hi, everyone. I think I face some trouble to update the android P.
I'm using a China version Nokia 7 Plus, and my version is TA-1062. I have unlock the bootloader and not root. I flashed the 8.1 august and used adb sideload to updating the 8.1 October, it's all fine.
But, every-time I update to the android 9.0, I will failed and stuck at the "powered by android" logo, and then the machine will restart automatically and then stuck at the same place, whatever I use the dial method or Sideload method.
Am I not luck enough? Or I have no fate with android P?
anyone can help me, I want to cry of it...

Actually it depends on the display and the kernel you have
I just captured the ota zip from Indian Variant of Moto G5s+ in case someone need it.
It can be flashed on unmodified NPS26.116-26 firmware using stock recovery.
Download - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hRLOvaLcwPQaWJmdFG5zdRWoUh2lMOoV/view?usp=drivesdk
Full firmware can be downloaded from here (It's not tested by me) - https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/sanders
Can be flashed in the 64 gb version?
Please Let me know if confirmed working!
The config inside the zip suggests that it's region-independent. Will give it a try and report back.

No issues running on my XT1806 (64GB/4GB, US variant). Strangely though, the build number didn't change after the update despite the security patch being installed (it definitely should have).

So based on whats stated above . we recieved a major update from 6.0 to 7.0 and as a medium spec phone we only recieve one major update does it mean that we wont get 8.0 android anymore ?
IMPORTANT: First, you have to update to latest oreo beta rom first. Then updater app will ask to update to pie.
Yeah, you saw that right. we can upgrade to Android 9 pie right now but it's beta version. Although there is no problem I'm facing using it as a daily driver.
And i have locked bootloader.
Although, there is a catch. You might not able to rollback to stable version before Xiaomi release stable pie version because of ARB policy.
Here is the process:
First you must be updated to latest stable version.
Now follow the link below and download the latest Oreo 8.1 beta Recovery rom file:
https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/sakura/
Its important to chose right version between them, or else, it's not going to work.
Now open update from settings, tap on miui10 logo 10 times. You should see more options on three dot menu up right.
Select "Choose Update Package" and select the rom file and install that.
Note: Your all data will be wiped
After successful install, check for update and you should get latest PIE update.
Update it and you are done!
Note: You can't install pie rom directly from stable as Android version is different.
Enjoy latest Android pie in you awesome Redmi 6 Pro until it's stable version released. After release, you can change to stable pie by following same process. You'll get regular update in beta rom as beta rom releases weekly.
What about battery and performance. Same as miui 9 or better ?
Sorry bro doesn't work at all. You can only do it by fastboot.

I see. Maybe they don't allow to flash oreo beta build as it's way too old now.
Nothing to do if you don't unlock then.
Here is the latest version running now.
And it's much stable and better than before.

Any ROM MIUI 10 Android 9 to install using TWRP?
When Android Q will come for moto x4 indian version
Any custom rom or update for stock.
Sorry for bad english:silly:
Can't see it happening myself. It's a nearly 2-year-old phone, that's had 2 major updates over its life span. I can't see it getting another one.

Custom ROM soon
maybee....https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/news/148423-when-is-android-10-q-update-coming-to-my-phone
Maybe a Q GSI.
First install Lineage 16 to enable treble compatibility then flash a Q GSI rom from the Treble forum. This [GSI][A/AB][arm64] Android Q Developer Preview says it's been tested on the x4. And let us know how it works! Might be awhile till there are Q roms with few bugs and decent stability.

Have you heard of someone planning a Q rom for the x4?
Android One program supposedly guarantees OS updates for 2 years and security updates for 3.
- Android One Moto X4 release date: 10/2017
- Android 10 OS release date: 9/2019
That's less than 2 years. If they are making it for one variant of Moto X4, I don't see why they wouldn't just release it for the rest of the variants. That being said, I am not fully confident the Android One Moto X4 will actually see it (also not sure if it would be that big of an improvement).
