is : Can i flash the kernel on my 9c ??? Is it safe ???? and if not, how can i install custom roms then ?
i tried like 5 garden custom roms compatible for my redmi 9c no one worked, i always get a black screen and a one frame green line on top (maybe the screen is different from other 9c ?)
i also tried to install the miui 12.0.10 and 12.0.8 i think both roms have a screen compatibility issue, (the brightness in the redmi logo is also really weak and fading to black, weird) they nearly broke my screen with lines that lasted hours even after returning to 12.0.21 .
After all my experiences, i really think that my phone have something different from others
Question/Help
I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but I have a Poco F3 GT (Redmi K40 Gaming Edition), and after a few months of use i unlocked my phone's bootloader and switched to china rom as it has more features than india version.
I locked the bootloader after installing the china rom (flash all and lock.bat), everything is working fine and i am also receiving software updates.
The problem is there is no setting for triggers and led light (main highlights of the phone) and led also dont light up for charging, notification and calls and flashlight doesn't work (it works in camera app) but not from control center. Also I cannot switch the camera lenses.
I wanted to ask if these issues can be fixed?
Same problems with miui vietsub 13.0.8 rom
you can follow these steps to fix all the issues you are facing
