I went to GooManager and downloaded the new version of TWRP. When I reboot to recovery my phone gets stuck on "swipe to unlock" and doesn't let me do anything but to restart my phone on fastboot. I can't flash any ROMs
Can someone please help me? Thanks in advanced. :crying:

I was using the previous version (2.5) just fine and just went to GooManager and I assume that GooManager will download the right for me.
I opened GooManager and click on Menu then Install OpenRecoveryScript and then I manually rebooted to recovery once the download finished. And that's when I get stuck on "swipe to unlock"
Filename was "openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.0-m7wls.img"

well, thats the right one, i would suggest that you manually download the file and install using adb fastboot.
I direct downloaded the file from their site and fast boot flashed after verifying MD5. There is definitely a problem with he recovery

Thank you sir! I am new to this so I am learning as I go. I read that these are the steps to follow to do an ADB Fastboot. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks again for your help.
1) Download the above file. Save it to the root of your /sdcard directly (internal memory only) and rename it to "twrp.img"
2) Turn off your device. Turn on the device and keep holding volume down until a menu shows up. Select fastboot from the menu list.
3) Plug the device into your computer. Run the following command via the command line:
fastboot flash recovery "twrp.img"
Bless.

That sucks! So should I do try adb fastboot or go back to the previous version (2.5)?
What sucks is that without 2.6 working properly, I won't be able to flash any ROM with the new android version (4.2)

Did you just recently update your firmware to the new base? The reason I ask is because after I did I used the the firmware with the bootloader and recovery included. I had reflashed TWRP 2.5. Well I noticed that the method of holding down volume key and and power button would not work for me at all whether I was in the os, bootloader or recovery. So I flashed the Rom I was on again and it fixed it. So I am wondering this is what is happening to you. Maybe just let the phone lose charge then plug it in reboot to the os then into bootloader and flash the 2.5 TWRP recovery. Only thing I can think of your not bricked

I do not have a separate file. I think my TWRP came as part of some bigger ( root, recovery, permissions) package. I would think it was the Sprint version, but I keep having slight problems - those system apps try reboot after install, but in my case they do not. I have to boot manually, and after each recovery reboot I get a "reboot error notification". Can this be related?

Hello,
So I have a P7 at B126. I tried rooting it with kingroot and tried to install TWRP. I got to the part where you have to use fastboot to flash the img and it fails so I gave up. Now I am trying to get into recovery and I can't. It just either goes to a black screen or a Boot failed screen.
Thanks in advance

I can boot normally.
What I did was this.
I followed the guide to root my phone. Rooted it and then tried to install the TWRP custom recovery. It failed at the installing the recovery for some permission error. So I stopped trying to install it. Now I apparently don't have a recovery at all.
I also installed some root apps like SetCPU, Xposed(Which didn't work), SuperSU(Which didn't Work)
If I try to adb reboot recovery it just takes me to the boot failed screen with the android logo on it. If I try using the Power + Down button it just shows me the huawei ascent P7 screen and just go black.
Also when I go to the fastboot/rescure mode it says my bootloader is unlocked.
Thanks for the reply.
Ah okay. So, boot into the fastboot mode, put the recovery.img in the adb folder on your pc, run cmd and type 'cd c://..' (location of adb folder), then 'fastboot flash recovery [name of recovery.img]' (for example 'fastboot flash recovery recovery_twrp.img'). Now you should get a working recovery.
Are you sure you really got root access? Eventually due to this you got the permission error..

I do because adb has admin permissions but fastboot doesn't. I tried that with trying to flash twrp on my p7 but i get a failed error after like a second I the command. So I tried flashing a stock recovery and it throws the same error in fastboot.
When I type fastboot devices I get this
? fastboot
No id for my phone but adb sees it.
Ok, your pc does obviously not recognize the p7 in fastboot mode. Did you install the Hi Suite? Through this way you should get the correct drivers (maybe even update/reinstall). If this does not help, I think I can't help you, sorry. You may wait for more help or google what do when the device isn't recognized in fastboot.
Just flash the newest SuperSU.zip when you got a recovery.. That should fix problems with root apps/ the su binary.
Offtopic: I'm not sure if you noticed, but, you're running a pretty old firmware.. You may think about updating

Hi Suite installed and correct drivers are loaded(I hope) and yes thats why Im trying to get this fixed because it wont even let me update firmwares
Try on another pc.. You could also try flashify (look in Google play), but in case of a softbrick you have real problem. Do this on your own risk, most times nothing bad will happen, but it could!
I would recommend to flash the stock recovery, update up to B621 and then installing a custom recovery.

