[Q] Principles/Preparation for a root / flash-ROM beginner

Hi All,
as a newbie user here, I own a Galaxy Note and doing research preparing for the root and flash ROM.
I can see many post here for root+CWM kernel, but before that, how can I get a Stock Kernel to flash back? or recover from the rooted kernel?
How can I backup my Stock ROM before I flash my machine?
Does the Stock ROM contains the CSC files?
Can I backup the Stock CSC files before I flash my machine?
What is a deoxded ROM?
What cause the yellow triangle on the bootup screen?
Thanks for answering an annoying newbie,

Best way is to download via Kies or Samfirmware a stock ROM fitting to your device to bring it back to "stock mode" sometimes.
Stock ROMs also have CSC files, yes.
You do not need to backup the CSC files - they are built in the custom ROMs too.
Deodexing: This is needed to theme a ROM - no performance increase or other benefits.
The triangle appears, if you flash a unsigned kernel with ODIN - so you have to use other methods like described by Chainfire to prevent this:

[Q] back to JB?

hi all, i spent too much time switching trought kitkat cm roms, without finding a stable one for daily use, now i'm thinking to revert to jb, my question is simple, which way?
1-revert with odin?
2-flash a custom "basic" jb?
3-????
i heard there are "aligned and deoxed" jb stock roms, but i don't know what it means and how to get those, also, i need something that works with cocore, at least to speed up things a little bit.
thanks all

I think the best way is to flash stock with Odin, and then install JB ROM that you want (before that ofcourse install CoCore).
where i can retrieve stock roms to flash with odin?
(can i flash stock roms via cwm recovery? or via odin without wiping cmw)
thanks a lot

You can flash stock ROM with CWM, but you can't over 4.4. Because it has repartitioned preload partition to be used for swap. It will bootloop if you just flash stock ROM. You can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612540
Or you can flash stock JB firmware that can be found on samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com. You must use I9070 firmware over I9070 phone or I9070P firmware over I9070P phone, otherwise you will hardbrick your device.

Possible to install a stock Samsung JB rom straight from TWRP Recovery Recovery?

Hi all, I currently have my n7000 using TWRP recovery, rooted with a Omnirom 4.4.4 on it but for some reason it's quite unstable and I miss the S-Pen functionality, is it possible to install that 700mb+ stock Samsung JB 4.1.2 Rom from inside the custom recovery without issues like custom roms or do I have to do it differently?
EDIT: Actually is it ok to flash the stock rom with Odin, from a custom rom'd phone? that'd be simpler I think.

Help! Get mye phone back to stock samsung android

Hi!
I unrooted my phone to stock samsung galaxy s5 ROM (Touchwiz, using sammobiles). I thought that everything would be as if the phone was brand new, but I suspect that my kernel isn't stock samsung, since tv2 sumo app that uses kernel detection says my phone is rooted. (though I have no root access now...) The app won't play videos! Please help me get it working again!
Is it possible to have stock android ROM but not stock kernel? How can I get stock kernel?
