Anyone know when the Mi Mix will get MIUI 9 global stable OTA update . I got an update yesterday updating me to MIUI 8.5.4.0. It's still android 6 and had changed the look of my icons . Anyone know how I can change the icons back?
What are you guys on??
Unofficially there's Epic and Eu Roms - I think there is also the Chinese developers version too.
Switched from Global 8.5.4.0 to Eu 7.9.14 - pretty much good to go so far.
I'm on 8.5.4.0 global, as well
Rumors set the release of global stable MIUI 9 around end October/early November, but go figure...
On the other hand xiaomi.eu is already releasing weekly 'global' ROMs based on MIUI 9 so there's choice [emoji41]
MIUI 9 is already available for mix in beta branch... and global version too... but yes, xiaomi.eu use chinese dev branch to introduce all feature with "global" support...
Hello,
do you know any way to install miui 10 beta on MI 8?
I have seen that it can be installed in MI MIX 2/2S , and I find it strange that you can not install in MI 8.

It's the same on any xiaomi device if you can find the rom.
It isnt available for Xiaomi Mi8. There is a MIUI 10 China Developer Rom Closed Alpha Testing. End of this month a open beta should start. (https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/applicable-devices-eligible-for-miui-10.44392/)
Hi there. I have been researching and in china the mi 11 pro and mi 11 ultra share the same ROM. Even on xiaomi.eu they share ROMs. Are any of you a user of the mi 11 pro and have you installed the global rom of the mi 11 ultra?
The roms are interchangeable , someone did it last week but you will have to search for the thread
Yep. I've been using Mi 11 Ultra Global Rom for my Mi 11 pro. Cheers!

Thank you. And according to your personal experience these custom ROMs are only better than the global one on the subject of updates? Do you really notice in a phone of these characteristics any change in fluidity and, above all, autonomy? Or it all comes down to receiving more updates, because really updates for me would not be the main thing as long as the equipment works perfectly for me
If you want global and stable...xiaomi.eu also have stable builds .. based on china stable but without china sizzle... But I use weekly because it looks like weekly is even more stable as stable ? How crazy it sounds

what throws me back is that to update xiaomi.eu I must download the complete package (about 4 gb). And it will seem ridiculous to you, but download 4 GB in my country (Cuba) is something expensive.

Do I have to open the bootloader to flash, or can I just use the update function?

Yeap, the bootloader must be unlocked.
Developer Rom- Unknown bugs, recommended for a developer who can debug it.
Xiaomi 12 Pro GlobalStable BetaRecoveryV13.0.4.0.TLBMIXM
I just tested this rom in A13 and this rom works perfectly without a Sim card as soon as a Sim is inserted, the data display blink(Sim no Sim..) and the system crashes and reboots.
Hey guys. Since I never wait or test a Xiaomi beta software before where we can find or enroll our device to test android 14? Saw an article few days ago they start android 14 miui based ofc beta testing. Is it possible to enroll our device and test it like Google pixels or Xiaomi got a different route and do closed beta testing ? Thnx in advance.
It's happening here, now A14 I don't know.
