Has anyone managed to get a version of the gcam software installed on a Nokia 2.1?
Ive seen elsewhere that it has been installed on snapdragon 425 devices but nothing regarding the nokia
Not current GCAM ,, but very old one with HDR+ is only u can install ..
Current GCAM need ISP which Nokia 2.1 CHipset doesnt have one
Is there any newer version of gcam available for Nokia 2.1 (android 9 pie)... Camera 2 API enabled...
The only GCam versions working on Nokia 2.1 are GCam 4.2 and below (also because the device has armv7a app support).
From GCam V5 , they dropped support for armv7a devices.
You might give Google Camera Go a try , its not complete yet but the photos from this app are a bit better than HMD camera (installed one).

Their are threads on this all ready search before posting.
Google camera is not compatible with are phone anymore.
Unless their is a ported Google for this device we will likely not have one.

- I too have a8 plus in Oreo it worked like a champ...
-But the problem came with pie update ...It lost gcam support.....
Please help me regarding this problem ???

2. Use Rear Camera Config Pixel 3XL.
3. Use Front Camera Config Nexus 6P. Doesn't Work Eitherway, FC.

I am getting my brand new note 8 soon(2 days max), i have a pie modded version of Gcam, working good on my s7 edge pie custom rom, will try on N8 and report.
You can try IDANs version of GCam, they work pretty well!

Good news, after getting my note8 on pie stock rom and after rooting and xposed, i tried the modded version of Gcam 5x with playground stickers and slow-motion, all works great and smoothly.
Will try to upload it here as so as I can get good wifi.
Any idea about a stable GCam stock/mod v7.2+ available and working in Note8?
Also, will any of the GCam version 7.2+ support astro mode on Note 8?
I am running stock pie rom, non-rooted.
Plz someone upload a working version of GCam app (if possible latest version) working for our device(if there is any though).

Can someone port Realme's stock app, is that possible? Is there any camera app that can made full use of the phone's multiple cameras?

It seems that, only Lineage OS, gcam does work with all lenses (I'm using the latest Arnova beta). For you I've read, on gcam thread here, it seems not to be working on Realme UI and COS. There's a magisk file to fix that, it could work on Realme roms - it's on the camera app changelog. The only thing that's seems not to be working on gcam is slowmotion.

Is there a port which does this without root too? on realme UI?? Have tried a lot of versions but none of them seem to be working with all cameras

There is no way to use multiple cameras on any camera apps except for stock camera app on realme ui . The stock rom does not support it so there is no app that could accesses them .
Gcam on my X2 pro has issues with video, the screen blacks out and crashes the app

maybe you´ve tried the wrong gcam port.... its no secret that gcam quaility ist way better than miui cam in most cases

this doesnt support 108mp or even 64 mp
Im gettin in here with the same problem. Thats why i got back from ArrowOS or other AOSP roms simply due to the fact I cant use my camera(108mp) with all its features. Is there any solution to it yet? Im currently trying PixelPlus rom...great so far...but the camera app is just...well.

There ain't any gcam mod that supports 108mp, at the moment, as far as I know. Plus, There are so much different gcam mods with different levels of stability and so much different configs available for each of them that I got lost in testing and camparing all of them. In my opinion, it's not worth the time trying to get the perfect one, especially when there's always someone claiming to have the best mod with the best config file and someone says that it looks crappy compared to his, right after.
Having tested a respectable amount of them, I find that gcams produce often quite noisy pictures.
ANX is the way to go if you want a good camera and that you're fed up of tweaking your phone after installing all the bootloader and custom rom and magisk as I am.
There are many GCam mods which support our camera. There is NO support of the 108 MP sensor but at least you can choose which camera to use - the main one, the ultra wide or the Macro Camera.
I have tested many different GCam mods - latest and previous versions.
Below you can see the pictures made today.
The camera is placed on a tripod and the focus point is on the same place.
In the picture name I have put the name of the GCam mod and version which is used.

You can see the differences only if you zoom the pictures on a big good quality monitor. On the phone display they are the same ...

Just for the test I have made 2 pictures also with my old Redmi Note 7 - just to be sure that the quality of the camera sensor of the newer Redmi Note 10 Pro 108MP is better when using GCam mod ...

ANXCamera is a port of stock MIUI camera for custom roms and it works perfectly on my RN10Pro with PixelExperience. 108mpx works like a charm. You just need to flash 4 zips in TWRP in exact order:
1. Magisk apk (even if already have it, without that the rest of zips will throw errors)
2. ANXCamera zip
3. Redmi Note 10 Pro plugin for ANXCamera zip
4. Some patch zip that I don't remember how it was named.
Just type in Google "Redmi Note 10 Pro ANXCamera" and you will get links and instructions
I've noticed the MIUI cam is better than GCam even on other devices (RN7 Pro). Its the main reason I always stuck to MIUI based roms, usually EU. Its just gotten silly when ppl keep saying GCam is the best even when its not. For RN10 Pro, MIUI cam is a no brainer.
I'm using ANXCamera with AOSPExtended ROM + BSG GCam mod.
Definitely the original MIUI camera is the best one, but I have to say that the ANXCamera, which is MIUI camera port is working also very well with my Redmi Note 10 Pro - ANXCamera have very good support of my 108MP sensor, also the Pro mode is working as it is working on the original MIUI Camera!
In order to install the ANXCamera on a AOSP based ROM (Android Open Source project) you need Magisk and to flash few Magisk modules.
