I have tried a factory reset but did not help.
Do you think this is the burn issue faced due to AMOLED screen
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Have you tried rebooting your device?

You do realize that a "factory reset" reboots the device don't you? Lol..
Had the issue twice, once was with red tint the second was either gray tint. On my first Tina I had a burn in from the button grid too. Solution was a screen replacement via warranty!
really sucks...
Noticed this issue just after latest update INS
Couls this be related or my only option is screen replacement
Thanks
Is the tint present when you use your device to view media or play games? If it does then there is an issue with the display. I would recommend taking it to a Samsung Service Center and let them take a look at it

Hi. My HTC HD7 has decided to develope some strange lines on the screen. their is no damage or anything but these lines do go away for a second or so when i start a new app, then come right back. they seem to vanish for that second when the tiles are sweeping by.i have posted some screens, any advice would be great.
P.s i have heard that "maybe" some sort of reset could cure this problem. i done the factory through settings but no joy.
Thanks,
Dan.

Are you sure your screen isn't damaged?
it also could be a reason of loose connection in the screen's cable.
try to see if the lines are there when you go to the SPL screen, if they are there, it's definitely a hardware problem.
thanks for the reply. yeah it is there on the spl screen. it seems to emulate the colours from the top of the screen. no damage to it and touch works fine. only time they go is on an all black screen.

Hi there my wife's phone camera is really playing up and I thought I would ask here before I send it away to the service centre
When taking pictures there is so much graphical tearing in pink and green and makes the images awful
Sometimes there aren't any problems for a few photos and then it's back

I just update my phone (gr5 mini - NMO L31C636B141) to newest update (L31C636B152) via OTA...
I saw a color on screen isn't same like before anymore (pretty hard to see - more blue color... Color seem like isn't correct like with previous version).
I tried to roll back to previous version (B141) and problem were fixed...
I thought it just some bug or something happened during an update and i tried to update again (with full firmware). But... still same problem like that.
You guys can see a color isn't correct anymore, more blue color and too showy...
When i try to reduce a screen light... that problem more evident.
I think that is a bug.
Anyone here same like me?
Sorry for my English. But. Now i am still in B141... turn off auto update... How could i send this problem to huawei?
This is a compare between 2 version: B130&B141 vs B152

Thank you for your reply.
I tried them all, but, maybe it's 1 of new function of B152 update @[email protected], unpublished but everyone got it.
I means a colors is very shine... and it's not true, more worse than previous update....
Hope they will allow turn off/on that function...
Now i am in B141 and turn off auto-update (disabled permission access to SD card of updater).
Hi,
I bought my NOTE 8 one moth ago.
And yesterday my screen seemed to have broken...
It just happened while I was on the screen, there was no drop or hit.
The screen went green, lost all color and contrast, it seems almost like white with some green color.
I've tried everything. Cache partition wipe, factory reset, flashing android with odin again, etc. Nothing works.
The strange thing is that the Always On screen works like always, screen is fine. But when I wake up the phone it goes green again.
It happened few days after I updated from android 8 to android 9 using Odin.
Any idea how to fix it?

Sorry. Best of luck getting a good deal on a replacement display.
Hello all,
As the title says, I bought this for my brother couple of years ago and now it's showing a purple tint (very obvious when running on white background) and also its like I'm seeing a double image in the background-specifically the image, in this case a guitar, as seen in the back; like it's burned in. Is this a serious issue and can it be fixed? Took it to a store and the guy, immediately told me change screen and it will cost almost as much as a new phone. Just wondering if there is another solution.
Thanks, Gary

If you purchased this unit 2nd hand, chances are the display has burn-in damage. You could try this app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mert.screenburnfixer&hl=en&gl=US) to see if it will help with the burn in issue. Please note that you should run it for about an hour.

Thanks for the answer. It's from a shop, not 2nd hand. And it happened after 2-3 years of use but not extensive. Talked with Samsung customer service they told me the guarantee is over so nothing can be done. Told them it wasn't my fault if you have faulty hardware that triggers after x amount of time that YOUR machine broke down. It never fell from his hands or anything. Anyways I'll try that app though from what I started reading online, the problem seems to be consistent with many same model phones.
