Hi there all
Just bought a huawei p20 pro dual sim not sure of the model number.
I was looking for a dsda which i could not find nothing not even Chinese hand sets and it like no one likes talking about it not in UK any way.
To the point, I was testing the dual capabilitys I put a three sim in to sim 1 and giffgaff in sim 2 when I ring sim 1 (Three) off another phone then answered it, then off another phone ring sim 2 (giffgaff) I answer, and have sim 1 (Three) on hold I can switch between the 2.
Now if I ring sim2 (giffgaff) and answer then try and ring sim 1 (Three) in some cases you can hear the phone ring on the hand set you are ringing from but not the attended phone.
In most cases it diverts to the answer machine of the sim 2 (giffgaff) a little weird
I'm thinking this could be down to the fact that giffgaff pigies off o2 which uses 2 frequency for 4g and Three uses 1 frequency (I may be wrong)
What's the best adsa phone even Chinese makes if anyone knows of any.
And no replays that don't understand dsda, meaning pointless comments telling me about their phone and what it does most phones are dual standby we know this and probably yours too
Don't mean to be rude but a little annoying.

I have a SIM with two numbers, 2in1.
The problem is that it always shows on the title bar the number "1" (Line 1)
with the two numbers. The problem is that I don't know which number is on abd I have to go into the SIM menu to check.
any solution?
where did you get a 2 in one sim - i need one of those!
it's a service by my network.
This SIM has two numbers and whether someone calls you on the first number or on the second, the phone rings.
Aw Crap!
Hey well thx for the swift answer anyway!
;-)
You can buy 2 in 1 sims on ebay along with a sim duplicator that will put both of your single sims on the 2 in 1 card. The actually even have super sims that can hold way more than 2 sims. Just search super sim on ebay and I'm sure you'll find what I'm talking about.
Thx buddy I will - not sure if these will work with Tmob tho or willthey fit the kaiser...

That I couldn't tell you. I've never used one before, just knew where to find them. SIM cards should all be the same size though so it should fit and I just read a post in the wizard forum earlier today that said that one cooked ROM for the wizard even supports multi sim cards and the ones that don't you can change which number is being used in the sim manager. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that means you'll miss any calls made to the number not being used or if you only have to change the one being used if you want to use that number to dial out on.
No,you won't lose any phones.
The only thing is that you don't know which number you have active (to make calls).
Just this....The 2in1 SIM cards work fine on Kaiser without a problem at all.
this is great news you lot are frikkin brilliant - why did i stay away so long?!

hello all. this question may be stupid, but esentially for me: can i made 2 sim cards to work both on my diamond in the same time? I mean to can receive a call on the orange sim card and to receive also to vodafone sim card without to be need to change the sims, or to change the operator? to function both.
I guess there are a couple of mobiles (with two antennas) able to do that (seen one, can't remember the brand and model). With only one antenna what you can do is clone both SIM cards into just one and with a reboot you have the option of starting up with one network or the other (I reckon you can have more than 2). I don't know if it's possible with current SIM cards and can't remember the hardware and software needed to do that.
Oh.. And it's illegal The best option is to have more than one mobile
yes i know about that devices that have 2 antenna's. i was wondering if i can do it on diamond. i know also about that method with 2 sim and after restart to choose the network operator. thx for the answer.
Hi, I am shortly going to have an mi5. One of the reasons I bought the phone was to have one phone and 2 SIMs thus doing away with the need to have two phones (personal and private) with me. But I am totally new to the whole dual sim thing. Can anyone explain how it works on the mi5?

All in all,
you get to choose if you want to use data from SIM 1 or SIM 2.
When u get att call it says Incomming call on <Call provider 1> or <Call provider 2>.
The same when you wanna call or text someone, either you tap SIM 1 or SIM 2. All of this could be configured in the settings menu.
Cool, thanks.
Hi there, i just got a BLA-L29 upgrade from a Mate 8. The main reason its that i need a dual SIM phone and the way it was implemented in Mate 8 was brilliant. Both Sims were active on the same time, if you're in a phone call on SIM 1 and you get a call on SIM 2 you get a notification and you can put the first call on hold and take the other one. Same the other way.
Can this simple set be achieved on Mate 10 pro?
The only setting i can find are just call forwardings between SIMs, that's more than lame as its costing money and not reachable some time (for one of my SIMS the provider only offers call forwarding to the voicemail, not a different number).
Thanks

Maybe something to reach out to Huawei about?
I would have thought this was possible since both Sims are supposed to be active, even on LTE, simultaneously. I just tried it however (receiving a call to Sim 2 while talking on Sim 1) and even tough I can manually put the Sim 1 call on hold, the call will disconnect as soon as I answer Sim 2.
Hi, I have the Dual Sim Mate 10 pro, but actually I only use it with 1 sim card.
However, I have a notification always present saying "SIM 1 call forwarding" - is there any way to disable this feature!
Thanks in advance

Mate 10 pro single sim
Hello guys. I have huawei mate 10 pro single sim, but it has 2 rows of Sim connectors.
My question is, is there any way to activate second sim slot? In settings "wireless and network" I do not have any dual sim option.
Do I have to upload software from mate 10 pro dual sim?
Regards for help.
Does anyone know if the 5 minute call thing needs to be done right away out of the box with a specific sim card? 960f. Just want to make sure i do not have to put a euro sim in to region unlock it. My question is can i put my us tmobile sim in it, make a call, then root it and be good?
