Hi everybody
I have a Huawei P9 Plus smartphone. Android 6 with EMUI 4.1.1 was preinstalled.
I'm using adb shell getevent -t /dev/input/event5 to show all the touch events. On Android 6 with EMUI 4.1.1 this works very well. Now I have update to Android 7 with EMUI 5 but now getevent became very laggy and does not respond to every touch event.
Does somebody know why this happens or how this can be resolved?
Edit: I think I have found the problem. It seems to be the case that the events get cached and only sent to the console after a certain amount. How can I disable this caching?

recently i shift to honor 9 lite from honor 7 (both Indian variant)
now, by default full screen caller pic was there in honor 7, after getting the last update of emui 4.
but for reasons, i factory reset the H7 and surprisingly Full screen caller pic is not there,..
same thing here with honor 9 lite.
however i can do that manually by going in to particular contact that i want it to be full screen when he/she call me and open it by tapping on pic and contacts details will appear. just leave it for seconds, the image will be bigger from tiny circle icon, and now you will be able to see full screen caller id.
but problem and question is that how to do it automatically, as it was in h7 that was updated by OTA update in my case.
i can't do it manually over 1000 contacts,.. it has to be automatically.
(i am using only google contacts)
i chat with one honor representative , she was not aware of it. and not able to help me around.
please help... XDA developers....
What I know, that is a synchro problem for all Huawei/Honor phones (for google contacts).

very annoying ..
and huawei / honor not taking any steps regarding this issue, even there are post on this issue on HiHonor.in
Hi,
I cant find anywhere in EMUI something along the lines
"Encrypt phone: encrypted." like I had with pretty much any of my other devices.
I don´t believe Huawei would release a 8.1 Android without encryption. It is mandatory by Google, isn´t it? Maybe it is on by default once a PIN is set and the menu is just not shown by EMUI as you can´t change it anyhow on other phones as well.
Guess it is File based encryption rather than full disk enc. as there is no password upon boot process. That would be fine but can I somehow check with ADB command or something like that?
If it really is unencrypted entirely that appears to affect all Huawei I had in my hands lately.
Soo, i was using a Samsung with Android 7 before i got my new MI8 Lite and since then, i noticed that apps (especially twitter) seem to be having a limit of around 10 notifications truncated together, any new notification after that just removes the oldest one and takes it spot, while in my old Samsung with android 7, it could handle around 50 notifications.
Can i fix it somehow?
(Ps: I know i mispelled the title)
Hi,
I have an Australian S10 and earlier today updated from Android P (9.0) to Android 10.
The default Samsung keyboard which I use seems to behave differently in that it isn't as aggressive autocorrecting the words unless I give it a short pause or type slower (it's almost like it requires more thinking time in the processing).
So as an example, if I type "isnt", it wouldn't always correct this to "isn't" unless I type it more slowly. Additionally, I have tried to teach the keyboard that isnt should always be isn't by clicking the suggestion of "isn't" multiple times and it still hasn't got the message to always change "isnt" to "isn't".
I didn't notice this behaviour on Android P (9.0) so I'm wondering if I have a software bug of some kind in the update. I would prefer not to install another keyboard app but it seems to be worse for me than before the OS update.
I used to be able to type more freely and quicker knowing that the keyboard would have a high rate of auto correcting. Any ideas?

First thing I'd do is wipe the keyboard cache.
Hello.. I'm trying to research an issue (or known change) with the Notifications on my OnePlus 10 Pro running latest Android 12. This problem was first noticed on my OP8T after upgrading it to Android 12. Since I just got a 10 Pro I'm posting here, since that' s my current phone and the one for which I'd like resolution (sold the 8T).
After upgrading the OP8T, my notifications no longer let me go straight to an app. I'll use Gmail for example. Before the upgrade if I had multiple new email, I'd have a single notification. I would swipe down and see it, and I could one of two things. 1. I could just click on the notification and it would take me to my Inbox. Or 2. I could tap the little side button that expanded the notification and click on one of the emails to be taken directly there.
Since Android 12 upgrade, I no longer have option 1. I bought a OnePlus 10 Pro - it came with Android 12 installed, and I have the exact same issue.
I am not seeing this behavior with a Sammy on Android 12, so it has to be something in with Oxygen OS.
Anyone else seeing this, and do you see it as issue? Is there a way to set it so when you click on the notification, it just opens the App like you were clicking the App's icon? I TRULY MISS THIS
Yes this is a very big feature and product miss. Not able to understand why this is not blown up yet.
