gadgets.ndtv.com/meizu-m2-note-2686-vs-lenovo-k3-note-2529<- that compares both of the phones, hope that helped
Hit thanks if I helped
BUMP
M2 note I have also had a jiayu s3 advanced prefer m2 note to both phones
Sent from my m2 note using XDA Forums
Had both and here's my opinion,
Pros:
Meizu M2 Note:
- Amazing screen
- Battery Life
- Design and quality
- Feel in hand
- Camera
- One buttons does all, Home (press), back (tap) and lock screen (long press), all these in one button, really found that feature awesome.
Lenovo K3 Note:
- Performance
- Nice Dev support (CM12 and other ROMs available.)
- Battery Life
- Camera
Cons:
Meizu M2 Note:
- A few software bugs, with the Alarm and sound output, but I've heard that the new update fixed those
Lenovo K3 Note:
- Build Quality, had a lot of creaking noise when handling the phone, does not inspire a good build quality.
- Design, looks boring
So, it depends on the use you will be giving to the phone.

Just one issues with Play Services that come with the Installer, it's for 32bit Android and Meizu runs on 64bit, but there is work around that I posted here, check it out if you need to install, or just install the "I" (International) version of the ROM, which should come with GAPPS out of the box.
Just ordered another Meizu M2 Note, really liked it, but like my signature says, "Gotta try them all" but going back again, just to see how it performs now with a couple of updates out now.
I have purchased the device and will be receiving it in couple of weeks.
I will be testing GCam mod to see if it improves the Camera performance over stock camera.

NOTE : I will get phone on 15th May as it was launched yesterday you can understand the expected delay.

As of now you won't be able to Test GCam Mod on the M1 pro cuz i don't think so that Asus have updated the camera with api2 enabled so GCam mod won't work with it . Also no other Root or Unlocking solutions are available around so it's even difficult till date

It should work probably but firstly main thing is to unlock and get the magisk working properly which should obviously work after unlocking and flashing twrp (Which isn't available yet)
Does anybody have the zenui apps of contacts, dialer and messages? Is there a possibility that we can use those apps instead of the Google stock apps? The reason is I never liked those Google stock apps. Hence looking for those zenui apps instead. I tried searching in the playstore but could not find any original Asus apps. Does anybody have them and test them please?

Gyro : No issues
EIS : Passable but needs improvement.
Build quality :
Weight distribution is perfect so does not feel heavy.
Frame along with top and bottom is plastic but does not feel cheap plastic and the signal reception is excellent.
Phone feels solidly build and display is amazing.
Performance is blazing fast and after I turn off background run of play services .. Battery is outstanding too.
First charge - 8hr SOT after 2 days and 11 hrs. still 22% left in the tank

Cool.
No issue regarding February month for our phone but before that if we get Official Camera2 api including Asus zen max pro m2 camera UI/Ux in our M1.
Battery drain issue, etc then it will worth wait.
That ain't worth time..... Asus say major oems like Samsung is giving pie to their flagship phone in 2019 (S9/S9+)
But the truth is they have a custom skin they are working on a fully redesigned UI....and that's what taking it such long...
We are stock android a very much closer version to what Google source codes releases.....
We have to stand on this guy's....it's. Such a lame excuse saying Samsung providing it in 2019...

Astrophotography isn't that easy to port. A major reason why even Pixel 2 and OG Pixel will not receive this feature is because of hardware limitations. Even if the developers manage to port the feature somehow, it won't give you optimal results. Although the image processing highly depends on the software, but the hardware capability plays a very crucial role as well. For now, I would say, have patience and see how the porting scene rolls out.
I have a Pixel 3 XL (Which is supposed to get the feature) too with the latest official Google Camera 7.2 installed, still no sign of Astrophotography on my end. I am not a developer but have read enough on the topic because I can't purchase the Pixel 4 here in India, so looking out for as many P4 camera features to be available for my Pixel 3. Sadly, Live HDR+ and Dual Exposure controls won't be available for my device too.
Update: cstark27 has released a port of GCam version 7.2 and has managed to enable Astrophotography on the Pixel 2 (of course, the port is universal like always), along with several other changes. It's worth trying the port on the Mi A3 too. Here's the link to the release notes.

When it comes to Google, everything is done by Software. Astrophotography ports are already available for Poco F1, i hope somebody works on them to support A3 too.

Yes, but what I meant was that the results would not be as good as seen on the Pixel 4/Pixel 3/3a due to hardware. And yes, it works. You can even force-enable the Astrophotography feature in GCam.
Which mod has Focus at infinity option?
For those interested in ported camera other than Gcam, I can confirm this ported Asus ROG Camera works on unrooted stock Android P. ROG Controller Companion App needs to be installed along with the camera app as mentioned on original post

What is the advantage or new features of this camera ? I installed it and I don't see any improvements ?
Nothing better than stock cam and useful in daylight only. The only advantage is it's quite snappy and a few effects on right side
