Hi
I’m on the Nokia 7 plus 1055 October patch on Oreo in the UK and want to update to pie. I have tried to side load but not sure which one I should be using?
Also when it says the root folder does it just mean on the main page folder?
New to XDA so help would be appreciated.?
Best of luck I have already tried 3times and get the installation page and then installation failure. The update has to be on the Nokia 7+ page not the download page. After downloading and renaming move the file using files from the app drawer to the Nokia 7+ which will be listed in the menu (top left in files).

Hi,
I just received my new phone, and I realised that I am still on oxygenOs 3.5.4. I checked the system updates, and it says that there aren't any updates available, but I see that nougat was released in January.
Is the Nougat update something that I need to trigger manually? Is there any reason to not update to Nougat? I guess all the kinks are pretty much ironed out by now.
Cheers!

You should have received it by now. You can manually download the ROM and either sideload it or place it in its folder.

You could try installing a free VPN app, changing the region to Canada or Germany and checking again. This is how I've done it.

I am facing the same issue. I got my 3T yesterday and it says no update available. I have not rooted my phone and wont root it unless absolutely necessary. Where can I download the official Nougat ROM from? And what is the procedure to sideload it?

You can get the update, and instruction on how to install from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/rom-oxygenos-3-5-4-mm-ota-update-t3519074
Sideload instructions also here from OnePlus: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_4.0.3/
Although the download right from OP only lists 4.0.3, and then Open Beta 3 and 4. So I don't know if this just not updated, as OTAs for 4.1.0 and 4.1.1 have already gone out:
http://downloads.oneplus.net/devices/oneplus-3t/
Were this Midnight Black phones?
^ No, Gunmetal version.

No nothing for the UK yet either.
The Huawei Servers actually have the Version 129 (Date: 02.04.2018). Unless we are getting a new Version via the OTA Update we should wait. For me it seems that these versions are still not final.
New build on fwf 129 2/4 but says not for device when check with imei

Hi.
Seems like the latest Update (128) broke my mirrorcast/streaming.
In the Update before it worked flawless.
I checked with Chromecast and a Sony and Samsung Tv.
Ive tested the Samsung TV in two different Networks.
In every test my device connects and disconnects immediatly.
Really annoing. Since my device is not routed its hard to investigate.
Greetings

Not had this yet on my UK device.
Is it possible roll out has been paused due to the issues listed on here? Why the 2 versions?
Any more UK users had this update yet?

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/hmd-g...okia-launcher-9-0010-08-android-apk-download/
I saw the following update on APK Mirror.
I can't get it installed. I get a update message, but it fails to install.
Can someone tell me what this app does? Duh I know what a launcher is. ?
I own a Nokia 8
I think that someone extracts the launcher from the Android Pie firmware on Nokia 7 Plus. It's not an update.
Among other things it's simply an adaptation of the AOSP launcher3, not a real Nokia Launcher.

cri347 is right, it is the Quickstep launcher from Nokia 7 plus on Android Pie. Think it support only Android Pie, therefore you can't install on your Nokia 8.

Try install using luckypatcher if you have root access
My Note 9 runs the 10.1.07.42 version of Call app.
Is it possible to update it with apk that I found in the sammobile?
I get always the "app not installed" message.
you get the error message because the apk is not compatible with your n9 and that can be because for many reasons (different os/ui version etc.). otherwise, it would let you install it

Thank you very much Raul.I thought that Android 9 and One UI it's the same for all devices. So the only way to update system apps is when they are official updates?
Official or compatible

I wouldn't recommend that you update the Call Software manually. I would advise you wait until it has been released by Samsung.

Nope..it's not available.
No buds compatibility included. Can someone pull the buds APK from the stable and upload it?
This changelog is lame, time for 11 beta already
Google Pay broken?
Is anyone else having issues with Google Pay?
I'm getting an error saying that the device is rooted or running an uncertified software.
EDIT: looks like SafetyNet is failing.

I am on OB17 and Safety Net passed. I don't use Google Pay so I cannot comment. I am stock, no root.
I am having bootloop issue on oneplus7pro with OOS openbeta 17 after flashed Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip,it was working on openbeta16,anyone here facing the same issue?
Did someone update with Magisk and system update yet (using TWRP Retention.zip)?
My phone is rooted and I have a custom kernel installed, is it safe to update?
I'm having bootloop on ob17 using latest twrp and magisk canary, modules disabled, stock kernel. Boots fine if magisk is uninstalled.

The only other thing that changed recently is an update to Google Play Services (beta).
Can you confirm which version you've got there?
EDIT: ignore, downgraded Google Play Services to latest stable version and still failing.
Not sure what went wrong, but I guess the only solution is a factory reset at this point
Thanks!
W.
@Oswald Boelcke @Funk Wizard
I'm new on op7/p forums but I'm coming from op5 and they have dedicated pinned threads for all OB/Stable builds instead individual ones for each new build.
Is possible to have this? Is there any volunteer?
