No one is successful working jio volte on n910t.
You must have either N910G OR N910F LTE international models because these 2 models comes all bands unlocked.
no matter whatever csc you change in N910T the LTE bands are diffrent in india from usa and will not support volte until your device get LTE network.
GO TO SETTINGS/ABOUT DRVICE/STATUS AND SEE mobile network type.
You will get maximum OUTSIDE USA HSPA OR HSPA+ BUT NO LTE.
I suggest you swap your device with indian model N910G that comes with indian csc and lte will works very well if you want jio volte.

Are you sure that it will work??? Can you guarantee it?? Bcz once I've already left my phone blank.. Now I don't want that to repeat again in any situation.. I'll only be trying if you say with a guarantee that it works.
Yes it does. Follow the steps in the above mentioned links
I hv sm-910F.. downloaded Indian csc files from net. Replaced with stock CSC files thru root explorer & changed permission's of CSC files, then rebooted device, but only change is Network changed from 4G to LTE. There is no VOLTE still. Can anybody
I bought Galaxy Note 8 64GB model yesterday from Samsung India online shop, inserted Jio SIM but VoLTE doesn't work, mobile data connected only with LTE, In order to make calls I had to install Jio4gvoice app. Note 8 doesn't have option to enable VoLTE.
When I contacted customer service they said bar code mismatch issue between the jio sim and mobile phone, new software update will be issued to resolve this problem.
Has anyone facing JioSIM VoLTE issue with Samsung Galaxy Note 8?
I am facing the same issue.
Jio customer care executive said the same thing.
Hope it gets resolved soon.
Its working on ma bros note8 here in India with jio... Sim is in slot 1 like its supposed to be.. Also it shud be assigned 4g/lte in mobile network settings.
I am facing the same issue Volte does not appear sometime
Changed sim card no luck with note 8 where as same sim card is working properly with MI mobile.
Sometime cant find Network .Volte disappear,No call no sms no net all dead .
Need urgent Fix
facing the same issue
hi,
I'm facing the same issue. i spoke to the jio customer care, but to no avail.
I applied to port to airtel. In the meanwhile i'm using their HDvoice app for calls and texts.
Any solution yet
Hi, I am facing the same issue. In my case the mobile was bought from US. Is there a solution? Jio4GVoice is annoying to keep all the time in mobile data even though I have fibre net in my home.
have you looked if it can be enabled via ims using Shortcut Master lite
Download Indian firmware
extract a file that start with name HOME_CSC_OXM***
flash that with Odin CSC tab.
Before this make backup of data including Int storage as it may wipe everything.
OR
Simply use a custom ROM that support Jio VolTE
Any fix for this issue yet? It's annoying, especially when the phone is made in India for India and doesn't work as expected!
Hello Guys,
As the vodafone VoLTE is launched in Delhi NCR circle i was casually trying to activate the same in my connection! I wasnt able to find the right setting, but then on the vodafone website they said to send a msg "4G Check" to 199 for checking compatibility of VoLTE on my handset (That is Note 8), to my horror the message i received was,
"Your Mobile Handset supports 4G, but will not support VoLTE. Kindly upgrade your handset to experience Vodafone VoLTE.
Are you kidding me, Note 8 doesnt support VoLTE?? Any inputs?
Note 8 supports VoLte but firmware needs required changes. Samsung have applied changes to to only three devices S9 pro, J7 next and J7 Pro to support Vodafone VoLte. Jio users already using VoLte on N8 so sooner or later it will be available for Vodafone too
But if it works with airtel volte and jio volte on the same firmware then how can it be a Samsung issue .?
Same step can be done for N9500 model too, for replacing TGY(hongkong) CSC by INS CSC ?
Will it trigger knox if I do so ?

Hello, I have been wanting to enable VoLTE functionality on my Galaxy Note 8 N9500 bought from UAE. Though its from UAE I was given a N9500 Version which is a Honkong / Chinese version of the phone. I am in India and want to use Samsung pay and also VoLTE.
Samsung pay would only take me to Install Honkong version of samsung pay.
Is it possible to flash a INS (Indian) firmware on this phone ?

No!
N9500 is Snapdragon soc.
Indian market gets the ones with Exynos soc.
So not compatible!
Only way is to root your phone and flash the modded csc zip file. BUT you Will LOSE Samsung pay! (For good)

Thanks for the quick reply Buddy. If not Indian firmware can we flash firmware of a country supporting VoLte . Coz Currently when I want to toggle greyed out VoLte button it says "Volte is not supported by your current software version. Contact customer service for more details" . I can live without samsung pay.
To make VoLTE work you need the IMS APN, basically when using VoLTE all the voice is send as "data" instead of "voice" when compare to 3G but these "data" are send to the IMS APN. Some phone allow you to manually add the IMS APN and turn on VoLTE, I don't know if note8 can do this or not as I never try to do it manually.
You can copy the IMS APN setting from other phone or ask your operator for it.
As I know Samsung will only include the IMS APN of the firmware's region in the firmware only.

Hello,
Is anyone using the European firmware with EE in the UK? Wondering whether WiFi Calling / VoLTE works with the 432 region, or whether it's baked into the UK firmware only?
Thanks,
David
I'm on EE with the latest .131 EU firmware, I converted from UK branded device. I can confirm VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling both work for me with Google Phone.
I bought s8 from USA which is T-Mobile. Now when I try to use jio Sim in it, it doesn't allow me to use volte. Can I change the firmware to global. Is there anyone who can help me with it?
I'm in US and want to buy a X1 ii now. But I do have some questions:
1. I know the US version does not support 5G. But is it the carrier issue or the US version lacks some hardware? If I use the US version in Hong Kong or Taiwan, will it work on 5G or should I flash some ROM to enable it? (in other words, are the hardwares all the same in different versions?)
2. The US version only has one SIM while I prefer a dual SIM version. So if I managed to get a HK version or EU version, can I use it in US without too much trouble? Will the other versions have 5G in US?
Thanks!
1. The US model is the same as the single SIM EU model. It works with 5G when flashed with the correct FW.
2. You can only use it with US carriers with US FW, since you need that to enable VoLTE provisioning on US carriers which will soon drop 3G in favor of VoLTE only. And US FW doesn't support dual SIM, though it can be flashed on a dual SIM model.

Thanks! According to your answer, if I'm going to stay in US for a while, a US version with US firmware is necessary to enjoy VoLTE (but never 5G in US). And I could flash it with, say Asian firmware, to use 5G in other regions than US. The dual SIM version, although not sold in US, can be used in the same way as mentioned here. Am I right?

Yes, though when running the US firmware it will ignore a second SIM.

Thanks a lot! It seems like Sony's marketing is pretty bad. Customers need to DIY a lot.
