yes its true atleast for me this happens to me during playing pubg mobile you should be better off buying poco f1 its build quality is not bad at all and is ahead of honor play in terms of real life performance worth the extra bucks

Yup. That's the reason I didn't buy poco f1.
While the Poco F1 is in the same price range as the Play, the Honor Play is a far better phone. We are talking about a phone that has a Kirin 970 which is a flagship chipset. There is no comparison between these two phones when it comes to specs. That being said, I play PUBG often on my Honor Play but have not noticed any touch lag. So if it's there, it's unnoticeable to me.
Even before buying the Honor play i was debating between honor play n poco f1...I bought mine in Jan and have been using my Honor play since 2 month.
Last week just out of luck i was in the settings menu and saw the run time of the phone, which was around 700 hours. I hadn't switched off/restarted my phone in nearly a month n i never noticed any slowness in the phones. the metal body also feels sturdy. I think honor play is better than poco f1 when you compare it in an overall manner
The design, AI, NFC, battery charging speed and screen estate are better than Poco. Poco f1 might have better specs somehow but not in those aforementioned areas.
So,I'm due an upgrade this year and usually stick with Oneplus and currently have a 6T,
My usual upgrade would take me to a Oneplus 8 but I'm reading not so many great things about these phones such as hole punch cameras and the price is gonna be crazy for the Standard 8 and 8 pro
But here we have a phone that will probably be similar in specs and possibly better in places with the X2 pro.
I'm not crazy anymore about OxygenOS,sure it's great but it's boring after all these years. A little more features or some might say bloat can be useful and I hear ColorOS is pretty good in this regard.
Oneplus has slowed with updates for older devices so I think I could live with less updates.
Would you guys upgrade to a X2 pro considering you can get the 12/256 model for €449 now on Amazon or should I wait to see what Xaomi do though the k30 doesn't look that appealing if it turns out to be the mi 10.
Did anyone upgrade from a 6 or 6T to this phone ?

Yes, Ideally this would be true but I think the next gen of high end SD chips are gonna be more expensive and power hungry due to uneeded 5g. a lot of mid range well priced phones from Xaoimi will be having mid range chips like 765.
I actually think there is a good case to skip the next gen of chips because they are mainly for 5g which most users in the world dont need
I personally encourage you to get this phone. ColorOS has some interesting features and it's rock solid. The phone is very responsive and I have a good SOT. Talking about battery, the VOOC charging is unbelievably fast! I have so much to say about the Realme X2 Pro, but the conclusion is that I don't regret my decision.

I just was with Poco F1. And it was a very good experience with it and said that I will no longer get other than Xiaomi ?
Probably the best value for the money at this time :good:
Pros
90hz Display which is very good
UFS 3.0
12gb Ram (top variant)
256gb Storage
50w SuperVooc
Great design & build.
Decent Cameras.
Cons
ColorOS still needs work and that comes in 0S7, with realme perhaps doing their own thing?
Cameras are just average (made better with Gcam) although as yet still not a stable build for the X2 Pro.
Overall for what you are paying them yea it's a very very good purchase :good:

They are both in both categories as they are made better with Gcam but without I'd put in the cons as they really aren't that great.

Lol,makes sense, though from what I've seen on YouTube and other reviews the cameras are pretty competitive with other flagships, not the greatest but decent in most departments,
I personally don't like using gcam because its usually unstable and annoying.
Still not convinced by the phone though with ColorOS though it should be interesting to see what colorOs7 is like.

ColorOS runs just fine in terms of performance, it's just a bit disorganized, Cameras they are perfectly fine in good light, but I'd say they do struggle and the Samsung made GW1 64mgp sensor isn't great, but the price you can let the cam be the way it is, it's not shockingly poor, it's just average and the price point for everything else made it a great purchase for me.
Here is a pic in low light, (Curtains closed, no natural light) Stock Camera (using nighscape)

OIS is not needed in any kind of way thanks to the Snapdragon 855+ and 12 GB Ram
i can tell you the difference , when i was using the P20 Pro i had always lags making any kind of video.
using the X2 Pro with 30 or 60 FPS its like Butter , also the way the camera reacts like speed focus etc you dont even need OIS so trust me you would have a lot of fun
The Only bad thing about the Camera is the Night Shot Mode ... you cant compare it with Huawei
but without that its simply perfect in my eyes and i did a lot of pictures using the stock camera app

