Dolby Atmos doesn't work

Hello, I am currently using Paranoid Android with Magisk. I installed Dolby Atmos module but it doesn't work: the app is installed and I can open it without problems but when I play music Dolby doesn't work and the sound remains the same. I checked that there aren't any equalizer, I tried with Shuttle, Phonograph and YouTube but none of them works.
Any suggestion would be very apprecciated.
I had the same issue on Lineage OS yesterday. Isn't it because it is form ARM devices and our beloved MI5 is an ARM64 ?

I never managed to make it work on any rom I used unfortunately ...
Maybe an issue cause by the recent update of magisk. Something like incompatibility with version 13.1
I have the same problem.
I have miui 9.5.2 with nougat when I open it, it close. The message is can't work.
Is there a module in magisk functional??
Thanks
Dolby Atmos Classic (Lenovo) works for me.
Search on magisk downloads.
Did you guys tried to install Audio Modification Library module in Magisk after installing the Dolby Atoms thing? Sometimes it's needed to install that module too in order to have Dolby Atmos or Viper or else working..

Has anyone got Xposed to work with out random restarts?

I'm no Stock 7.1.1 with root access and Xposed confirmed to be active but I get random reboots when doing different things. Any suggestions or does it simply not work stable on Oxygen?
It works just fine for me.
OOS 4.1.6, Elemental kernel.
Even with stock kernel there were no issues.

Odd, Once i uninstalled Xposed my oneplus started working fine now.
Did you install xposed-arm64-25.zip via twrp like me?
I am using magisk version of unofficial Xposed Framework in combination with my version of XposedBridge I modified and built myself for the purpose of migrating GravityBox from MM to N.
Having it for like a week with one module installed (GravityBox) and no single crash so far. No app crashes either.

Sound mod - Dolby Atmos mate 10 (Pro) (Oreo)

After a long search for a working v4a and Dolby Atmos a fellow member @Bordo_Bereli51 reacted on one of my posts. Thanks again!
He provided me with the Dolby Atmos file attached to this post. And the way to make this work.
So now I can share this with you guys!
V4a is not available for our devices at this moment because of the driver.
The Mate 10 only runs 64bit and Viper runs on 32bit.
But don't be sad, I have this great alternative.
-From Magisk flash Ainur Sauron, this will make your sound a lot better and clearer.
-After this, install Dolby Atmos attached to this post, flash in magisk.
-Then flash Audio Modification Library from magisk.
Now you have these great sound mods working!
From magisk you can also flash Audio Compatibility Patch for listening to audio and streaming apps like Spotify.
In Dolby Atmos go to the tab called custom, put intelligent eq on open and Dialogue Enhancer On.
Volume leveler on, personal taste.
And you can fiddle with the eq as you would like.
Just to let you know, I am not a developer.
I can't help you with audio loss or any other strange behaviour of your mate 10.
Also I will not be held responsible for bootloops, crashes and or bricks.
I have this working on a mate 10 Pro BLA-L29C432 running on openkirin RRos 8.1 I don't know it this will work on other devices or ROMs.
It won't work on Emui
Works with emui9?

Yes, i'm on 9.0.0.197... i Can try but tomorrow..
Dolby Atmos works only on Custom Oreo roms like openkirin 8.1 or treble based 8.1 roms! On EMUI 8 or EMUI 9 it will not work. Trying to flash Dolby Atmos on EMUI will lead to bootloop. It has something to do with /system/bin/audioserver. Removing audioserver will solve the bootloop but Dolby atmos will still force crash, even with AML installed.

I had bootloop with JamesDsp. To solve, I used twrp file manager and I removed all magisk modules from "data/adb" folder. So at the moment we don't have any audio mod for emui 9??
I want to improve streaming audio Bluetooth for my car...

Viper4android on stock ROM? (Pie)

I'm thinking of rooting my exynos Note 9, with a view to installing viper4android.
Does anyone know if v4a can be installed on the stock ROM? I am on N960FXXS4CSK2 (pie) currently and would ideally like to keep it rather than flashing a custom ROM as it works fine for me.
Cheers
Yes as V4a does not need custom only root access .
But is their a V4A for Android 9/10 if not use other sound mods.

Question Viper4Android on Xiaomi 12 Pro

Hi, does anyone know how to make V4A function properly on Xiaomi 12 Pro? I am on xiaomieu and rooted already. No matter how I tried it still doesn't work as it should.
I think you should flash Audio Compatibility patches too. Magisk modules available for that

Yes, I have already flashed it but still not working. Have you got Viper4Android on your Xiaomi 12 Pro?
