first apk for the launcher, and 2nd apk for miui control panel
How to activate Appdrawer:
Install attached APK (MIUI settings)
you will get an application called MIUI Control Pannel open that app,
There are five option, only last option will work Which is "App drawer option"
check auto start and enable App drawer in that.
you can set pull down location also in that,
Now you can pull down the app drawer from top, just tap & hold and pull down from the location you set, from few millimetre down where we pull down the status bar.
(this you have to set after each boot)

Installation
1. Wipe data/ factory reset

Tips on using the ROM:
Camera:
If you are not satisfied with the quality and performance of the stock camera app, "Camera jb+"(from playstore). And use videocam illusion pro for recording videos.(Again from playstore). It will produce better quality images.
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x" or "0/off". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this.
If the ROM becomes slow over time, do a reboot.
And try not to do a lot of stuff in the first few seconds when SD card scanning is going on, sync is going on or when apps are updating in the background. Its not right to complain of "this/that doesnt work" or lag when you do that .
Gapps:
Use gapps this way:
1. Install gapps
2. Install playservices from a previous backup.
3. Freeze google apks like playservices, backup transport, contact sync, network location, picasa uploader etc except "playstore, google account manager, market update and google services framework" (basically freeze every google apk except these)
4. Add google a/c and use playstore normally.
5. If you don't have a playservices backup, let market download it and freeze it after that.

New update(17-11-2014): A new update is posted in attachments which fixes buggy bluetooth. It is mandatory to flash it. A data/factory reset is highly recommended after flashing the bluetooth fix.
There is no keyboard(latinme) included.
Installation procedure is same as cm10. slimbean,cm10 on the way. Uploading now.
I need someone who can resize brightnessbar, circle lockscreen, all lockscreen options. This is far best 4.1 rom for mini. So, i would love some contribution to this rom.

USB debugging mode and ringtones

I've found the USB debugging mode, OK. no problem.
But the sounds not OK. In the 'Default notification' menu I can find only one option "silent" !
Does it means, there is no sound for notification?
Could you help me?

I've got the solution. I couldn't be so stupid. My "Notifications" directory on the SD card was empty.
I put some ogg files in it, and now the notifications sound are available.

It was my mistake. My makefile failed to copy ringtones to system/media.

Slimbean and aokp has too many lockscreen options than cm10. I am talking about those new lockscreen options resize(bubble, circle,blackberry lockscreen options ).

Download any keyboard app to pc, copy it to sd card and install it. I use samsung keyboard flashable zip(search galaxy mini themes section).

I've been using this rom from past 20 days..
Here are my opinions,problems etc..
Firstly i'd like to thank you for this rom.
I had odexed this rom(to get some some free space).
But i had problem everytime i used "usb mass storage". every time the phone gets into hot reboot(i'm also using xperia theme).
And once when this happened,phone didn't boot back only. This logcat might be helpful for you.

I don't see a tablet mode option, but I was able to get a tablet layout for settings. Am I missing the tablet mode option?

I'm running slimsaber on my OPO and after I flash and reboot i just get force closes. Doesnt even get into the Ui

Yeah, that's what I get. What I mean by 'tabletmode' is that on the left frame you get to choose the menu and on the right frame the sub menu. On other Android-versions this happens automatically when you set the DPI to 160 and screen DPI to 800x1280 or up (values may vary).

VolumeSteps+ reported to be not fully working, haven't tested it out yet, but will add support ASAP

That's build-in into many roms (in CM at least):
Enable developer options if you haven't already (by tapping the phone's build-number 10 times in About Phone in Settings)
Go to Developer Options, scroll all the way down
Enable 'Killl app back button'

to get it to work you will have to go into camera settings advance final jpg quality HDR+ set it to 100 close out the app go into recent apps and close all then open camera backup then it should work

how to get wifi calling working have a rom with wifi calling working use titanium back and backup wifi calling 1.0 and wifi calling setting and restore the data for both wifi calling setting after flashing this rom

Note When install Samsung/Google Dialer when rom first boots up You Must go into Settings Apps
Look for Phone Click on it and go down to Calling app Click on it and Set the Phone as Default Calling app if not you will have Problems when someone calls you
Note 2 Google camera when you first launch it portrait mod does work only on front camera
to get it to work you will have to go into camera settings advance final jpg quality HDR+ set it to 100 close out the app go into recent apps and close all then open camera backup then it should work

Thanks for the update. I've been running stock rooted for awhile and will spend some time getting this set up today or the upcoming days.