Huawei are very good for low light so I would never expect the X2 pro to compare. What about updates ?
I believe the phone will receive support for Android 10 and 11. Updates every two months with security patch and a big update soon to colorOS 7,
Have you received timely updates as yet ?
Tbh it's a huge upgrade over the 6t... It's better in everyway except oxygen and as I've said before to others the euro version from Amazon Spain is one of the most bloat free and fluid operating systems around. Regarding the camera I've got to agree with @natedogg20050 it's a excellent camera and if you know how to use it correctly I've mostly got better shots then my son's mate 20 pro and wife's view 20.... Then when you consider the price to spec it's truly unbeatable in my opinion. I've had the OnePlus 6t and loved it but to me the X2 pro is far better.
Edit: Regarding updates I've received 1 update each month since getting the phone.

Thanks for the input,I looked at many reviews and comparisons over the last while and have concluded that the X2 pro is the best and most interesting deal out there.I am now bored with my 6T and wanted a change so this morning on Christmas I have just ordered my X2 pro 12/256 model in blue from Amazon Spain to receive it next week.
In regards to camera, most if not all the reviews I have looked at are positive. Ive seen that they have improved camera quality in recent updates also , particularly with low light shots.
I think people who do criticise are only nitpicking generally that a particular color may not be exactly the same as it is real life or stupid little things like that. The camera from what I've seen is excellent for the price including everything else.
Excited to use a phone with 12gb ram also,as I've only ever had 6 at most,90hz should be fun too and the little features of ColorOs.
Merry Christmas everyone.
I still cannot decide between OnePlus 7T and Realme X2 Pro. Coming from a really clean Moto G4+ experience and being kind of a power user (not gaming wise but regarding usage time & used features), I'm a little afraid that Color OS maybe couldn't deliver my wished quality. And video OIS and night capabilities of the 7T camera seems to be much better considering many YouTube comparisons.
On the other hand Realme offers super fast charging, interesting software features (three finger screenshot crop and all this nice little things) for a much lower price tag.
So , after 4 weeks, I returned my X3 Pro .
2 main reasons - no promised monthly security updates and no plans to fix the Android auto problems.
Their support is non existent unfortunately.
Love the design , the main camera's are fantastic, it feels brilliant in the hand and vooc is great. But having them effectively drop support so early at this price is not acceptable.
( Nb I contacted them regarding both issues. The updates - they will try their best to supply security patches when they can ! . Android auto - working on it - after looking , the X2 pro has the same exact problem which was never fixed. )
Back to a S21 Ultra.

I feel your pain. I have also asked to return mine, but so far (2 weeks later) they haven't bothered replying.
They're also useless at replying via Twitter, despite being publically called out on it.
As you say, it's a pity because the rest of the phone is great - so, so much better than the OP9 Pro which is the obvious comparison (S21 Ultra is too big).

I bought mine via EE anytime upgrade , my saving grace was I contacted EE within the 2 weeks asking if they could push them for support.
I too was looking for a slightly smaller , more comfortable device without spec compromise. There is no doubt that the S21U is the top dog , but it's not for everyone. I genuinely enjoyed actually using the X3. Shame.
Will wait and see what the pixel 6 XL turns out to be I guess.
Returned my Chinese version: so many system apps locked to Chinese: assistant, back-up cloud, store, messaging. Difficult if not impossible to get to usual android versions. Blocking reselection of messaging app due to 'security'. Just no fun, even with the screen, cameras , wireless charging. No hope that the community would ever grow enough to get proper root & rom freedom. Went back to my OnePlus5 before taking the inexpensive OnePlusNord N10.

How is the oppo find x3 pro, better than the one plus 9 pro. Oneplus 9 pro is cheaper, same display, battery, tab bit faster charging so not sure why people think oppo find x3 pro is better. Also the resale value of the oppo appears far much less.

Guys, please advise. I can trade my Sasmung S21 Ultra for a Oppo Find X3 Pro and thinking to do that trade. Is the Oppo close to the S21U? My battery with the ultra is excellent and the camera aswell. Reason for me is the experience of this phone. I switch often, just for a devices try out, but the samsung S21U is now on top for me and i doubt about the Oppo. Can you help me for this?

