Hello Everyone,
Here is your opportunity to apply for the closed beta and stay on the beading edge Oxygen OS builds
Closed Beta program is an opportunity for us to listen to your feedback and refine or revise our product strategy based on that. It also helps us to find major bugs at an early stage and release more stable Open Beta and MP (official) builds.
You are required to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with OnePlus to be part of this program.

* Use a OnePlus 6T
* Be an active member of the OnePlus Community
* Be willing to constantly communicate and provide feedback to the OnePlus team on Slack
OxygenOS Beta Program: Explained
tempted to sign up but....
1.) Don't use Slack
2.) I daily use the phone (so don't want to tinker).
Can't wait for the open betas to start rolling in!
Too bad T-Mobile users can't beta test... Although if it's a matter of a simple system flash, similar to the fastboot files used for conversion, we should be able to participate.

**** I forgot about that..lol..I signed up though..
I signed up as well, received my t6 in the mail today. Unfortunately it arrived after I got to work so I won't be playing with it until tomorrow (gotta love night shift). It's been a pretty long time since I've had a phone that could even be rooted so I'm very excited, I think my last phone I could do anything with was a galaxy s3 maybe s4 I really can't remember.
Already applied..just hoping that I should got selected..I am also beta tester for Miui Rom.So would be nice to test Oxygen is as well
Signed up! Really interested in this!
This should be fun. Haven't been active on the OnePlus forms for a minute. But it's never too late too start.

same problem for me
I have it installed (using King's Legend 1.0), but it's not doing anything. I open the app, it shows a big button that says "Launch", I click it, and then I get a black screen (top bar is still there)
This is an EARLY beta of Fennec and it was designed for the Droid/Nexus. Chances are, it isnt gonna work right with the G1.

Please note that I said it is an EARLY BETA. Actually, it's the FIRST BETA. It's going to have problems on any device, much less a device it wasnt designed to support, like the G1.
the guy said it requires android 2.0 or higher.
As I read things, it is actually an UNOFFICIAL beta built from the dev repos.
The official betas will be distributed from mozilla's website, just as the n900 betas are.
Its also a ~40mb app. My thoughts are its running itself virtually for now. But that could be one stupid theory...
The alpha is out for Android 2.0 users. Only 10M this time

This is where I last got it to boot. Most of the work is by TeamGalaxySense which I was in for a while. I got this to boot, and not much works of anything. If you want to get stuff to work, please do.
Please report any bugs you find, so I can 'try' and fix them.

I'm more than willing to beta test, but I can't do much else.
I'll test anything that is truly Beta (not Alpha) quality
Willing to Beta Test.

OxygenOS release cycle:
Closed Beta
(2 updates per month)
This is where all OxygenOS code begins. Sometimes, these builds are referred to as “alpha builds”.
Here, our software team tests new (and sometimes experimental) code and features.
The big goal here is to get initial feedback on new ideas. These builds lack the stability of polished software
but offer early access. New code and features often come to Closed Beta builds
weeks or months before going public. In order to receive Closed Beta builds, you have to apply
to be a certified Closed Beta tester. This is quite an elite crew, though, as we usually
only accept around 100 Closed Beta testers for each device at any given time.
Open Beta
(1 update per month)
Once a new feature or change passes initial quality tests in Closed Beta, they’ll be added to Open Beta.
Since these builds are available for anyone to try, we’re doubling down
on our efforts to collect and implement feedback to ensure the software is much more stable
and less likely to include major bugs when compared to Closed Beta builds.
To make a long story short, Open Beta is the second, semi-public step for feedback and bug testing,
ensuring that only the best code makes it to official release.
Official Release (OTA)
(1 update every 1-2 months)
This is the final step. Once code has undergone several rounds of internal and community feedback
throughout the Closed and Open Beta programs, the best of the best is released
on the official version of OxygenOS. These are the updates that you automatically receive via OTA
if you don’t opt into any sort of beta program. In a nutshell, these are the builds
that go out to all of our users across the globe. While these builds are stable and polished,
the feedback doesn’t stop. We still continue to collect and analyze feature requests and bug reports,
and we actually have some big things in the works to make the feedback process even better.

Since last time we have no seen any official maintainer for LOS or other custom roms, however, right now will be an exception, today I decided to jump into the build process instead of be a tester only, right now it can't be certain when and how official build will arrive but I'm glad to say I'm going to be a maintainer for LOS 14.1 and beyond or maybe it sound great how I was thinking, I have a work by now that I need cover and not to mention that there's other devs that will be helping me but they also have a live outside, so please be patient if you're a tester, we would like to push official support on our side and on our devices but for next coming months, everything is not gonna be easy, right now our Calpella device is fetching the lineage source codes, as I've stated before, building requires great hardware which provides good builds times, also that having more great hardware more easy will be bring more builds for our devices, right now will start doing only m7spr builds and when everything get set up, I'll bring m7vzw builds,
Again I know what it seems but is up to you, but I repeat, again, building requires a great hardware, since having more ram, a good CPU and having SSD's, if you would like to donate even knowing that I'm not recognized as a developer then it will be okay, as I've stated in previous post, You can donate with computer parts and or with money but, AGAIN! it is up to you guys, this is just the start of everything that going beyond this more and more.
Any help from dev would be appreciated and also will be great having help from users as well, this is not a hook or guide how to compile here, not even tried to cover up or do a guide as they're already wrote in the wiki pages of current bases (Los, Aicp, RR, etc.)
Right now the only thing we need is a help from other devs and also help from you guys, yeah, the one that still rock with this old device, and that's because I'm downloading this over a 56kbps connection and not to mention that I'm living in a mountain basically, but that's a limit in my connection and I want to subscribe to another service provider.

In less than 12 hours OPPO will be live streaming the #ColorOS13 global online launch event. I noticed that the preview is already available on Youtube:
Guess I have to wait until December for the update!

I'd still prefer getting the official version, but was too interested in ColorOS13 to pass it off.

It will be a game changer when they start launching the official version. Though tbf, there aren't a lot of complaints other than GPay in this beta.
Did you hear about any overheating news? It doesn't seem like it this time.
Well done, ColorOS and OPPO!

There were probably security challenges in the syncing GPay in the beta version.
I have only seen one review where there was overheating but that was due to an Always-On setting.
Have you seen a stress test for ColorOS 13?
I got notification to try the ColorOS 13 beta, but when I clicked on it, it says no test version available.. that is such a dissapointing thing I was busy with life I wasn't even aware ColorOS 13 is coming, now because of that notification I want to try them so bad.. oh Oppo.. you #$#@$!

Why would you want to try a buggy software right off the start ?
I would hold at least 2-3 update versions before updating to Color 13 with A13

I just like to try new stuff, and generally impatient guy hahaha
I have been disappointed by how manufacturers put their own skin over vanilla android though..
Like Android 12 has new quick setting style, but ColorOS 12 quick setting is exactly the same as Android 11.
The funky time widget of Android 12 didn't make it to ColorOS 12 either, I had to download and use 3rd party widget for the same look.
I wish they sell Pixel in my country. I don't want to buy a phone that has no local support in case something went wrong, hence I choose Oppo, was satisfied Huawei user until they are banned to use google services.
