Hi all
Magisk can not install applications (.apk) from modules. I checked on the KALI NetHunter and ViPER4 FX modules. I always have to unpack the module and install the .apk manually. I attach the .log files from the installation. The same from TWRP
My phone: OnePlus 6T, Pie (OxygenOS 9.0.11), Magisk 18

YOU NEED ASHYX TWRP - https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...overy-twrp-3-1-0-1-samsung-galaxy-j3-t3573607
BEFORE STARTING - Some apps like Pokemon Go detect BusyBox apps, Xposed Installer and the Magisk Manager. Enable the general Magisk Hide as well Magisk Hide for the specific app in Magisk Manager. Activate in Magisk Manager 'Repackage Magisk Manager with random package name.'
Then you have to try renaming the package name of the Xposed Installer apk with APK Editor or something else.
STEP 1 - Download the Magisk 18.0 zip and move to External SD Card - http://www.mediafire.com/file/4rmzov...%29.zip/file.
STEP 2 - Install the Xposed Installer app but DO NOT INSTALL IT FROM THE APP, YOU WILL GET SOFT BRICKED - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
STEP 3 - Download the generic Samsung Xposed zip and uninstaller by wanam and move to External SD Card - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960.
STEP 4 - Uninstall Xposed completely if you had it already.
STEP 5 - Unroot in SuperSU. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT 'RESTORE STOCK BOOT IMAGE' OR YOU WILL HAVE TO REFLASH THE BOOT IMAGE FROM ODIN.
STEP 6 - Reboot to TWRP and flash the Magisk zip. Reboot to system and wait a while, make sure everything is working properly.
STEP 7 - Reboot to TWRP and flash the generic Samsung Xposed zip.
STEP 8 - Reboot to system and and wait a while, make sure everything is working properly. Enable in the Xposed Installer 'No Device Check' or download it - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-device-check-t3199705.
STEP 9 - Install BusyBox and then delete any BusyBox app.
Now you should pass SafetyNet.
Hello, I have Magisk Manager 7.5.1 (267). There is no option here to select and patch the file.
I downloaded an older version of Magisk Magisk, when I wanted to install Magisk, I downloaded the latest version of Magisk Manager right away. I cannot use the older version.

Hi,
I followed the install Instructions from Github - Magisk App shows, Ramdisk: yes
I use a old firmware on my Huawai Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L09) with Android 8.0.0.157(C432). I had Magisk installed before with TWRP.
I downloaded the firmware and extracted ramdisk_a.img with 7Zip FM, copied the file to my phone and tried to patch it.
But Magisk App fails with "unsupported/unknown image format"
So I tested Magisk Canary App, but get the same error.
I also tested to extract the Firmware with HuaweiUpdateExtractor 0.9.9.5 - but there is no ramdisk to extract.
Any Idea to patch the ramdisk?
no one a advice?
just use magisk 21.4
I've flashed recently CSC file and lost the root. I updated MAgisk app up to 25.1 version (not a zip file just apk) but still no root. I have flashed Magisk 25.1.zip file in TWRP recovery. Now the phone is rooted, but I unable to start Magisk app. It just stuck on the start (The Mask). I tried to uninstall Magisk app via Application manager, and reinstall it following by reboot. Still Magisk unable to start. I don't remember whether MAgisk was unhidden before the update and zip installation. What should I do next?
Should I rename the Magisk.apk to uninstall.zip and run this file in TWRP. Then install Magisk apk and install zip file from within Magisk App? If so, what the best way to install MAgisk App; via TWRP or File Manager?