I understand that urge to get something new. But of you're so happy with the S21 why not keeping it until something reallly, really special pops up?
I cannot compare to a S21U myself, but i really dislike the fingerprint sensor on the s10 and s20. Don't know if the one in the s21 also gives you some grieve.
The X3 is much lighter (which is important to me) and charges really fast.
Battery life is ok, but i can't compare because everyone uses it differently.
Vingerprint is okay on the S21U. But i think the overall camera is better on the ultra compared with the Oppo right? And the updates from oppo are not often released

There is no manufacturer which I'd recommend without hesitation. Android is in a horrible state after the manufacturers modified it. For Xiaomi this is crippled Always-on-display, disabled Smart Unlock (Bluetooth) etc. Many restrictions for marketing purposes. MIUI is developed without understanding how the memory on Linux shall be managed: You keep everything in memory until someone wants it, so application switching is fast. The installed bloatware is ok, could uninstall it and thanks to DNS66 never saw an ad.
Samsung in my opinion is even worse than Xiaomi. If I buy a phone, it is my device. I want to be able to see all files on it and do a backup. But opening the bootloader Knox gets triggered. They modify big parts of Android for their UI, that's why updates cost them much effort to adopt their changes to new versions. More effort for Samsung, more bugs, worse experience for the user.
If you want a good Android experience, you probably should have a look at Google pixel phones. But bang for the buck is difficult here.
In summary given the choices I'd say the Xiaomi is fine. You could consider the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE if you don't need dual SIM and additional SD card, because 5G will replace 4G one day.
Imho yes but only when you use custom kernel and rom. If you stick with stock ones especially Miui 13 it really sucks, Miui is too resource heavy for 732g SOC. For example when driving I like to listen to spotify in the background and use google maps even though these tasks are fairly lightweight this phone with Miui 13 struggles to run them without stutters and freezes. If you're okay with running stock android like rom, that is when the SOC shines. It runs much more apps than spotify and maps no problem real fluid.

interesting this is exactly what i'm deciding between...you had enough of playing with roms? what's the reason for the trade?
The prices I'm seeing; the A52s is twice the price of the Note 10 Pro, so not an even comparison. I just ordered a Note 10 Pro for $200.
In my country Note 10 pro is around $350 brand new in stores for 128GB, and A52s is about 20-30 bucks more.

i found at same prime when buyed.. 260 euro for note 5 pro, 280 for a52
Note 10 Pro has proven to be still better that the next gen, freshly released Note 11 Pro. Easy to repair because screens are on the 120 bucks mark while the back cover is solid plastic, very nice to see and touch and won't break if you pry it for a battery change. Also the silicon cover is great from preventing fall damage.
After debloating its very balanced on any task, but don't expect flagship peak performance by any means yet battery lasts a lot (on short usage sessions it lasted me 3 days without charging, 1,5-2 with continuous/intense usage). Imho, after years going Samsung-only I had enough with Knox nonsense, increasing sales pricing and hard-to-repair phones.
According to the specs, the back cover of the Note 10 pro is gorilla glass 5, not plastic.
The Note 11 pro review I saw at gsmarena would suggest that the Note 11 pro is mostly a downgrade from the Note 10 pro, except for the 5g bands.
Edit to add: There's a 4g and a 5g version for it.
Yes, still the best in this price range of ~230 USD.
Samsung A52 costs 390 USD lol, not even comparable here

Yeah but 5G isn't available anywhere, plus the more users move into new cell tech the more smooth the 4G is going to be. Would not consider unless you're into high speed hype.

Realization just struck me. I have the Glacial Blue version that, along with Vintage Bronze are in fact frosted glass while there's not much about the black version which seems to be more common here. I got blinded by disassembly videos where non-Pro versions were considered the same thing as for Pro, so I just made a mistake. Guess I will eventually challenge myself to remove it in future whenever necessary, such as a battery change. They still look pretty simple and solid to remove and the glass lens vessel is separate tho (right, Apple?). Thanks for pointing out!
Yes, personally I don't care for 5g. 4g LTE is fine. One thing that both of the Note 11 Pro models (4g & 5g) have are increased 4g bands, too, that make them more compatible in the U.S. (bands 12 & 66). If 5g or those additional 4g bands matter to someone, those are improvements/features to consider.
I also saw replacement backs for the Note 10 pro, for around $5, and watched a video that made it look easy to change. Hopefully never have to do that.

