Hey all,
I've got the Mi A2 global version but I'm using in the US and haven't gotten the 9.0 OTA update yet. Is there any way that I can officially sideload it or something like that?
Flash it through fastboot.

It really works! I tried 2 times and works. But I had to change my language to English (I'm from Brazil) to view all the apps mentioned in the video.

Hi,
Does anyone know how, and if it is possible to convert it to the XT-1092 EU version (Mine is the XT-1092 DE (German) version)
and is it possible without unlocking the bootloader.?
Thanks.

I have (had) a retde xt1092 variant, I flashed the reteu firmware without problems, even without needing to factory reset and then upgraded to lollipop without any problems. My bootloader is unlocked, you can try with a locked bootloader
Thanks for your reply,
I did try to sideload the xt1092 EU version though, and samy thing, it compained that my fingerprint was wrong..
So.. I guess I would either have to unlock the bootloader, or wait for the German version to be released..

Just flash the reteu image and then sideload, you probably don't need to unlock

you need to be unlocked to bypass that signature verification.

To be clear, you can definitely flash the EU image and the EU OTA update.zip on a retde XT1092 without unlocking your bootloader and without losing any user data. I did and everything is running smoothly.
Me too, I can confirm that.
Help here

When i try to flash the reteu zip (Via stock recovery) a message appears that instalation is aborded.
Can you please give a mini-guide to do this?
Maybe the Factory image i have is wrong.
Do you have any links for the Factory image?
Thank you for your time.

You are probably using regular fastboot not Motorola fastboot.
Hello all !
I've bought a MI9T pro on Rakuten 2 weeks ago, i unlocked the bootloader successfully, then i installed some mods like V4A etc, then i installed the 72hz mod that bricked my phone, after 2 hours, i
I managed to flash a older stock rom that i found on the web, but after this it was writed "Redmi" and not "Mi" on the bootup screen like it was before, then i installed LineageOS but i saw that there was many translation issues with french language so i installed MiUi 11 with TWRP but now the FP Sensor doesn't work.
My question is, is it possible to return to the latest version on MiUi that is available on MI9T Pro so i can do all the updates on the phone directly like when i bought it ? Can you tell me when i can find the rom ? And how can i get back "Mi" rather than "Redmi" on the bootup screen ?
I still want to get root, and bootloader unlocked, i just want to get an official stock rom like before.
Thanks guys for helping me, and excuse-me for my bad english, i from france
you need to download the correct fastboot ROM for your device and flash it with MiFlash. You will have either the Global or the EEA variant.
EEA ROM: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.4.0....KEUXM_20190923.0000.00_9.0_eea_65ad59b1cb.tgz
Global ROM: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.2.0....XM_20190911.0000.00_9.0_global_a11e2330ec.tgz
MiFlash: https://www.xiaomiflash.com/downloads/MiFlash20170425.zip
Do you know how can i know if i need to flash the global or the eea version?
After this, i will je able to do the miui updates normally like before? And it will be back a mi9t pro and not a k20 pro like now ? Because i had to flash something from india to flash the lineageOS.
Sorry for those questions, thanks again!
created new thread, since its different problem

Follow this guide. If you read it on a mobile browser, you will need to view it in desktop mode.
It has links for the Mi Flash Tool and the fastboot ROMs on the page.
Edit:
Just noticed the link is missing

Thank you for everything, now i have mu device like a new Unity.
Hey guys,
Today I messed up with TWRP and accidentally deleted the data partition.
I had used janjan's solution like a year ago to get magisk (I'm assuming my DRM keys are gone), and my BL is also unlocked.
Sadly, my phone booted to the new setup wizard, and now magisk is not working.
I'm desperately trying to get back to stock ROM in order to get root again and have a custom kernel or some other custom ROM instead.
I'm not sure if that is possible any longer, I tried using newflasher (v19) to flash into stock but sadly it didn't recognize the phone.
I'm kinda lost, and I would love if someone would help and point me in some direction in order to get things working again.
Current situation is I'm on firmware 47.1.A.12.179, and cannot simply update it through fota (it won't install), magisk isn't working, but the phone does connect to google play store and functions 'normally' (without root though).
If anyone has any idea of what I could do next, that would be supreme.
Thanks for your time!
Use EMMA.
Thanks! I'll update with details
Edit: Amazing mate! This worked! My camera is back!
So many many many thanks
Just came here to say thanks. Spend few hours trying to install drivers when I actually mistook flash mode with fastboot mode lol

Hello
Tried to restore to stock ROM from EMMA, worked like a charm... But I can't ReLock back the bootloader.
Any advice?
It's not possible to relock the XZ1C's bootloader.
Success is disgusted by some people, and will not share any files for free in the future.
That's all good but 2 questions
1. How to unlock BL
2. And is it possible to cross china to global and vise versa

Ok, it's your choice but what the point of the firmwares? You would rather share something that's is useless to most without BL unlock and keep it to your self. I personally wouldn't mind paying for BL unlock if that is your game here.

I recently had this issue and fixed it after a lot of trial and error. Try flashing twrp through a different usb port l. Let me know what error you are getting when you flash recovery in adb cmd. You can pm me.
how to flash this?

Hi, I've tryed to install realme UI 2.0, but during the installation i have an error and the update arrested ,i never unlock the bootloader and my versione Is C.38, can anyone help me?
Did you succeed?
If not,
How did you try to install RUI 2.0?
Have you ever tried to format your phone through the recovery mode?

Nope, I'm still in c38
I tryed in recovery and on file explorer
Yes, wipe all data
But, you didn't get the update in the settings?
If no, wait for it.
If yes,
Ok so, even after that, it still doesn't want to do the update?
Then, you should try that: Realme flash Guide (If you haven't already), then update! (need to unlock bootloader first)

Nope , however many people have updated so and then it worked, I do not know what my problem is ...
I know that before upgrading it is better to keep the bootloader locked

Personally, I haven't had any problems even though I have an unlocked bootloader since I got my smartphone.
I think you should just wait in this case to avoid problems. ^^
