Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

For dual sim - u should have the stock rom is 1'st installed, there both sim are working. Coz RR rom have no "sony modem switcher" & modem configs. Use the stock rom for switch & configure modem.
Before install gapps or twrp or something else(magisk for example) from twrp-zip u have to reboot in twrp again after install rom. It needs for A/B slot switching.

Blobs same as LOS16. It'll be work same as LOS16 (with source what was updated and compille at same time).And I don't want update RR7 for newer source. Only CrDr 5 will be. Coz I have no time and good PC for that. I can update only one...which i use myself. I use CrDr 5.2 (I love some of fueture from LOS like the LiveDisplay, RR hasn't this)
I successfully installed this rom with micro gapps, and it runs smoothly for awhile and then I get a screen flicker that gets pretty bad.
Has anybody else had this? Any ideas? A kernel, maybe?

Information: Flash the GApps before the first boot. If not, a clean flash is recommended.
Flashing and updating
Resurrection Remix clean install:
Download the latest build of TWRP and install it.
Backup all available partitions in TWRP to internal memory (not on the SD card), then copy it to the PC (to reduce the size, you can not backup /System and /Data)
Download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM and paste to internal memory
Full wipe and factory reset (recommended / backup to make sure not to loose data)
Flash the Resurrection Remix ROM zip from the Recovery
Flash the GApps to have the Google Applications (optional)
Every additional zip you want to flash (optional)
Reboot
Resurrection Remix update/upgrade:

There was a similar case for one user, when he swaged an image of the firmware on a broken SD card, then installed a ROM (which was then broken).
You need to carry out procedures for the recovery of IMEI / EFS, you may need to sew a Recovery-ROM through the Nubia Emergency Tool

I think there is no issue with IMEI because I can able to see both the IMEI numbers (*#06#).
Can you give me any source for Recovery-Rom?
Btw, flashing "RR Oreo rom" alone will work or do i need to flash any other packages? (except Gapps)

ohh sorry then, Gcam work fine.. 16MP on the back and 8MP on the front...

@noogi this is most likely caused by the applied kernel, based on the Fabian/Offain/33bca kernel tree. This occurs on Rolex parts. Try a muralivijay tree based software like Citrus-CAF 5.0 KeyLime-Pie or AospExtended ROM V6.2.

I used this rom for 2 days now.. It can be used for daily rom on latest build.. The only bug i found is after long screen off.. It will bcome dead.. Need to hold power button 8 sec to restart again..

I used this rom for 2 days now.. It can be used for daily rom on latest build.. The only bug i found is after long screen off.. It will bcome dead.. Need to hold power button 8 sec to restart again..

Wow really?? Im install this rom using batik recovery.. Or it have issue with batik recovery.. I see my device have randon reboot.. But not always happen.. Just once a day..

even i use batik recovery, didn't faced any issue, wipe everything before installing rom, and then gapps.. this is best pie rom i used on my redmi 4a.

Sometimes simcard status rejected. Reboot device is the only way to again enable the sim detection.
Does anyone face same issue?
audio glitching in audio fx equalizer on using Spotify. sound get very low on headphone , sometimes there is no sound in headphone. please fix this issue .

FP Not Working
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

your vendor image is corrupt. flash vendor file from twrp. donwload it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmx1851/files/fastboot_files/
unzip it and copy it to your phone then flash it as vendor partition from twrp.

Did what you suggested.
Then magisk gets installed with showing error "Failed to mount '/vendor' (Device or resource busy)" , previously it was showing and magisk was not getting installed but this time it does after your method.
The problems still reamins are VOLTE not working and No Sound in Calls.
Can you please suggest something?

Thanks for awesome Rom. Had used RR Rom for years on my other phones. Going to install this Rom on my Realme 3 Pro too.
In pie roms, encryption error is generally faced. Phone goes into bootloop or OS gets stuck at startup screen. Kindly suggest steps to avoid this problem.
I faced this problem on LOS Rom. But finally, it was done.
I have unlocked bootloader. Unofficial LOS with Magisk-Canary.

@adazem009 @Hausemaster Fantastic job! I've loaded it on my 8504F.
Only issue I can find was on initial start, I declined the face unlock, and that prevented my going any further. I rebooted, and reflashed, but it kept saying I needed app permissions...
So I flashed LineageOS 17.1 (which has never worked for me - caused a boot loop), then re-flashed Resurrection and this time accepted face unlock.
And now, it feels like I have a brand new tablet!

Please report bugs with logs. I've tested the screen recorder, but it seems I can't play the output videos.

Do outgoing calls work? I think they're broken in all LineageOS 17.1 based ROMs. (check if call voice works)

I tried to install this but ended up in a bootloop stuck on the RR logo (for over an hour). I tried going back to stock using the Lenovo rescue tool, which mostly works, but the tablet no longer has any Wifi. Any suggestions? I'm hoping reflashing the boot.img would help but I can't find a copy of that file anywhere -- if anyone can provide that I'd really appreciate it... thanks

Are you on the latest stock firmware? Also, did you wipe data,cache,Dalvik/ART cache after installing the ROM?

Which firmware are you on? (Post the version number) I'm on the latest 0031 based stock firmware and the calls (outgoing) don't work on LOS 17.1 based roms, also, I'm pretty sure that the dev removed a file that's responsible for outgoing , so, I'm not really sure how outgoing works for you, so, please provide the firmware version so that I can install it and test it myself and also to see if the outgoing calls work...

Make sure you're on the Oreo firmware. LineageOS 16.0, 17.1 and all ROMs based on them boot only on the Oreo firmware. I once tried it with the Nougat firmware, which ended up in a bootloop.

After installing RR, yes, I wiped all those. Stock version I am trying to go back to is TB_8504F_USR_S001019_1909091114_Q12000_ROW -- Since I had no pending updates prior to trying to install RR, I assume that's the one I was one prior