I have no problems with ANX, deep sleep, battery drain, etc. on my RN10P running the Project Sakura ROM. It's cool to prefer one phone over another, but spreading misinformation doesn't help anyone.
Development for this phone really isn't in a good place.
If you look at the latest posts on each of the ROMs, there's either big issues with heavy battery drain, touch issues or microphone problems.
Sad times
With the S23U released, has any of you seen a comparison between this and the pro+?
I am currently on the verge of importing an origin vivo in spite of the concerns voiced on this forum. At the end of the day, I want the best camera phone on the market and seems it's down to this and the S23U.
Samsung seems to have taken a different route to reducing noise in low light with that crazy 200mpx/pixel binning but got a feeling the bigger sensor will win. It seems to be a big improvement over the S22U though, and the highlight retainment/hdr in low light seems improved too. Question is how much better the Vivo is and whether it's worth the hassle of getting origin and the issues that come with it.
Has anyone of you had first hand experience with these 2 phones or seen reviews comparing the two? Perhaps it's too early days
Vivo all the way:
Better battery, biggest it doesn't mean better always (mine last 28-30 hours) with my use, (a lot camera, data, two facebooks, whastapp, telegram, signal, a lot of youtube and business apps like bank aps etc)
Better charging speeds (80w) and 50w wireless.
Better price (buy from aliexpress is like 1000$ or low)
Better cameras and sensors (all 4 of them)
Better low light photos and video
Better design
Vivo gives you charger, cable, and premium case.
Both are fast, there is no clear winner.
If you lucky there will be some review of the X90 Pro with comparison to S23U in english. You can hope for some Chinese reviews but even in China the X90 Pro+ is not that popular - there will be much more comparisons with Xiaomi 13 Pro.
It's rare that chinese only phones will be reviewed by quality review websites like notebookcheck or gsmarena. Though a review of the X90 Pro is quite likely after the huge advertisement campaign by Vivo and expensive laucnh events... Europe and US are not that likely to feature big events however with the Nokia vs BBK copyright claims. Something strangely rarely mentioned here.
Better battery life is clearly Samsung - many users reporting 10h Dot even on 4G/5G Data. Unherd of for X90 Pro+ (maybe X90 and X90 Pro could get close - they have much better idle drain/battery life).
Price in Europe is definitely in favour of S23U - which sells for 1169 for the 512GB version with warranty, with update policy that will end in 5 years not maybe in 2 years (older Vivo flagships X flagships - only the Funtouch X versions have 3 major updates promised and updates are already running late - no January securiy patch for X90 Pro+ even on trial channel). Yeah no charger but any PD charger works full speed, vs 18w on X90 Pro+.
It's too early to call out the cameras - I feel both aren't top. But Samsung bags Video easily and over 10x zoom. Vivo will likely win 3.5-9x zoom range.
Gorilla Glas Victus 2 vs unknown (likely Schott)
Bootloader Unlock/Root and after updates are over in 5 years likely Lineage OS and others to continue vs crippled software.
Accessibiltiy to Samsung shops for battery replacement in 2-3 years of time - vs unlikely to be able to get any authentic new batteries for the X90 Pro+ outside of China (and looking at the reports on here on older Vivo phones - batteries don't seem to age very well on Vivo flagships)
Android Backup/Auto/Assistant/Maps Timeline and maybe in future more (this list got bigger every 2 years)