Hi mate.
1. Use your pc, Go shuame.com and download "rom flash program".
2. Enter fastboot&rescue mode and connect your phone and PC
3. The program will recognize your phone.
4. Download anyrom and flash by the program.
The process will not complete but you will have Shuame recovery.
But my case it didn't work properly
5. I downloaded CWM from here "pan.baidu.com/s/1dDq0qcT" password :bttc
Start this program with connect your phone and press nomber 1 and ENTER.
I don't exactly remember my phone was on fastboot & rescue mode or recovery mode.
But I could get recovery and did rom flash so it was fixed.

Hey I cannot get into recovery mode, I don't really know why. This morning everything was ok: I rebooted my phone into recovery mode as usually, with no problems. THEN I rebooted my phone from the custom recovery, and then my phone went to bootloop: The bootloader screen went to black, then to my lockscreen and then to the bootloader screen, then to my lockscreen... etc. (bootloop)
I rebooted into recovery again and tried to do a normal wipe, because usually that's everything I need. But nothing happened: bootloop again.
So, I went to recovery once more to perform a full wipe and erase the data. Then I tried to flash CM13 and the Gapps, but nothing happend. Now, I cannot get into recovery, I'm stuck in the TWRP screen.
Help?

I tried to install twrp on my OP3T but everytime i write "fastboot flash recovery trwp.img" it says "error: cannot load 'twrp.img'"
When I type "adb devices" my phone doesn't show up
I unlocked the bootloader
I activated USB debugging
I checked the OEM thing
I have put the twrp.img in the same Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder
What could it be?
Install correct driveres or use another usb port. Device have to be adressed via "fastboot devices" or "adb devices".
It's probably a typing error ..Rename the twrp in whatever you want and then type " fastboot flash recovery " whatever you want".img
Rename file
Did you rename the file? You need to rename it before flashing.
IT WORKED
Everytime I was putting the phone into bootloader mode, the phone was already plugged in. Then I tried to put the phone to bootloader mode and THEN plugging it in my pc... and it worked ^^
Strange, right?

The last parameter has to be the EXACT filename, that you are flashing, which is the TWRP image. It has to be in the same folder as your command prompt is or you need to include the path to the twrp file.
Try the last TWRP release, should work!
Would like to express that I am also having the exact same issue. Any version of TWRP simply fails to load and stays on the TWRP logo.

Did you try to fastboot TWRP after flashing it?
What I mean is, after you enter the command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img", proceed with "fastboot boot twrp.img" and it will boot. Doing this you prevent Oxygen OS from overwriting TWRP. You should be able to boot normally after doing that.
Don't be worried and try to boot into recovery as described, that should work, if it doesn't I wonder if you flashed the right version of TWRP.
Try and let us know.

I've unlocked bootloader, enabled oem unlock and enabled usb debugging. I've added the PATH where my twrp.img file is located.

Well, if so you should try to reflash your boot.img (recovery.img if that applies to your device). If you have an update of your partitions, just reflash this update.
Else you have to find your (stock) rom and reflash it.
Besides: If you didn't do a backup, you maybe want to do it in the future. Since I know what it means to search very long for OS'/recoveries for a device, I really want to recommend you to backup your partitions. Always. And better each one, not only those you wan't to modify.

Thx for the fast anwere!
Yes IT IS fastboot Mode but nothing works,
The zuk is Off for example i Push the Power butten (only) or the vol+ AND Power or vol- and Power and IT Boot in the Fastboot (the picture what i was uploading)
I can choose restart bootloader, Recovery Mode,Power Off and Boot to FFBM
No matter what i choose IT Boot to the fastboot again and in cmd IT no responds
(I Think) when in was tipping ADB devices Ther only stand "LIST OF DEVICES ATTACHED"
i remember that there must some With Numbers stand? (Devices serial of Something)
Stay healthy

Okay. When you're in fastboot, what happens if you enter the following into cmd?
Code:
fastboot devices
Does it display your device or is its output empty?
Please make sure that you actually type "fastboot" if you're in fastboot since adb isn't available once you boot into fastboot mode. That means adb devices wouldn't recognize your phone.

Yes, numbers and letters are valid. You should get a similar outut using fastboot devices
If that doesn't work for you you should check your drivers (you're using windows, right?). I cannot help you with the driver part, however, since I'm using linux (I never had to install drivers, thus it always worked) but you should find something on the net or here in xda.

Hello.
Sorry, I am a bit busy in the moment an didn't log into xda.
So, yes, you can try to reinstall twrp as long as your device is being recognized.
And if you can flash twrp, then maybe search for stock ROM (or custom if you whish) and install that.
This should unbrick your device.
