For SMS - update your SMS app via Google Play store. It works just fine for me.
I didn't test miracast but I would love to get a log from that.

Stability has been improved, shouldn't be as much lag as before.

Battery life is dependent on your phone, your apps and your usage. Give it a try and judge for your particular setup.
Guys be aware before flashing. In this first release alot of customization stuff is missing, for example you cant even disable the buttons backlight. The rom regarding not being clustored ( like havoc) but with the right amount off customization is aex 6.2 (for me). I really want use rr (my favourite rom for years) but I'll wait till new stuff is added.

Can someone check if there is a built-in screenshot editor and a scrolling screenshot feature?
I'm testing and looks really great. (2/16 Variant)
Only a couple of points to highlight are:
Notification light does not exist, it can not be customized.
Physical buttons can not customize actions either.
The system locks up when you just open an application and it seems that it does not manage RAM well.
By connecting it to the PC, it will not let me transfer files, even if the ADB is active.
The system in general presents some small lags.
I hope little by little they will optimize this ROM that for my taste is the best, thanks Devs!

The customisation menu is kinda messed up, as expected from initial build tho. other than that, smooth af.

Also when installed it makes the "system" partition smaller. With previous version and when you wipe the data and format through recovery I have 2900mb on the system total size, after installing the rom I have 2500mb. I tried using the resize option but does not change

One problem: Backlight on Buttons/Hardware keys can't turned off when hardware buttons are disabled.

from what I have seen other devices having same.issue with backlight buttons.
Hopefully the bug will be fixed by resurrectionremix Team

I have problem with GPS, there is no precise position (maybe only from WiFi and GSM info). Navigation doesn't work. Anyone else with the same problem?

You can see in the screenshot, that the device finds fix satellites, but no location. Gps.conf edit didn't help.

Additional bug: 4K video recording is laggish, while it was OK on the 8.1 ROM.
Update3: if anybody intrested, I have huge battery drain and random reboots too. This rom has bugs unfortunately.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

your vendor image is corrupt. flash vendor file from twrp. donwload it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmx1851/files/fastboot_files/
unzip it and copy it to your phone then flash it as vendor partition from twrp.

Did what you suggested.
Then magisk gets installed with showing error "Failed to mount '/vendor' (Device or resource busy)" , previously it was showing and magisk was not getting installed but this time it does after your method.
The problems still reamins are VOLTE not working and No Sound in Calls.
Can you please suggest something?

Just go to official website of Resurrection Remix. GO to Download Section and find Rom for RMX1851.
There are plenty of official Roms and builds.
You can locate Rom for your mobile.

Thanks for awesome Rom. Had used RR Rom for years on my other phones. Going to install this Rom on my Realme 3 Pro too.
In pie roms, encryption error is generally faced. Phone goes into bootloop or OS gets stuck at startup screen. Kindly suggest steps to avoid this problem.
I faced this problem on LOS Rom. But finally, it was done.
I have unlocked bootloader. Unofficial LOS with Magisk-Canary.

I wonder if quick charge works for this rom.. I had flashed a few roms where I cannot quick charge.. even to charge the phone is really hard.. however, when I enter in recovery mode, I can quick charge it. Is there any trick to have it working properly on Mi Max 2 Oxygen?

Yes that is possible. But this is a old kernel issue. And i am not a kernel dev. So if anyone fix that kernel bug I will update that in my next build.