The only points that clearly speak vor Vivo are the fingerprint reader and yeah I personally prefer the design too on the Vivo. Though I don't know how well the Vegan leather ages. Some conflicting reports here. And yeah fast charging on original charger with original cable (missing either means slower than Samsung)
Display is identical, processor mainly just a newer batch (but that means lower voltages in general)
Front Camera goes Samsung all the way. Vivo has a midtier phone grade front camera and only 1080P video on the front camera as the sensor does not support 4K/UHD (1440P woudl be possible by third party apps - but none offers that yet. The sensor does support it).
I feel v2 is a joke - seeing that I mainly use Gcam (which cannot use the v2 chip). 8gen2 ISP would be sufficient as I don't see what the v2 brings at all.
Both have much worse colours than Pixel/Iphone in my opinion. Both show great detail at night but that isn't everything. Both have big shutter lag but Samsung at least got the autofocus right (on all cameras and not missing on 2 out of 5) and the autofocus working accurately (while that is not true for the main sensor on Vivo).
Yeah portrait may be better on Vivo 2x camera - but ONLY for typical upper body portrait. If you do full body portrait with the body at 2/3 of the picture size or less - the 2x sensor without autofocus isn't very sharp anymore. Falling back to main sensor is not possible in portrait mode on the Vivo stock camera...
Vivo X90 Pro+ only has Qualcom Fastconnect 6900 vs 7800 on the S23u (meaning no wifi-7, maybe not even wifi-6e, so far no one could confirm it to work! and missing the newest bluetooth LE additions)
S23U got Qualcom X70 modem - unsure what Vivo uses (either botched firmware on X70 or is it x65 or is it a chinese modem?)
Software in general is miles better on Samsung and less buggy. Yeah Vivo is fluid but Samsung too.
I much rather trust Samsung to fix the software deficiencies it has (mainly on camera - everything else seams great) vs Vivo (which has many many fields to catch up - and some like anything google related will not improve except google goes back on offering full support for it's app that aren't system apps. However with EU/USA and so on pressuring google to allow manufacturers to supply phones without google apps as system apps, that strategy will likely widen in future - as it's an indirect pressure point to include maps, assistant and so on as system app - which is impossible for Chinese market phones if China doesn't allow google which is highly unlikely in the next years).
The 2x sensor on the Vivo would be useless if the 1x sensor had variable aperture (because the 2x sensor has only bokeeh that speaks for it, low light/resolution/autofocus and basically everything else are worse vs a crop from the main)
The case on the x90 is a nice plus, but I don't trust cases without air cushion and camera protection - so I don't really see the use for it. If you feel safe enough with that tiny case - you should feel safe enough without any case.
Gcam support will be much better on S23U as there will surely be nice profiles for color/noise while on X90 Pro+ you are left with dubious colours at night on gcams.
If the X90 Pro+ had bootloader unlock and root - some issures would be fixable (like google apps) and if lucky once Vivo stops updates there could be some Lineage OS support. Vivo that way kinda steels the only way for long term life of that phone.
Oh yeah - when it comes to Camera2 API (according to Proshoot Evaluator) - Vivos advantage is HEIC, Samsungs advantage is vendor extensions of bokeeh, HDR, beauty mode and night mode vs none on the x90 pro+.
And sadly on camera2 api 1440P video isn't offered so it's only 1080P30 vs 4k24/30 on the Samsung....
Vivo has 4k video on the 3.5x via camera2while Samsung only has 1080P30 on both zoom lenses.
Both don't have 4k60P on camera2 !
Both only offer pixel binned resolutions via camera2api so are both quite restricted.

