Some people like those Qi add-ons. In any case, they're best when they don't charge too fast; you don't want to generate too much heat - the enemy of long battery life!
Make sure your case is a tight fit, as you want as little space in between charger and phone as possible.

Anyone know if there is any sort of splitter device, that will allow me to use one charger to charge two phones with miniUSB sockets?
Need to charge a Magic and Touch Dual but have limited plug sockets.
Thanks
Not exactly what I was looking for but these seem to do the job.

A couple of similar products can be found on ebay.
I'm a bit wary of USB plugs, as I have had a cheap one explode next to me. No injury sustained but I was lucky, any closer and I would be pulling plastic pieces out of the side of my head.
The search continues ...
Yea iGo. They sell universal chargers and a dual splitter. Its very cheap.
motorola had a dual mini usb splitter sold as an accessory. its designed to let you charge a phone and one of their bt headsets that also used mini usb.
However, i think its a switching unit, it supplies power to the phone side (they're labeled) first until its full, then switches to the other side.

Hey All!!
I remember I bought a Philips Power2Go about 3 years ago! I just found it and am charging it now to help extend battery life of my HTC HD2.
Perhaps some of you would see this as an alternative.

I recommend the Just Mobile Gum Pro as an alternative as it is similarly sized and can give the HD2 2.5 full charges which probably means an additional 3-4 days for average users. It's £30 online.
Thanks! The Power2Go can only charge once.
+1 for the GUM Pro
i've had a gum pro for a couple of weeks and it's brilliant -- small size & weight and with a capacity of 4400mAh it can manage 2-3 full charges of my hd2. it's also capable of 1000mA output (though possibly only if you use a charging-only cable with the data pins shorted*) so you can continue to use your phone full steam while charging as if it were plugged into a mains charger.
*i'm using a retractable usb-->miniusb cable with an ebay usb mini-->micro adaptor attached. the adaptor has the data pins shorted which fools the hd2 into thinking that there is a mains charger attached so that it doesn't limit the charging current to 500mA.
I love my Nexus but I do have one compliant or wish.....When I am using my Nexus while charging it, the charging port could not be located in a worse place as far as holding it (portrait) and charging. I am really worried about damaging the port.
My thought is, if the was an adapter that had an L-shaped male to plug into the Nexus and run along the bottom to make it less of an issue to putting stress on the port.
Has anyone seen one of these?
Like one of these?

Personally if you're worried about stress try looking for a 6" extension cable with a right angle connector instead. IMHO of course.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2
Only issue is that the N7 is very selective about cables.
A generic Micro USB cable will not charge at full rate.
I use a couple of generic usb cables (eBay), 2mtrs long with a right angled plug. They both seem to work fine for me, I tend to leave the N7 on charge overnight but it charges up pretty quickly anyway.
There are two versions of the Incipio offGRID Power Pack Moto Mod. One with and one without wireless charging. I know the one without wireless charging must be charged attached to the phone. Can the wireless version be charged separately, or also only when on the phone?
From what little tests I did it needs to be on the phone. With the wireless charger I have it doesn't work if I just put it on the charger.
Been unable to recharge this mod on its own is its only really downside.

It recharges just fine wirelessly and by it self.

My bad, I just realised I have the mod without wireless charging (although I supposedly bought the one with it, I've got a store to go back to ^^').
Sorry for the misinformation!
So, this week arrive my new supercharger and kevlar cable, both from a company called Blitzwolf.
Not the first one i buy and their quality is very very good!

I really think this is a must, specially the charger.
And you, still on OEM charger?
Yes.
I have the original, tronsmart and aukey. Both tronsmart and aukey can almost reach the maximum QC 3.0 power (18W) when charging from 0%. My USB doctor shows 5.7-5.9V @ 3.0-3.1A (at least for the first few percents).
Yes....but this one can kick 2 port, and quiete probably better line stability, with less noise....
Just saying the electronics inside are more stronger....and except my Oppo with VOOC, i never used original chargers....they look too week or basic...