With my usage V1 has been great. I love the recent apps section a lot. I can listen to music stored on my phone for 8 hrs and still have 50% battery left, that is in combination with green power controlling how often the phone syncs. I will update to V2 this weekend. Thank you very much.

my bad, I didn't fully factory reset. Didn't delete the internal storage. Nevertheless I made it work now.
when making a call
Hello, when making a call within this rom, once the call is placed, it does not have a option to end the call. Like other phone call apps, there is NO end call button that is usually RED.
The Battery drain seems to be pretty bad.
I appreciate your hard work.

It sounds like you installed Google dialer which there is instruction on what to do if you were to install it in first post as for battery I have no problems with need more info what do you have installed did u delete anything etc...?
Do i need to be rooted to install this rom? I have stock oreo t-mobile s7 and i want to install a stock oreo rom, is this rom fine for me?

I reinstalled this rom from scratch again and this time I choose Samsung dialer and the problem is gone.
Thanks to the whole team that worked on this wonderful rom.
Please do let us know when a modified ROM comes out on either Oreo 8.1 or Android Pie.

What baseband do you need to be on before flashing? I have 930a with 930t firmware and have tried several different combos with no luck, when flashing with oreo firmware, during aroma, all is double images and no boot, naugot firmware is normal during aroma, all is normal and still wont boot, every time ive tried ive had to go back and start over and re run firmware, root, etc
How do we do this step?

Hi everyone, although this is wide known to every one, i guess someone could benefit from this
To hide navbar without ROOT access.
we first need a PC , USB cable, and Phone.
PREREQUISITE STEPS:
1) download and Install ADB.

2) Enable Developer options, then enable USB debugging.
After installing ADB:
Open command prompt, make sure usb debugging is turned on in your phone.

STEPS TO DO.
1)To start adb service
Type adb start_server
Then authorize the phone ( a popup will appear on your phone screen - check the box and press OK)
2) Type adb devices
shows list of devices attached to the pc.
3) Type adb shell
TO HIDE NAV BAR:
After typing adb shell, it should look like: laurel_sprout:/ $
then enter : wm overscan 0,0,0,-100
it should look like - laurel_sprout:/ $ wm overscan 0,0,0,-100
what this code does is, it shifts the location of navbar down, you can notice that navbar would be shifting its position when you play around with numbers less than -100 - give a try
NOTE : for my device the value showed in RED ( -100) is negative 100, in your device it will vary, so check all possibilities. change number from -100 to -200 , for more help checkout this video which i found it on YouTube.

TO SHOW NAV BAR as PREVIOUS:
laurel_sprout:/ $ wm overscan 0,0,0,0
NOTE : set the last parameter to '0', then navbar will be back.
TyPE exit. to come out of that adb shell.
4) Type adb kill_server
to stop the ADB, then disconnect your phone.
i installed Fluid Gestures from playstore as replacement to stock navbar.
and make sure you have Gestures enabled, else you wont have a way to navigate :laugh:

LOL. .. Not having a way to navigate seems so funny
And yes Fluid Gestures rocks! IMO google really messed up the gesture navigation on android pie, it's clunky & counter-intuitive . iOS pretty much nailed it from the very beginning & Xiomi simply copied them. So MIUI has the best implementation of gesture on the Android side.
I've rooted my phone already, used systemui tuner from play store & combined it with Fluid Gestures. Works much better than default navigation system.

Fluid Gestures is great, agree, Google's are awful. Recommend to anyone getting vexed with that half-stop-step [email protected]!!