Have you had any autofocus issues as pointed out in the response above?

Every single member of vivo x90 pro plus xda knows you are trolling . You are stating ' issues' that all the phone holders told you they dont exist . Starting with battery , going to camera , than from internal modems to OS related issues that ONLY you reported out of at least 10 holders here . Those are the real facts . You would normally be banned right now from other forums . Respect to the xda admins for being that patient with you .
And by the way , if you write extremely long texts speaking nonsense ... You dont bring any value at all . At first every single point you got about this phone its negative . Criticism would not be a problem as long as its constructive and positive but the main problem its lying . And you did this several times here .
Who's old here knows you are trolling . Who's new here definately notices immediately that you live on a different planet than earth .

So vivo has no bl unlock? Thats mean rarely update come?
Bl unlock doesn't mean anything about update frequency. But with official unlock (not unlock via Potential security bug) most popular phones will have a custom ROM community providing updates for a long time, while with without you are at mercy of the manufacturer. Just look up the update threads about older flagships like 50pro+ or 70pro+ to see how likely updates are on 90pro+. Does not look good to me.. . Vivo's update policy is only for international market. Right now X90 even with trial version is stuck on December security patches. S23U will receive February patches on 17 February (it's not officially available until then - strange release by Samsung this time)
I proved all my facts somewhere here before with screenshots or sources (or Link to fast connect 7800 at Qualcomm which states WiFi 7 compatibility which isn't advertised for X90 pro+. Not even WiFi 6e (though it could be possible it's supported but just not advertised in specs).
I reported vendetta17 now for breaking points 2.3 and 2.4 of the forum rules. He accuses me of lying without being able to prove a single lie.
And I posted positive points, quite a lot. This is one of the best cameras on a smartphone. I think even better than place 10 as dxomark indicates as their protocol doesn't value secondary lenses much. I see it as top 6 or 7 right now even for point and shoot. If you shoot RAW only and need huge prints then it's even the best (but I feel apple workflow with RAW is much easier, also s23U has better workflow with RAW as Lightroom comes already pre-installed but quality wise X90 Pro+ is better). Seeing basically very little mention of RAW and super RAW in relation to the X90 pro+ makes me feel professional photographers avoid Vivo phones no matter how much Vivo touts professional photography at it's press releases. Samsung or apple or google forums on the contrary are full with questions or remarks on RAW and comparisons to the jpg output.
If the X90 pro+ would be half price of s23U, iphone 14 pro max then I would praise it too. If it was even just the price of Pixel 7 pro and would have the same update policy I would recommend it all out. At current prices without any update policy and seeing that x50 Pro+ basically stopped getting updates after 2.5 years, and other Vivo x series being neglected after only a year I don't see it recommendable. It was the first phone with 8gen2 and vivo paid for that exclusive right to Qualcomm. It's not comparable to mate 20 pro or p30 Pro which were albeit slower updates great phones and aged well at cheaper price than other flagships back then. Yes right on hardware it looks great, just like s23U too, but not software.....

I got it earlier today in official update channel. Not trial.
BTW - eSim is also missing from the X90 Pro+, S23U has dual physical SIM plus 1 Esim support. Dual Active, Tripple Standby. There is no dual e-sim on the S23U however so far (unlike Pixel 7 which now has dual e-sim plus 1 physical SIM. Not sure if tripple standby is supported by Pixel however).
Only Xiaomi 13 Pro so far has Wifi-7 (though not yet enabled because it's draft). X70 modem phones maybe in the future could get wifi 7 enabled - but if the X90 Pro+ has no Wifi-6e - then it's very unlikely it has X70 modem after all.

Yes, but is there confirmation users can unlock the S23 Ultra's BL out of the box? I've had no end of trouble rooting my Note 10+ 5G over the almost three years I've owned it, so using an unrooted Vivo won't be that much of a biggie.

Please explain how a person can "much" time...
if you believe Extremecaver has to do that.
It's TOO much time!
Well it's assumed to be the same process as on any other Samsung phone. Root is not the same as unlock! On my S7 and S8+ this was very easy. Root can be trouble with banking apps and so on. Bootloader unlock was super easy (yeah you void warranty on Samsung by rooting because of the e-fuse it will be forever but unlike Vivo no need for all that to get google apps fully working)

Well it's much better than outright not offering bootloader unlock. I find it's a great system - brick your phone by software - Samsung isn't responsible anymore. I'm pretty sure if the phone still boots but doesn't charge anymore or camera dropout Knox will not be important - but I do not know for sure.
The other way but that is more complicated to remove warranty for rooted devices would be to simply hand out unlock codes in your device account and giving you a warning about losing warranty that way.
I find it's understandable manufacturers do not like to warranty rooted/unlocked devices due to the high chance of someone bricking their device in the process. It's giving the user a choice (and after 1 or 2 years depending on the manufacturer it's end of warranty anyhow).
Vivo also has some kind of efuse or check system. Portrait mode did not work anymore after unlocking the bootloader / changing firmware on my x70 Pro Plus, even after reverting to stock completely.
But it doesnt matter, since we wont see another exploit for the Vivo. Waited a long time to decide between S23 Ultra / x90 Pro / x90 Pro Plus and with Vivo's price policy for the international model I definitely wont go for the x90 Pro. Software support and official availability in the west are deciding factors here.
If you want to judge vivo's dedication to the western market you just need to follow a phones announcement.
Website with a countdown that ran until 0:00:00, then nothing happened. Website still displays NaN-Timer and there has been absolute silence from vivo on when the global version is available and how much it will cost.
